High quality food delivered quickly, but missing a rice for one of the mains, and very expensive

The staff are of particular note. They took all the specifications and requirements and thoughtfully adjusted to cater for our needs. The food was excellent and highly recommended. Great atmosphere.

Second time visiting Thai house this time with my work colleagues. All 10 of us ordered food from the bottomless menu the food came out really fast and the staff seemed to be permanently at our table delivering food or taking orders. We all ordered around 10 dishes and everything that came was exceptional I would give the food 10 stars if I could.

Best selection of vegan and vegetarian options in Thai Cuisine! We have been regulars for years and have had the pleasure of enjoying Thai food which is quite difficult to find for vegetarians/vegans. Kudos to the team for delivering such an accessible and diverse menu. Definitely try the Massaman curry, Pad Thai, vegan 'fish' or vish and Tom Yum fries which are standout!

A choice for a dinner with an out of town work colleague. Frankly disappointing. Overcooked starters, crispy and chewy. Main course better but the lady serving looked very ‘peed’ off and wasn’t very welcoming. Beer a bit warm as well… Had a lot better there in the past; restaurant wasn’t busy but it was quite poor. Sorry; I am sure it’s just an off evening !

This use to be one of the best restaurants in Hull but unfortunately over the years it left its original hands and sadly it shows immensely, using frozen produce and deciding not to use and cook fresh produce is evident, after using Thai House for over 17 years I shall not waste my money and would advise others to do the same, Really disappointed as you can read 🤬

Disappointed with this. Overpriced and small portions

A very nice Thai restaurant on busy Princes Avenue. Very well served by public transport. Car parking not too easy. We my mid week some dishes not available but still good choice and plenty vegetarian options. Service a little on the slow side but attentive when called over. Very nice food atmosphere little off that evening.

Restaurant that delivers, not your average takeaway.

Super hot and tasty and arrived quickly

Thai dining great menu, good service, and relaxed atmosphere. Really enjoyed the Thai dancing on a special evening. Not a regular event, nice surprise.

The food was delicious and the service was very good. It's just a little pricey for Thai food. However we would recommend this restaurant.

Haven't been to Thai House for a decade and it is still absolutely exceptional. Food is gorgeous and fresh and staff are so friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

Delicious, our favourite place to get vegan food in Hull

First time here and was pleasantly surprised. It was a birthday meal for our son with a group of family and friends. It was lovely to try different foods as my husband and I have never eaten Thai food before. Quick service and lovely waitresses,we had a great time. Thank you to the waitresses who explained how to say certain words. Sunday 14/01/24

Thursday night, £27 per person, all you can eat menu. It was wonderful to be able to enjoy a wide variety of dishes. The food was delicious. We will be back. Thank you.

Popped in after a night out and was fab as usual..Lovely restaurant with great service and as always delicious Thai food at a reasonable price..We would highly recommend!!

I was very disappointed with the whole experience of being at this restaurant. As someone with food intolerances I tend to go for vegan options as I know there’s going to be nothing that I will react to but the items on the vegan menu are overpriced and very small portions. It cost about £20 for vegan steak and rice. The ‘steak’ came with a tiny bit of pepper and onion and only got two small steaks per portion, it was not worth the price paid at all. The customer service was appalling. My partner asked for a vegan version of a meal that is advertised as on the menu as having a vegan version available but was told it wasn’t vegan and to pick something else. The waitress then stood there and told my partner to hurry up twice! I wish we had simply walked out at that point due to the rudeness. We weren’t asked if we wanted drinks and my partner ended up having to go and ask for drinks. Everything cost £45 in the end and we left hungry so had to go and buy food to eat from the nearby shops. We will never be coming back here again.

We’ve eaten at Thai House on numerous occasions over the years and have always enjoyed our visits. Despite the best efforts of the fantastic staff it’s unfortunate the restaurant is beginning to show signs of wear and tear. Some of the serving dishes used on our table were chipped and the table settings were worn. The rest rooms require attention too. We thought the prices no longer represent value for money. I do hope that, what was undoubtedly the best Thai Restaurant in Hull, is able to return to it’s pre-Covid excellence.

Originally said 20-35mins when ordered, this then ended up being an hour.

Early evening meal. Great food. Got my favourite (pad kee kao) which I really enjoyed, good portions sizes too! I will be back.

the atmosphere is lovely. i went for my friends 20th birthday and thoroughly enjoyed the decor. the thai red curry was very coconutty, and the that wings were bland and looked unappetising. I reccomend any other thai place over this in all honesty. the price doesn't justify the flavour

The best Thai restaurant in East Yorkshire 😋

Went for the first time on Sunday evening. Absolutely blown away by the whole place. Amazing. The food was so good, the staff were very attentive and prices very good. Will definitely be returning to try the bottomless menu. The big bonus was that they also do takeaway!

The food was great, but the stir fry does not include any rice or noodles and the prices are sky high for the amount of food you pay for. Not worth the money!

Without a doubt, this is the best authentic Thai restaurant around! We’ve been to a lot of Thai restaurants and this one is second to none! On our visit this evening we opted for the bottomless menu which we’ve never tried before but wanted enjoy some different dishes that we wouldn’t necessarily choose. The food was outstanding with really good portion sizes. Excellent service as usual. I’d say this is our favourite restaurant in Hull. 😊

The mixed starter is over priced and didn't taste great. Thai green curry was good though.

It was excellent. I felt the veg could have been cooked for 2 mins longer, however, It was incredibly good.

Average food, and expensive for what it was. Ordered one ordinary fries and one with herbs and spices for £1 and the £1 felt like it was just for salt.

The food here is excellent- I highly recommend the all you can eat menu available Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday I believe. The drinks can be fairly pricey and the service is inconsistent. However, it's fantastic for couples and larger parties provided you're not in a rush.

Sticky was too sticky, was in a big clump and wouldn’t break apart

We chose to spend our 5th wedding anniversary at Thai House and they went above and beyond to make it a special evening. Truly authentic Thai cuisine with attentive service. Can’t wait to go back again ☺️

Lovely menu, great service and most importantly wonderful food!

Wrong item and missing item. Restaurant unable to resolve this for me, explaining the drivers are not their own. Directed back to Just Eat where you can only SUBMIT the problem, and “they will get back to you” so £20 down, wrong meal and no way of having it sorted out in the same evening. Either the restaurant or driver is at fault for handing over/delivering the wrong order.. not me. Yet I was the one put out. Food is always amazing, this just isn’t a very good way of managing these kind of issues when something goes wrong, to pass it back to the customer to sort out when they’ve just spent a lot of money.

Tasty food, well cooked. The mixed starter for 2 was great, so many tasty morsels. Main courses were tasty. A one star chilli rating is sufficient for someone whose tolerance to heat is low. Service was fantastic, really friendly and helpful.

Kitchen closed at 9pm, so if you wanted a sweet you had no chance

Midweek so very quiet but fantastic food and service

Gorgeous, fresh food which was beautifully presented with flexible, smiling, unhurried service. I honestly can’t wait to go back next time I’m in Hull. The restaurant itself is pretty and modern with clean floors and toilets and lovely lighting. It was quiet and relaxing. Wow!!!

Food was delicious and beautifully served. Good variety on the menu and very obliging about changing meals to accommodate different tastes. Very efficient and polite service.

Had a fab meal here off the all you can eat menu. Much prefer choosing from the menu and getting it cooked fresh to buffet style. Staff were lovely.

Starters were nice. Main meal was awful. Ordered crispy duck and crispy seaweed for new years collection. Duck was awful. Not crispy seaweed, other then limp salad on the side. For the price we paid it was awful. It was supposed to be a lovely treat. Really put me off returning. Which is a shame because its normally really good food. Edit - thai house contacted me to apologise and offer money back. Which I appreciate will change my review ro reflect this.

Food was soggy!! Couldn't eat the chips as it was so soggy, to the point where I couldn't get any out. So had to throw them out. Same with the starters. Was so soggy, couldn't eat it. Ordered a 2 person starter and only enough came for one, when I complained direct was told it wasn't there problem and an issue with Just Eat. However I ordered a 2 person starter and therefore should have received this. Not impressed at all as this was almost £40.

The curries were amazing as usual. Only downside was no prawn crackers!

Really disappointed with the sticky rice portion. Especially considering you pay a quid more than normal rice. Curry was as lovely as usual. Shame the app doesn’t let you select the heat like they do in the restaurant.

Went to try out the bottomless mean and couldn’t get enough. All such fresh food, curry’s where lovely and couldn’t fill up enough on starters 10/10 definitely would reccomend!!

I’m never disappointed when eating at Thai house but I’m never blown out of the water either. Tasty food, reasonable price, excellent location and good service but not quite as good as Hull’s other Thai offerings. Will always eat here but will never be my first choice.

Beautiful food and the staff are always extremely friendly and helpful. Lots of gluten free options for coeliacs like myself. We always go for the bottomless menu on a Sunday evening. Food is always piping hot and with lots of fresh veg. Cannot recommend enough 😊

This was my first visit here and first time in quite some time having Thai. We went when it was their all you can eat menu. It’s bit like tapas, small plates and you can just keep ordering. It was good for someone like me who wasn’t sure what I would like so I could try different types of dishes. Really nice inside, large selection on the menu. Really enjoyed it and I look forward to visiting again

An absolutely gold mine for vegan dining in Hull. A huge portion of their dishes can be tailored and offered vegan friendly without any compromise of flavour. Consistently excellent and always lovely service. 100% recommend

I absolutely love Thai house! I've been here plenty before and I always get the same dish because it's delicious. The staff are friendly and attentive, the food comes very quick and the atmosphere is great. Definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Hull.

If I could give an extra star I would. Absolutely delicious meal tonight, I cannot fault it in any way. The staff were lovely, so friendly, and helpful. I wanted one of the spicier curries but not as spicy, they made it mild for me. (Thankyou) I had a dumpling soup to start it was so good, I then had the mixed seafood curry. Fresh food reasonable priced I will 1000000% be back again soon

I cannot fault this resteraunt in any way! The service was fantastic. We were 15 minutes late due to parking issues but it was no problem, we were quickly seated and our drinks order taken. There was so much to choose from. I had a dumpling soup to start and I could of just had bowls of it it was one of the nicest things I've ever had! I then had a mixed seafood curry, it had 3 chilli's next to it but the waitress said she could make it a bit milder for me. It was again delicious, it was a creamy coconut type curry the prawns, squid and mussels were fresh and tasty. Veg had a bit of a crunch which personally I like. My friend had the tempura veg starter and sweet and sour veg again that was fresh and full.of flavour. I cannot wait for another trip over the bridge for a meal here. The staff especially the 2 ladies at the desk were lovely and chatty. Thankyou for a wonderful meal 😋

This is one of our favourite restaurants & we have always had great food & excellent service here. Last night we had another great meal & I hadn’t realised till now that I’ve never done a trip advisor review. We find the staff to be really friendly & we were served by a lovely waitress called Morgan she really is an asset to the restaurant. We highly recommend the Thai sausage starter it has a real kick

Real authentic Thai experience!

Had the set menu and enjoyed everything on it. We weren't rushed at all and the service was very good.

Had a real bad experience, I ordered a take away Phad Thai the chicken tasted like it had been cooked and left in the fridge for a few days, the rice noodles were like elastic beens, very chewy and the sauce was very bland indeed. 10 pounds for that horrible little portion is very high even if they cared about serving quality food. There's one down Newland ave that's a lot better. I'll be sticking with that one in the future. If the owner reads this I'd like to suggest you use fresh ingredients and remember, people are paying a high price for your food so put some effort into making a nice dish. Honestly, the little Phad Thai kit you can buy from aldi is 100 percent better than yours.

Far too expensive for very ordinary food. We won't be back.
