What a jewel in Haslemere’s office culture crown. This lovely place is a find. Comfy chairs, a great array of home made cakes - we popped out for a cake and coffee and were were not disappointed. It’s got a friendly vibe and the menus look enticing for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Great decor, terrible acoustics - couldn’t hear friends across the table (we were a round table of 6) or the waiting staff. Delicious food - melt in the mouth chicken and full of flavour. Really rushed, starter plates still on the table as they brought out main course (within 7 minutes of ordering) and still not removed just shoved back and forth across the table as they tried to find space for dishes. Not offered more drinks. We were done and dusted within 45 minutes and not tempted to stay on. Even though the food was fabulous we won’t be returning.

Don't be put off by the drinks thing. This is a delightful and well-appointed cafe in what I imagine was (and still is) the local Post Office. We were greeted by a cheery lady who asked if we wanted the Post Office or breakfast! Imagine our surprise when she announced that full English is half-price for October weekdays. Well, that made choosing very easy and it was delicious and more than either of us could manage. Good coffee and friendly servers so an all-around 5* from us.

An impromptu dinner at Moma delivered on taste and a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Great atmosphere and service complimented delicious 2 course meal. Expensive at £115 for two but justified.

Called in for a late last minute Sunday roast. We rang first and they told us limited options (it was after 3pm) we chose a beef meal and turkey meal. When we arrived we were greeted by several staff members very pleasantly and professionally although not sure if it was us or the small dog we had with us. Food was very promptly served and was delicious even with free extra roast potatoes. Was also reasonably price. Will definitely return and recommend.

Have been dining regulalry here for a couple of years, but this time the food and service were truly appalling. There is nothing left of its previous glory of wonderfully cooked food and attentive service. The steak was chewy, the olives tasted like they’d come out of a cheap tin, the bread was stale and cold, the ‘special’ fish was off and smelly (!!) and the side dishes tasted like they'd been reheated from frozen. Cannot remember having a more disgusting and off-putting dining experience than this. And to add insult to injury, we're told everything was perfectly fresh and as usual (and maybe something's wrong with us)... In particular, the arrogance of the lady who welcomes you in was truly irritating. And won't go into the time we had to wait to place our order - which had to change as few things had run out (or gone off?!), or how long plates were left uncollected, etc, etc. After complaining to 3 staff, it appears that there is a new "chef" (even though the annoyingly arrogant hostess denied it, as if we’re too stupid to see who’s cooking behind the counter). They urgently need to be kicked out, before someone goes down with food poisoning. And a new manager would also be useful, if this place is to remain open. Will not be returning here for the foreseeable future.

We're regulars. Food was great and the place was the busiest we've seen it for some time. My only niggle was being asked three times how our main course was. Once is enough. It became a little intrusive to be interrupted repeatedly. Once per course is enough.
