Ok food but just had the new menu and the price of adding chips to the burgers vary from £1.30 up to £2.30 for no reason

I have been going to this Costa since it opened and I’ve always been aware of the 90 minute parking allowance which they introduced about a year after they opened but because I don’t check the signs every day I didn’t realise that they had sneakingly change the rules and introduced a no return within two hours which I don’t understand. Why would you not want a customer to come back and buy more stuff off you within two hours oh I’ve got it its so you can charge a customer £100 for doing it well this happened to me recently I went into the store. I started to have an asthma attack when I realised I forgotten my phone so I went home got my inhaler and my phone came back 25 minutes later and had a coffee and something to eat about a week later. I received a parking charge notice for £100. The staff were unable to do anything about this saying they have no control over the car park which I find very hard to believe Costa Customer Services are also saying the same thing that they have no control over the park car park what a load of rubbish. I think Costa ‘s are just treating their customers with contempt. Not only do they want to make money out of you with expensive coffees and food they have thought of another revenue stream which is to make money out of customers accidentally overstay when Parking. Me and my friends will no longer be Costa customers so that’s probably about £10,000 a year of lost business.

A mixed bag really - we stayed for 2 nights for a wedding nearby. The rooms are very small and dark, our bathroom light didn’t work so we showered by phone torch. Very dated but clean and functional. The staff are the best bit of the whole place, they’re polite, kind and as accommodating as they can be. The noise is quite considerable, but that’s what you get above a pub. There was a domestic going on a few doors down from our room in the early hours - rather spoiled the second nights sleep. The food at the pub is good, service is speedy and a choice of continental or cooked breakfast included.

Food was amazing but it’s 22 degrees outside and muggy and sat behind the kitchen spent £73 and our family was just sat there sweating, no air con what so ever

I was recently staying in the area, we decided to get a Chinese takeaway for ease on the Saturday night, which we collected. Honestly this is one of the worst Chinese takeaways I've ever had and it was expensive for what we ordered. The food was inedible, it had no flavour - mostly just tasted of grease. Would not return and would not recommend.

Consistently the worst McDonald’s I’ve been too (anywhere in the world). Poor service and customer care. One to avoid if you can.

I ordered cheesy chips. When I ate them half the chips were very undercooked so I threw them away. Very disappointed as have had nice food before

We have used the Wok Inn for a couple of years and find a lot of the negative reviews here on TripAdvisor surprising. Food is excellent, with a wide and varied menu. Always served piping hot, estimates for when it will be ready are generally accurate and the portions are a decent size. Highly recommended and our go to place for a Chinese in the area.

16.03.2025 11:40 Wellington Shell. Thank you for the experience. Our last visit to subway ever. Basically the lady behind the counter tells you what you will eat, it is not your choice anymore. From 5 customers 3 walked away without having anything. I regret that I stayed and ordered.
