Loved this little find, stumbled across it after a bike ride & didn't want to leave. Drinks well priced with a great selection. A DJ was on & it felt like we were abroad whilst the sun was shining.

We had a really great evening meal for a table of 10. Given a nice table location. Staff were super helpful. And all the food were fresh and tasty.

--- Today we had the opportunity to come to you for lunch from Cheltenham. We were welcomed by a lovely, smiling, and very helpful lady who served us — Ms. Paulina. We wish we could meet people like her everywhere. Few have the experience, kindness, warmth, and understanding that she showed in this profession. Despite almost all tables being reserved, Ms. Paulina didn’t hesitate for a moment and managed to find us a spot. In many places, we would have been told to wait. But for her, it was no problem to accommodate us immediately! We sincerely thank you for the wonderful service, for your advice, and for explaining what the dishes consisted of. The dishes recommended by Ms. Paulina were exquisite — thanks also to the kitchen staff for preparing them. We highly recommend this place. Karolina & Marek ...We’ll be back again soon! ---

I visited the Royal Oak with my family in May '25 to celebrate a birthday. The atmosphere was relaxed and peaceful, with gorgeous surroundings and very charming. Our hostess showed us to our table and gave us plenty of time to choose from the menu without keeping us waiting unnecessarily. The service throughout was efficient and friendly. The menu is nicely varied, with a subtle twist on traditional pub grub, and priced perfectly. My son and I had the sirloin steak which was cooked to perfection, and the rest of our party had the cider battered haddock which they enjoyed very much. The ambience is perfect, the beer garden is spacious and well appointed, and the location is excellent. Very highly recommended, whether for a date, a meal with friends or family, or a special occassion. I wouldn't hesitate to return, and will definitely be doing so,
