The best restaurants serving Default food in St. Bride's Major The Vale of Glamorgan South East

Went here for Sunday lunch with my husband and son. We were seated down stairs which was very intimate and cosy. The welcome was lovely and the young man serving us down stairs very very polite. There was no child's menu on show but they did have a selection for my son to choose from. Myself and husband both had the belly pork and we couldn't fault at all. Selection of wines was beautiful too. Will definitely go back. Thank you.

We called into the Mezze as an impromptu visit. We were greeted by a friendly landlady who served our drinks which were reasonably priced. The Butty Bach was a real good pint. To eat we ordered Humus which came with fresh homemade bread, Sucuk (spicy sausage) , Mixed grill. When the food came out the landlord also gave us a selection of cold Mezze on the house which was, Tzatziki, shaksouka, and a beetroot slaw. We ordered a side of fries but really didn't need them as the portions were very generous. Thank you for your hospitality we will definitely be back and will recommend to family and friends.

Good food with good staff.We enjoyed our meals here the place is clean with great service with staff that are helpfull.

Been here a couple of times very good prices the food was good but the staff are great always have a nice coffee here

An excellent menu, in a lovely location and the nicest front of house team that make everyone feel like family. Frolics attention to detail is awesome, every table is laid with fresh linen, a rotating menu of favourites and specials, and out of this world service make it our favourite restaurant bar none.

First time visiting here. Lovely place and very clean. We had gammon and a cheesy flatbread with chicken - couldn't fault the food, absolutely gorgeous!! Staff were friendly enough but I feel a smile or two would improve the welcome

Lovely food and lovely old fashioned pub. The guy was on his own doing everything serving, taking orders, cooking but he did an excellent job under really trying circumstances. All four of us enjoyed our food and will definitely be going back, we went because our first visit was for an excellent Sunday roast and our second visit didn’t disappoint.

My daughter & I popped here after a short drive. After a sudden bereavement we decided that we wanted to go somewhere quiet so that we could chat. The owners could not have known what we had been through but were the kindest owners that I think we’d ever met. Both of us had allergies and they went way beyond what we would have expected. Many thanks to Nico for his kindness and gentle manner with us. When we feel ready we will definitely go back and thank them for their kindness 🙂

Excellent midweek breakfast with the family on a beautiful calm morning. The service was attentive and welcoming with the Welsh breakfast that included laverbread and cockles being the star! Great coffee as well. Will definitely be visiting again.

After cycling around the vale we ending up in ignore. Had a meal at the surf shack. Very good food good prices

Used rock and scallop pop up in car park can definitely recommend. Got drinks from the pub but food being delivered to others looked good and reasonably priced

Great value set menu, food was exceptional and cooked well. Loved the roof terrace after to catch the sun

Visited The Fox, for Mother’s Day Lunch. Really nice location and bustling atmosphere with really attentive staff. Choice of roast beef, lamb or turkey . I opted for the lamb which was excellent and very tender.

Great family run pub under new management. Clean, welcoming, friendly atmosphere close to Ogmore Valley cycle track. Dogs welcome so perfect place to stop if you're out walking, but just as good for a night out with friends

Went there with my friend for a coffee and it was delicious. The person that served us was amazing, so friendly. And they take cash, which is always to be commended.
