Bone-dry noodles with no flavor whatsoever. Literally just boiled noodles. I ordered spicy chicken. So it was literally dry-as-dust boiled noodles with no vegetables and no sauce, with four chunks of chicken that had been spiced. Once I ate the chicken, it was hell on earth. I was shocked that it was literally just boiled no veg, no sauce noodles for £9... avoid

this is service station food so can’t complain i always get chozen noodle and it’s always good

They were lacking alot of choice only down to four items. They also don't give you alot of sauce and the noodles were stale. The actual flavour was very good though.

Food was good quality and taste, however they just don’t give any meat. Very disappointing. Will never eat here again

We traveled from London, tired of the usual fast food, and stumbled upon this spot for noodles. Honestly, it's my first negative review, and I hope this will probably be the last in a negative way. The food was a letdown—£25 for two noodle servings that tasted nothing, two small prawns cut with fancy scissors. Hospitality? Non-existent. They claimed everything was finished when we asked. Our £9 got us a tiny bit of noodles, watery curry, and prawns that looked like bits of chili. Not ready to give a spoon of curry, but the bill was around £25 for 2 small bowls of noodles and 3 pieces of Gyoza prawns ( which even did not smell like prawns). Definitely not worth it.

Always enjoy some tasty food here. Motorway food that is different and tasty.

Food options and quality does need slight improvement. When I get there of an evening, you can tell most of the options have been hanging around on the heat rack for a while.

For fast food in a services this is really great. Still tastes fairly fresh even though it can't be 100% made to order. More importantly Leah was amazing, chatty to all the customers (to the point of temporary surprise for the customer in front of me), helpful in her recommendations and a friendly face in a location that mostly creates monosyllabic zombies. My daughter loved the sticky chicken bites.

Staff look highly disinterested in their job. Should have walked away when I noticed this. I ordered Thai green vegetable curry with rice, but I was served chicken.

Picked up a chicken gyoza from the fridge. Then stood in line for 5 mins while I was ignored. They did not seem interested in taking my payment. The first cashier served 2 people before me and then just started cleaning up ignoring me. The next cashier served the people after me but ignored me again. If was only when there was no one else left that they realised that I was still standing to pay for my purchase. Don't look like they care about service. Never going back there again or at any of their other centres. Will be surprised if they stay in business for long.

£8 for a bowl of rice and a drizzle of sauce. Spicy’est thing was the look on the servers face when I asked for some more sauce. Duh. Sorry the tub is too full of cold rice to put anything else in there.

Food wasn't too bad, though I wouldn't say it's "authentic Asian" but the service and amounts left something to be desired. Paid £7.50 for a "standard" pot, which was chosen based on its size. The pot was then filled to about 20% with noodles and then to maybe 40/50% with chicken. The server couldn't have cared any less and made it an issue when we asked to add a drink.

visit today 12/06 restaurant Cho Zen Noodle M16 service station. The Teriyaki Rice was full of sugar it was so sweet I couldn't eat it, I asked to change it but the other rice with Curry was the same. I don't plan on going back to this restaurant.

Average quality pasta, dry chicken.. The staff acted as if they didn't want to serve at all.. I had better pasta from this company, but in other places..

Super rude staff, rice was horrible and the amount of chicken / sauce is not proportional - the consistency was a bit like dog food out of a can.

Awful service Awful selection Awful food The curry was like water and the prawns were well past their best. My dog has softer chew toys. No GF options available. No rice. Only 3 dishes available. The guy behind the counter obviously didn’t give a toss. I would rather go hungry than eat here again.

Just been ‘served’ by a girl who managed not to acknowledge me at any stage. No hello. No goodbye. No thank you. Just massive yawns. The noodles were about as fresh as the lavatories here. I’m not sure I have the will to go on any longer

Very poor service, server totally uninterested. Seemed impatient with us before we’d barely started ordering. Labels wrong way round on counter but seemed to be our fault not understanding what available & what not. Dish was mostly noodles, hardly any meat or even veg & tasted very processed tbh. Couldn’t finish it as not very palatable. Will not return

Awful. The server was rude and the person handling the food was coughing all the time, while not wearing a mask or any protective equipment. No idea how this place got 5 starts of food hygiene. A 1 would have been generous.

If you like yellow noodles slathered with a load of cloyingly sweet and spicy sauce, then go ahead. I found the 'sticky chicken' noodles I ordered to be almost inedible. The sauce was heavy, gooey, had a sharp hit of spicy heat, and was far too sweet. The large quantity of sauce made it all the more unbearable as it just soaked thru all the noodles.

Lovely food. The staff were quick and friendly to serve. The katsu chicken with rice and gyoza dumplings were really tasty. Not a bad price.

Red Thai curry is brilliant and staff really friendly. Always try and stop here, beats burger and chips

Waited 10 minutes for rubbish gyozas and *okay* chicken and rice.. not a great choice. Would not recommend.

Just buy if you are able to eat dry noddlesor or rice. Quantity of curry is nominal in portion

I have to admit I'd not met this chain before but it was part of the rather different food selection available at the M6 toll services. I had a crispy chicken with curry sauce and rice. We had to wait for the chicken,,, and then were told we had to wait while they put some noodles in. Honestly? Tasty food when we got it though.

Really enjoy the food here, it’s a shame they close as early as 6pm because I find most times I’m travelling they are always shut!

We went there as it appeared to be Asian food and we quite fancied that as a change to the usual McDonald’s etc.. we ordered what was termed the “Korean fried chicken” with rice. Firstly we were told that there was no rice and so we had to go for noodles in a way that really didn’t make you feel they cared in the slightest. When we got the food we realised it was just some cold, stale noodles with chicken nuggets and a bit of siracha sauce shoved on top. Terrible quality and at £8 massively overpriced for what it was. Will never be visiting a chozen noodle again.

Fast service, pretty good value meal for a service station and the food was tasty. Would definitely eat here again.

Sunday evening at services. Ordered two katsu chicken meal deals which came with prawn crackers. Was told there were no prawn crackers. I said this was not a problem they could give us something else instead in replacement. The response I received was “no”. Slightly surprised by the curt answer. Shame as the noodles were nice. Just shows customer service makes or breaks an experience.

Used this when visiting the service. I had Katsui Prawns with Noodles. Hot and plentiful. I've used before and will use again

The rest of the family chose a sandwich & a burger from other food options which I didn’t fancy so thought would give Chozen Noodle a try. Never eaten at one of their concessions before. Chose Thai Green curry with noodles. No long queues so served quickly. Went for the regular portion which was a mistake as should have gone for large as the food was excellent and made the fatal mistake of offering some to the rest of the family which they all enjoyed. For £5.95 was good value. Would eat there again. Thanks

Great food, quick service (much faster than McDonald's) staff were friendly and a good portion size. Only thing was that the prawn crackers were on the last day of freshness and a bit crunchy, however I am sure this is just a one time thing.

Have eaten at other Chozen noodles and all ok. I ordered large with rice.. No rice.. It's only 6.30 and they have no more rice. Can I have 2 half portions.. No only one. Had the chicken massoman curry. Can I have a portion of duck rolls.. No they will be 6 minutes. NO seems to he the popular word. It wasn't curry as it was so thin it was like noodle soup with some bits of chicken and nothing else. It looks like the curry had been watered down to make it go further. Not good. Next time it will he another food outlet

Lovely food. Server said order would be 5 mins but was less than 1. Hubby hadn't even finished ordering his meal from McDonald's before I got mine

We had the spicy sesame and sweet and sour dishes which were both as we expected having eaten at similar Chozen Noodle outlets. Staff were attentive and helpful, prices reasonable and food hot and appetising so we were quite happy thanks!

Stopped for lunch, thought we would have noodles instead of burgers. Staff were great, very helpful, extremely pleasant, but food was mediocre. Quite a few things were unavailable and still lcooking at 13:30 pm. Noodles were over cooked and sauces were too soupy and barely any chicken, but did have flavour. But the biggest rip-off is the price!!! I expect to pay more at services, but £30 for 3 pots of stodgy noodles with watery sauce and 3 drinks! That is just too steep! Won’t touch ‘Chozen Noodle’ again, could have got a decent take-away for the same price.

Not a generous amount of weak, watery sauce to go with a carton of unappetising noodles. Really disappointed as was hungry and looking forward to the meal. Sadly the poor meal was also served up by an unresponsive member of staff(having a bad day?) Not certain of date/month now as I use these services regularly... but haven't bought another Cho Zen Noodles meal since!

2 rice cookers and don't have any rice available or even cooking, completely incapable. Forced to have noodles and they aren't even cooked

Typical service station food, as others have said. But my oh my, quite horrid. I had the prawn katsu curry, which was basically a pot of noodles with your usual chip shop curry sauce, and two chopped up prawns. Buy a pot noodle from WHSmith instead and save the money. Probably tastes better too.

Saw this place when we was on our way back from Dorset last Friday, so decided to stop here on Sunday whilst travelling back down. Wanted to try it last time as the food look lovely and the smell was amazing. I got the Spicy Chicken with rice and some Chicken Goyza and some Duck Spring rolls. It was lovely and spicy and I would get something from here again if we stop at this service station.

Rude we have just waited 6 minutes to be told we would have to wait a further 6 minutes for sauce. Your staff are rude and not very helpful
