The best restaurants serving Default food in Norton Canes Cannock Chase West Midlands

Asked for crispy duck but it arrived almost raw and had to cook the duck myself. Prices have gone up but quality has gone down. Will be looking for a different Chinese in future.

Visited for breakfast, long waits nothing at the deck this was at 9:30am baring in mind! Definitely avoiding in the future.

Hadn't seen my friend for a few months as she hadn't been very well so decided we'd go for a coffee. Upon arriving we were greeted ever so nicely by girl with glasses who was clearing some tables. We had ordered 2 lattes, a cheese and tomato toastie alongside 2 slices of carrot cake. Although the price shocked me at first due to how expensive it was, the lattes and cake were delicious, it was just a shame that the same couldn't be said about the toastie that didn't arrive for over 15 minutes. I approached a staff member (who i was later told was the manager) regarding the waiting time for the toastie, she looked at me with a face that looked fed up and miserable and rolled her eyes at me when i had told her how long i had been waiting. She then shouted across to someone to put a toastie in for me and continued to shout at other staff members. Every other staff member was so very nice, just disappointed with the lack of respect shown by the manager, it's no way for anyone to behave when were spending money let alone a manager. I received an apology on behalf of the manager from the young girl who came over to the table with my toastie and 2 free coffee vouchers for next time, which im unsure as to whether or not i shall be returning.

Had a great breakfast, the 2 young ladies serving were so helpful and with a smile , screen ordering apps fall short of McDonald’s flexibility to change and adapt the item, but food way better than alternatives on site,

Fish and chips was really bad, had been on the shelf a long time and was baked hard.

I got a coffee frappe with hazelnut syrup and it was the worst thing I have ever tasted. It tasted as though the milk used had gone off and left it gross lingering after taste. I’m usually a fan Costa, however this drink is not it.

Another place that won’t take legal tender anymore. Apparently the big bad cash isn’t welcome here. A shame because the staff were friendly and my coffee tasted great.

Bone-dry noodles with no flavor whatsoever. Literally just boiled noodles. I ordered spicy chicken. So it was literally dry-as-dust boiled noodles with no vegetables and no sauce, with four chunks of chicken that had been spiced. Once I ate the chicken, it was hell on earth. I was shocked that it was literally just boiled no veg, no sauce noodles for £9... avoid

Having a bad day. Arrived in cafe right on 5 o’clock. The lady at the counter, Kim, very kindly made me a cappuccino and told me not to rush drinking it. Such kindness makes a real difference. Thank you Kim. Plus the coffee was great.

Good parking, decent setting, variety of food options. The toilets were ok -fairly clean. It’s a popular stop so it’s going to be busy at most times. Everything overpriced of course but that’s normal for service stations.

We ordered on the app, got to the drive thru & waited quite a while, we were told to park up & they would bring the food over. About 15 minutes later a lad appeared with our bag of food, no hello…sorry for your wait etc, very rude! We ordered a bucket of chicken wings, they were greasy and tasteless & went in the bin. I won’t be ordering or visiting here again
