Visited Glastonbury whilst on a weeks break in Crewkerne. Popped into to this lovely cafe as it was dog friendly. Forgetting my glasses I asked if they catered for gluten free, they did (it stated it on the menu). As I ordered the lady behind the counter asked if I was coeliac, I told her I was. When the food was brought to the table, the lady explained that she had cleaned the kitchen and prepared my food using all new unopened ingredients. All I had was a corned beef and onion sandwich, but the attention to detail was second to none. Really recommend this place to coeliacs and non coeliacs.

Lovely secret garden out the back always a welcoming atmosphere. Variety of beer and drinks available. 3 bars and usually one staff member but always served promptly and politely very busy today but as usual a lovely friendly atmosphere. Quite near the bus stop, so if your bus is cancelled, then the perfect place to wait. A proper old fashioned pub and popular with locals and tourists alike.

Quick friendly service but the food was appalling. At 65 years old it was the worst fish and chips I’ve had in living memory. We’re on holiday and should have read the reviews first. The chips were lukewarm, dry and appeared to have been reheated and the fish was inedible, tried it but the batter was like a biscuit, not at all like a batter should be. Absolutely awful!

Lovely selection of vegan cakes… nice music and atmosphere…. But… this is the only cafe I have ever visited that does not supply hot water with a small cup of tea… a £1 charge for hot water is mean spirited and I would be reluctant to return.
