Amazing pizza, wonderful thin crispy base and tasty tomato sauce. Definitely with a try anytime of day. And you can eat it with a beer next to the lake.

The cafe was clean, light and airy, with a small play area outside. We phoned to reserve a table - Shelly was very welcoming and friendly. She was also very informative as we needed local information. Coffee and cakes were delicious 😋

It was just ok. Our paninis looked a little bit sad compared to photos we saw on here after the fact. We were the only people there but it took 20 mins (however I appreciate that fresh food does take time!) My cutlery was not clean and my plate had (dishwasher?) smears on it. The paninis tasted okay, but not higher than a 6/10 I think. We appreciated the board game offerings and enjoyed some competitive Dobble while waiting for our lunch! We would come back and give Carlé's another try!

Amazing lunch. All of the staff were very kind and helpful. Will definitely be coming again. I really recommend the chicken, gravy and stuffing sandwich. 10/10

Me and my friends came to lakeside for dinner. It was fabulous!! The food was fantastic aswell as the atmosphere. The live music was lively and just how we wanted to spend our Friday night. We enjoyed plenty of cocktails and our delicious food. Thank you to all the staff. Our waitress Jenna was also especially welcoming and attentive all throughout the evening. Lovely staff and surroundings, lake Pochard is more for the angling enthusiast than the recreational angler, due to size and bottom (weedy) however the small lake is great fun with fish weighing in respectably, simply put the venue is suitable for all the family, with absolutely fantastic lodges, we had a cavernous 3 bed lodge which was well furnished and has all appliances. Staff are full of great advice on fishing the two lakes, and there is a tackle shop just a few yards away. Well worth the trip, we, and the dog Eddie loved our week, many thanks :)

Lovely to eat out in the sunshine by the lake in the day. Although an evening meal was slow service but was busy inside. Food was OK and perfectly tasty but not exciting.

Love the pub, been coming for 20+ years, but we were very disappointed with the food this time, having not been for a while. We were offered ciabatta or 'white' bread, and I suppose we were expecting lovely crusty fresh white. Instead, we got clammy, seemingly sliced white, with a bit of grated cheese inside. I don't think we'll be eating here again. What a shame.
