The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Water Park Cotswold South West

Loved this little find, stumbled across it after a bike ride & didn't want to leave. Drinks well priced with a great selection. A DJ was on & it felt like we were abroad whilst the sun was shining.

Had a pint and food unfortunately did not stay there but and its a big but if the food is anything to go by it's a gem. The service is great but the food, home made lamb pie and the lamb shank just fell off the bone one of the best that I have had in a long time just wish that I lived closer it's a must go do eat and be happy 😊👋👋👋👋 to the chef or chef's 10/10 well done....

Stayed at Lower Mill Estate for three nights at the beginning of January, preempted a Sunday roast and booked for four adults and two children on Sunday afternoon at 14:00. Seated early which was great but a long time between ordering and actually receiving our meals. In the interim we were advised that they had run out of chicken breasts for the Sunday lunch, albeit disappointing but cannot be helped. I did not catch the waiters name but he offered us some complimentary olives which were gladly received. Four roast dinners arrived at the table and two children’s meals, all ok except the beef was inedible. One served as rare but I was unable to cut it even after asking for a second opinion from my husband, it was mostly fat. The second asked to be cooked well done was just a burnt end again completely inedible. The waiter did ask if everything was ok with the food but by the time we received it we were past the point of wanting an alternative if it was offered. Following this we waited for fifteen to twenty minutes to have a gin and tonic and a pint of lager in a near empty restaurant so we gave up before we were given the chance to ask for dessert. An okay experience by all accounts but the time waiting and the meal offered for the price made us question whether we will return. We may have been unlucky but just left a dampener on an otherwise lovely stay here.

To say I was disappointed is an understatement. Having visited this pub twice before and had amazing food I was shocked to how awful my food was. I last visited just over a year ago and as for many reviews I was impressed. We were there just after 13:30 today and as we walked in we were bemused as to why we were the only people there. The pub was cold very cold. The chap behind the bar did light the fire when my wife asked if there was a blow heater. We had to sit with coats on. I ordered the trio of sausages, have eaten there before and enjoying chicken heart starter last time I had high hopes that my selection of sausages would include maybe a venison sausage or at least some old spot. I’m disappointed to say they were exactly if the same as Tesco sausages and to make it worse they were cut in half like you would for a sandwich. I however ate the offering as had my two girls with me who get very shy so didn’t want to make a fuss. Luckily when the bar man came to collect the plates both girls were in the toilet so I told him that I was disappointed to pay £18 for 3 Tesco sausages. He replied with I’ll tell the chef 👍 My wife had chicken and bacon linguine which should be called bacon linguine for obvious reasons. Very bland tasteless food. A crying shame to see such a beautiful pub in such decline as my experience today suggests. I didn’t ask for any money off as I did eat my 3 Tesco sausages and I just wanted to get out of there in to my car to warm up.
