Amazing cafe/restaurant. The staff are so kind and the food is amazing. Had a burger yesterday, others had smoked salmon spaghetti and others had a great salad with hallumi.Beeb here a couple of times and it seems to be different food every time but it’s always delicious Can’t recommend this place enough!! My husband loves the beers too! Lovely little historic chapel nearby too

Woodland cafe with wonderful mushrooms on toast. The day we went it was too cold and windy to eat outside so they moved us into a sort of shed as their yurt was temporarily out of commission .

A lovely lovely meal, in an out of the way place in the woods. The lady in charge went out of her way to accommodate our special dietary requirements, where previous places earlier in the day just gave a straight "No sorry, can't help". Lunch I a massive Tipi with an open fire, (lit just for us)! Milton Abbey in the area and St Catherine's Chapel just a short walk away. Well worth a visit.

We called in for lunch & were certainly not disappointed. All 4 of us had different dishes- & 1 of us is dairy & gluten intolerant. The lovely lady in charge of the kitchen asked me what I could eat & made up a tasty salad. The setting is stunning & we ate in the huge tipi as it was cold outside & they even lit the fire, just for us. The staff were friendly & accommodating. There is a farm shop on site & a few farm animals which we enjoyed looking at. We took a short walk up to St. Catherine's chapel afterwards.

A really unique spot and as it was our first time we had just coffee. This was very nice and we were well looked after. Will be looking to go back and try food next time although my only reservation is the cats that hang around the tables . I love animals but cats hanging around is not my thing

Delighted to have stumbled passed this gem on our hike. Large yurt with log fire to enjoy some food and a drink. Beer on tap and the best roast dinner we’ve ever had! The couple running Smiths were one of a kind, extremely friendly and appreciative for the busness. As a group of food, we needed some extra food for our friends baby and they whipped up some delicious veg and eggs free of charge. Not many places would do that! Worth stopping by for a drink or light bite (if the roasts aren’t available). Thank you for looking after us - we hope to come back in near future!

First time visiting this amazing place for lunch on a Sunday. It was honestly one of the best roasts I have had in a very long time. I had the mushroom and Stilton wellington, it was incredible. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the location and rustic feel makes it seem even more special. Will 100% be returning when next in Dorset.

We were reluctantly dragged away from the fair and ended up having the most wonderful experience. They say that food tastes better when you dine al fresco, and this sure proved it. The food, ambiance and staff couldn't have been improved, thank you.

Popped into this café for a coffee stop during the afternoon. I had previously visited maybe a year or two ago but the inside was not as I remembered it. It turns out there has been a new owner hence the changes. Whilst I didn’t eat this time, looking at what’s on offer, I will be back. Oh, and the coffee was great btw.

A great cafe, busy in the morning with breakfast and coffees etc. Clearly well liked by the locals and visitors alike. We travelled almost 20 miles to have a lovely fresh breakfast here. The decor is fun especially the cruet - you need to visit to see! The staff were helpful and the service good. I recommend it and we will go again.

Eye wateringly expensive if you need to buy something to take home for lunch. 3 slices of quiche £22.50. Only 50p each less than having it heated on a plate with salad. Arrrgh.
