Casa Med in Bromsgrove

The food was not to my liking, but it was my choice.

Came this eve after seeing reviews online... did not book but staff accomadated accordingly and we were not rushed. It is set in a beautiful building with great decor. The staff were friendly and attentive. Great seasonal cocktails (pumpkin spiced white russian was divine) Only had bottled beer options so could possibly do with draft beer options. Food was great, had 5/6 tapas plates... potato alioli whilst great in flavour was smothered in alioli, so could limit that slightly. Harissa chicken was a firm favourite along with the churros. Would highly recommend and will definitely return soon!

Beautiful restaurant and there is parking waiting for you! Phew! I loved the food on the menu. My only 'but' was I wish there were a few more options as each dish is small and there aren't too many lacrosse free options. Be that as it may, each dish was just as delicious as the next.

Lovely restaurant in the centre of Bromsgrove that is definitely worth a visit. The whole team really care about this place and it really shows as from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and were so well looked after. As others have said, the menu is fairly compact but it really does mean you don’t feel like you are missing out on dishes even though there are still one or two we will be trying next time we visit. Everything was cooked to perfection and I would highly recommend ordering some bread with your main tapas to help soak up the lovely sauces. They also had a great drinks selection, including seasonal cocktails were so delicious. This place is receiving quite a few accolades and they are well deserved. Can’t wait until we can return.

This business has been here over 7 years I remember when it first opened the food quality still very high and menu very traditional. A few minor changes have been made such as no more flatbread which was definitely a firm favourite on our table before the ribs were a little dry but very tender but the calamari was extremely fresh supple and the chicken wings were perfectly cooked. My honest opinion was the patatas bravas was a little undercooked I prefer a bit more of a crispy skin on them before having the sauce over them but the sauce was tangy and Rich. Choice of drinks in cocktails was very good. Ambience and service here was phenomenal the girls were knowledgeable on menu choices and very welcoming probably the highlight of the evening. Decimal plate meals start at around 6 to £7 and the most expensive just over a tenner. The pork belly once being a healthy serving of cubes is now 3 thin slices for over ten pounds and was rather dry. Big portion of hallumi fries. Breads where tasty. The chorizo was sweet sticky and well spiced but again fealt abit over cooked or reheated. All in all i enjoyed the meal. It was moderately busy. The staff were attentive and helpful. But to compare each tapas ''snack'' price to a main course from your avrage take away the over all cost of £65 each with 2 dri ks each fealt.abit steap

We had a lovely evening at Casa Med last Saturday, the whole experience was superb. All the staff were amazing, will definitely be returning.

So been here a couple of years ago, so thought I'd come back for a night out with a friend. Friendly faces on arrival, we sat outside which I really enjoyed on a warm evening, and our waitress (clare) was a lovely person and kept us happy, food was really tasty and nice quality. I would like more choice on the menu and desserts, but being a smallish resturant, it probably means you would need a bigger kitchen to cater for it. Really enjoyed it though and will be back at some point, many thanks casa med

This is a lovely place me and my partner enjoyed eating at very much! As a celiac I was nervous about eating here, however all the staff were really knowledgeable on gluten free and really helped ease my nerves. The food was incredible and the staff really made it that extra bit special. I wish I could shoutout everyone who served us but I wanted to say a special thank you to Zara and Maaria for being super duper friendly with us and making our night here really nice :)

Went for a birthday meal on Tuesday 25th June. We were seated upstairs. The staff were very friendly, warm and welcoming. The tapas dishes we had were all delicious especially the pork belly each dish were flavoursome had 6 dishes in total between the 2 of us. We also ordered pratas bravas, chorizo, harissa chicken, casa med salad and bread with balsamic and oil. It was very filling so had no room for desert. With the 15% it was well worth it. I was pleasantly surprised how much it was so I recommend going on a Tuesday. This is the place to go for a special occasion.

Staff very slow. First and last tapas. The boss wasn't a very nice person and needs some lessons in service. As far as i know the customer is usually right. It wasn't cheap either just a few little bowls which to be honest isn't good value and highly rated with oh they also watered the long island ice tea. I don't particularly want very overrated food poor quality and staff..however the boss gets the gold star for his lack of interest,rude.and he certainly wasn't interested in.the fact we hadn't had Tapas. I wouldn't ever go there again. Cants justify the prices for what is just little.bowl with flavours well

A culinary experience, brilliant hidden gem. Staff were really friendly and the atmosphere was perfect for an enjoyable family meal. The food was sublime, we had 9 tapas between 3 and definitely that was enough but a full taste experience. Even better that there were gluten free options and plenty of choice. Topped off by amazing churros.

Hope was a star and ran us through the menu Food came out steadly and very fresh well presented Wine was pleasant I booked this very late on in the day and had the last table available. An amazing find on a family holiday. Top class tapas food, friendly staff, lovely environment and an overall amazing experience. We wondered many dishes including the pork belly, chorizo, calamari, haloumi fries and of course churros. They were all delicious! I am gluten intolerant and most of the dishes I could have which was amazing! Clare our server took amazing care of us and we had a wonderful evening. Best tapas we have ever had!

A very quiet midweek evening but the food was gorgeous

Lovely welcoming staff for lunch. Menu has a good selection thats not overwhelming but enough to get different dishes each time we go. They have a great range of gluten free options.

Havent visited this venue since 2015 and was happy to see its just as good now as it was then. The decor consists of 1 wall of thought provoking memory making sayings which were well received by me. The food service was fast and efficient by pleasant well mannered staff. And the food . . .well, the food was just lovely. I especially enjoyed the sea bass served on a bed of creamed leeks. I will be back.

Been twice in a short space of time and both times the food and staff were fabulous. It's a small menu done, really well. Could not fault anything and will be going back again very soon.

Lovely food, very good variety of options. We tried 7 dishes between us rather than the 5/6 specified and we were stuffed. With a bottle of red wine we spent around £86x. Lucie was very attentive and extraordinarily helpful throughout. Would definitely eat here again if in the area.

Great food as usual, all freshly prepared and full of amazing flavour. Kenny working on the evening we visited was very helpful and remembered us from a previous visit, taking time out to chat. Still my favourite place to eat in Bromsgrove and we’re lucky to have a few really good places in the area now.

Our first visit to Casa Med. Fantastic food at reasonable prices in a lovely atmosphere, we found 8 tapas dishes were sufficient for the three of us. The dessert was lovely. Overall very welcoming staff especially from our server Gracie who was very polite, took our order and brought the food and drink to our table efficiently. Overall a faultless experience and will return soon.

This was my first time eating Tapas and I was not disappointed. The food was absolutely gorgeous, every dish was delicious. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. It was a little hidden gem on the high street, beautiful building hidden down a little alley. I would definitely recommend and hope to return soon.

Absolutely amazing. The service is excellent, and the food is phenomenal. I also think it was great value, we a table full of food, soft drinks and cocktails and it came to less than £100. An amazing restaurant with amazing staff. Everyone should try this place if they have the chance. I'll certainly be returning.

The cocktails are lovely. For Bromsgrove it's a real escape to the Mediterranean. Day or night the staff are a delight and couldn't be more helpful..... however, dispite what they tell you their super heated food, to the point of mouth burning, which can only be achieved through a close proximity to a sun or.... a microwave makes this place just another Bromsgrove hole!

The food was of a good quality but was expensive for the amount you got with each dish, I know it is a business and they need to make money but we spent around £30 per person, are not big eaters but still left hungry and went to the supermarket over the road. The steak and blue cheese was literally 3 thin strips of steak in some sauce for £10.50... I cannot fault the staff or atmosphere but will not be returning

We found this place for dinner during a long drive from Edinburgh to Oxford. The food was excellent, and the staff were brilliant. Our server was Zara and she was very attentive and friendly. If only all restaurants had service this good! It was the perfect pit stop for our long drive. We will be going again in the future!

great place to eat. Me and girlfriend came here to eat, The mojitos were really good, the food was excellent my only criticism is the croquettes were a lot over done and the pork belly were a little too crispy but overall we will be definitely be coming back next time we are up next.

Staff wanted you in then out asap you felt sooo rushed by staff clearing the table whilst I was still eating also which is so rude and I said that to the girl but she continued to clear the table. Never will I return again.

Disappointed I guess as this place got good reviews... But we didn't feel was anything special and very expensive. Food was very average, friendly staff but a lil bit rushy and we come early at 1730. Been to nicer and cheaper restaurant in London! Very over priced!

Unfortunately we left our special birthday meal totally appalled after visiting Saturday evening despite many previously great experiences. The woman that served us clearly should be in a different line of work as the lack of customer service skills she possessed were disgraceful. My parents travelled over an hour for their 60th birthday meal following our recommendation from our last visit and we were left totally embarrassed by the whole experience. We are honestly appalled that someone working in a customer facing role could be so rude and ruin what we had hoped to be a lovely experience that ended within an hour. The lovely woman working on front of house was made aware.

Great place for superb food, service is excellent. Best restaurant in Bromsgrove.
