Costa Coffee in Cannock Chase

Typical Costa when it comes to drinks and no complaints on that front. However, good manners cost nothing. So rather than a 'Good afternoon' followed by politely explaining that that they having no empty seats, I was told in a surly manner that my drink would be take-away. 5 minutes later when the drink was prepared seating was available. I informed them that I would be now be sitting in and they followed me to the vacant seating area and proceeded to spray the table. No issues with this. What I do take offence to, is the sarcastic 'Your Welcome!' as they turn their back and walk away. Well, your Very Welcome to my feedback.

Discriminatory manager arging the toss over me and my friend using the free Costa 300 point separately - he is severely disabled, hasn't been out since Covid, cannot get in to use a fave mask and cannot drive. Constantly demanded of him from the manager,"Is this going to be a regular thing, that you come for separate orders together?" It most certainly won't be regular - it's now going to be non-existent. Starbucks can have our custom now. Thank you for your "Customer Service" - it's shocking! Training in the Disability Discrimination Act 2010 needed, Costa.

Costa drive thru but we went inside. Plenty of parking spaces. Not many people there probably because of the disruption caused by road works. I always have flat white in Costa because the latte is too weak

Always get delicious hot drinks here. The hot chocolate is especially nice. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Try to avoid going here between 12pm and 2pm as it's really busy then!

Superb range of coffee and the Colombian bean special they did this week was lovely. The coffee here is one of the best in the area.

Great coffee and cake , central location in Cannock with chairs outside during the warmer weather. Polite staff and my new fave a flat white.

I have been visiting this outlet every week for the last 6 months on the way home from working at weekends. I always feel invisible, the staff wear headpieces and can talk to each other which is fine but takes the attention away from the customer. The cafe is often dirty and laden with cups and plates awaiting Collection, the staff are sour faced and rarely smile and today to top it off they had run out of medium cups for my Cappuccino having first made one for my work colleague then left me waiting like an idiot for mine whilst serving those behind me in the queue without explanation. Finally I asked what the problem was and after being told they were waiting for cups to be washed I asked for mine in a takeaway cup as I wanted to drink with my workmate and not arrive at the table as he had finished. Not good enough and I am glad my work no longer is in the area close to this outlet.

Not cheap at all, but you’re paying for quality! Lovely staff and lovely food and drinks. Caramel latte isn’t to be missed!

Went to Costa today in Cannock to pick up stranded friends. Two 5yr olds and a 2 yr old who were over excited about the snow and no school. Yes they were robust and a hyper but constantly kept under control. When they got loud we calmed them down, when they ran around or climbed we told them off. That's what kids do. But costa is not child friendly and nor are there customer. I was outraged when the assistant manger came over as we where leaving to tell us to control our kids, which we had been doing and more importantly that two of her regular customer had left due to the noise which wasn't acceptable Hence even though being a working mom I am also a regular customer through the drive through, we came lower on the customer importance pecking order and our business clearly wasn't wanted. I was even more upset when I asked her name and she walked off muttering it under her breath. Seriously costa give your staff some better customer service training. I want be giving you any of my hard earned cash again.

Fast service, friendly staff, plenty of choice of drinks and snacks, nice clean place. Can be quite busy at times.

We needed to get out of the house for a short stroll so we went for a walk and ended up in Costa in Cannock, Must admit the large coffee chains are not our favourite places, this like various others we been to before is grubby to say the least. The place was well under half full but tables full of dirty cups & plates, crumbs all over furniture and floors hardly an inviting atmosphere. Be a long long time before I venture in here again.

Majority of established staff are really friendly and on the pace. However newer staff seem to not get even the basics where environmental standards are concerned. Instances are, staff putting their fingers in ' to go ' cups before they prepare your drink and more recently being given a knife by holding the blade and offering it to you handle first, if you have to point this out to people in todays world then something is seriously wrong.

Hopefully I'm reviewing the right venue - the one near the M6 Toll, known as the Cannock Drive thru, Unit 2 Eastern Road.

This is just a typical Costa. I've been here several times. The food and coffee is the same as any other Costa. The only gripe I have here (and at other branches of Costa) the tables are left uncleared and dirty for far too long. I've lost count of the times I've had to clear dirty dishes to another table and it's not nice. For the prices they charge the tables should be cleared and clean for you to sit down

Usual costa fare but this outlet stands out for the friendliness of staff. Drive through always busy so its often quicker to park up and walk in. One thing is a pain, the automatic door is never working. Lack of attention by the franchisee, not to sort this out.

This is a very busy place lots of business meetings or use of wi-fi. Best to go on a nice day at least you may get a seat outside. Service good , staff friendly.

I'll start my review with the important information that I am not a coffee drinker. If you're reading my review expecting me to tell you how the coffee is here, I would look elsewhere.

I was unsure as I had never been to a Costa, very friendly and helpful staff that couldn't do enough and were great, even with my little one, have been back a few times now great variety too!!

Literally every single time i've been here the coffee is burnt, they have ran out of soya milk and then they mess your order up and over charge you or forget to give you something.. Its ridiculous. It needs to be sorted. Close it down and open a Pret or starbucks.
