We had a fab evening at Black and Green! The food was excellent and delicious. All 8 courses of the taster menu really hit the spot and we will definitely visit again. Every member of staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable - their passion for the food and wine served was a real delight to experience. I would highly recommend you visit this lovely intimate restaurant.

As a truck driver, I use cafes all around the UK and beyond. I have to say that Big Daves is definitely my favourite! The first thing you notice walking in is how spotlessly clean it is. Floor, walls, counter, everything is sparkling. Dave and his wife are a lovely couple who always make you feel welcome. It's always busy with local people eating in or grabbing a takeout, which is always a sign of a good cafe. That said, you never have to wait too long for your food. There is a wider menu, but I've only ever been for the full English breakfast, which is fantastic! Really good quality food. I recommend this cafe highly.

Amazing place, I’ve been coming here for over 6 years. Great drinks and snacks, wonderful service from the owner Zoe but also, all other staff- you’re really welcomed in. And the evening events such as wine tasting are epic!

We have just had one of the best live music experiences ever at Joe Joe’s courtesy of the wonderful staff, and the mighty Subterraneans …. The whole place was jumping, I can’t wait to go back …. Took my mum for Mother’s Day. This is honestly the best meal ever. The food was piping hot and fresh and so tasty. The service is outstanding. Staff bubbly and friendly and so very hospitable. The venue is outstanding. The outside area is like being in Spain on a sunny day, like it was today. The inside decor is stunning and the building is full of character with a mix of modern and nostalgic decor. The ambience is warm and relaxed and welcoming . We will definitely be back and really recommend this little Gem. The live music artist Eva Gadd was incredible. Special shout out to Julie and Sonia for great service today and to the chef and kitchen staff for an amazing Mother’s Day .

Brilliant service everytime and quality food efficient food given. I had the mixed tandoori grill for starters, always my favourite and the chicken korma was so nice. Will try something else next time. Lovely friendly staff

We had an amazing meal here last night. Poppadoms with multiple dips were lovely, service was exceptional. Main meals were delicious, and the staff gave us a complementary dessert, drink, and sweets at the end. Would definitely recommend, we will be returning soon!
