The best restaurants serving Default food in North Dorset South West

Arrived looking forward to a nice bacon sandwich and not disappointed My partner being vegetarian fancied a egg sandwich, unfortunately not possible even though adding an egg to a bacon or sausage sandwich is possible!! Would have been a rating of 4* , but failure to cater to a very simple request lost a * Sorry

I came to collect a pizza and was greeted by the friendly owner and another customer! We had a nice chat while waiting for the pizza to finish cooking. The pizza itself was great, a classic Italian style pizza with a crispy base and fresh ingredients! Cannot recommend this place enough :)

We were staying nearby for a weeks' holiday and were recommended Fellini's as a great Italian. We ordered takeaway meals, 2 x pizzas, a seafood spaghetti and chicken rigatoni. All 4 were excellent, very tasty and still great temperatures when we got them to our accommodation. We are going to have another takeaway before we go home. This is highly recommend.

Schon beim Betreten wird man von einer warmen, heimeligen Atmosphäre empfangen, die durch die liebevoll eingerichtete Vintage-Dekoration noch verstärkt wird. Man spürt sofort, dass hier mit Herz und Seele gearbeitet wird. Die Betreiberinnen backen alles selbst, und das schmeckt man auch. Die Scones, Kuchen und herzhaften Gerichte sind nicht nur unglaublich lecker, sondern auch wunderschön angerichtet. Jeder Bissen ist ein Genuss, bei dem man die Qualität und Frische der Zutaten deutlich herausschmeckt. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die großartigen vegetarischen Optionen, die mit ebenso viel Liebe und Raffinesse zubereitet werden – ein echter Pluspunkt für Vegetarier. Das gesamte Erlebnis war einfach perfekt. Man merkt, dass hier Menschen am Werk sind, die ihre Arbeit lieben und das merkt man in jedem Detail – vom freundlichen Service bis hin zur Präsentation der Speisen. Ein Café, das durch seinen Charme und die hohe Qualität in jedem Bereich besticht. Für mich ist das PetrAnette’s ein echter Geheimtipp, den man unbedingt ausprobieren sollte. Es bekommt von mir ganz klar eine 10/10 und ich freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch!

Best cafe around by miles, fresh cakes every day & daily specials like meatball subs & burgers! Huge portion sizes, deffo doesn’t dissapoint! Good quality food & since being taken over by Mandy the nicest staff in there always up for a laugh & chat!!

They sell themselves as "A restaurant with rooms" and that gives a mere hint of what they're REALLY about here, firstly, the rooms are beautiful, clean, & well maintained, their location literally couldn't be any better, just on the edge of the very lovely hill-top medieval town of Shaftesbury, it's a two minute walk into town and we'll worth a visit in itself, now then, the nitty-gritty, the food, OMG! I'm based in Leicestershire, and now I know how good the food is here, I can tell you that I would drive the 161 miles straight there for a feed here, no exaggerating, all three courses of my evening meal were absolutely stunning, the aromas, the textures, the sheer depth of flavours, I'm not gushing am I ? LoL Anyway, Don't take my word for it, get booking! You won't regret it

My favourite pizza place in the North Dorset area! Order on the website and collect in 15 minutes or they deliver locally. Quality ingredients and they do anchovies. Much better than their new local competition in Gillingham. Average prices for above average pizza. Helpful staff.

Great brunch! Served by May and she was brilliant. Great entertainment and great staff - short staffed but still got very good value for the money paid - will definitely be back!!

Visited Steve and the Yellow Bicyclists for a couple of their supper clubs. Always an outstanding and fun evening with gorgeously prepared and cooked food, served with a smile. We understand that Steve will be hanging up his apron, so thank you for everything and good luck for the future. You deserve it.

Couldn’t fault one thing everything was perfect , hot plates , lovely ingredients , local sausages reasonably priced and friendly staff would highly recommend

Love this place. I have friends who live nearby and we often meet there for coffee. We are definitely frequent customers. The motorcycle theme is a big attraction and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

We went as 2 couples meeting for Sunday lunch after a local walk. The Ibberton is a great place for a drink by the fire and Sunday lunch. Roast pork, loads of well cooked and presented vegetables followed by home made puddings were all excellent. Good value and perfect service.

Myself and friends have eaten in, attended events and ordered home deliveries from Kabab Syrian Cuisine and the food is divine. I could eat their muhammara every day it's so delicious! Having lived in the Middle East, it is some of the finest food from the region I have tasted! The friendly, accommodating service only enhances the flavours as it is cooked with such care and the music played in the restaurant makes a visit a wonderful experience. Shukran and we will be ordering again soon!!
