Great food great service and very friendly staff

The food and service at Hollywood Fish Bar is always excellent. The staff have always been very friendly and patient. You can observe how efficient and knowledgeable the staff are as they go about preparing your order. It's always a joy to step into this new refurbished shop and order some of the most comforting and fresh food.

Value for money. Fresh, enjoyable and filling. Fish and chips recommended 👌

Usually the best chippy in the area. Went in for lunch. Just sat down to eat and no salt or vinegar. Not worth going back with the 4 way lights and cost of fuel. Very disappointing. Admittedly they were busy with a big order before me. But even still

Food tonight wasn't that great, had fish n chips that was fine, had peas to go with it peas didn't want to come out off pot tipped upside down an didn't want to budge. Kebab burger meat came out of baymarie the meat was cold, usually good chippy to go to but tonight definitely a thumbs down.

Great food. Great staff. My new favourite dish is the double quarter pounder with cheese. Delicious! Highly recommended.

Been a while since I've been here due to moving out the area but must say very friendly staff and great service..update the shop has just had a refit and looks really good with a modern feel as you walk in all new equipment feels very spacious and welcoming.

Place looks great following the refurb. Super busy but served with a smile, and food well worth the wait. The team were working very hard and deserve some credit!

Staff coughing a lot whilst bagging our food up. Staff didn't seem too happy to be there or friendly. Food was good tho 👍

Not been for over 20 years, but had a recent visit with my dad and it was top notch.

Not up to the usual high standard. Fish and chips were edible but not fresh. Batter was not crisp and tasted bitter. Will try someone else next time. Disappointing.

Best chippy in the area with lovely staff. Just received a takeaway order for 31 people. Order was perfect, food was hot after collecting and been driven 5 mile before serving. Well done on Vicki and her team , the whole experience was excellent, as was everyone's food

All staff very friendly, service very quick very rare you have to wait for items to be cooked, but most important doesn't matters what you order you know it is fresh and you get a very good portion.

Beautiful piece of cod and piping hot chips. The most tender chicken in the kebab. Food always hot and has always been nice.

Chips were like mash all soggy and fish full of grease, also girl behind the counter asked if we wanted grease proof paper on the fish, well obviously 😂1st time I've used and definitely the last 👍 never again. 3 working yet only one serving, service is terrible worst chippy I've been, to slow isn't the word! 3 simple meals took 25 mins shocking

Best fish & chips ever, so fresh, chips were so tasty & not dry like in some chip shops, massive portion & very reasonable, the cod was lovely, thick white fish in a light crispy batter, can see why this chip shop has a high rating, would have given six stars if I could! Definitely recommend it
