The best restaurants serving Default food in Woolston Southampton South East

Had a el Chapo with fries and spicy chicken wings, absolutely delicious, the only problem was, not enough chicken wings, so moorish, went down lovely with a cold beer. Will definitely be using again

Goat curry, mac and cheese, rice and peas were perfect! Plantain on the side is a must. The oxtaill was decent but seemed slightly overdone and had a smokey, almost burned after taste to it but giving the benefit of the doubt that was a great one off batch. Overall highly recommended for some good Caribbean comfort food

We dropped in for breakfast and coffee. The place looked cute there were a few other patrons but it was not overly busy. We sat down and the long blonde haired waitress brought over two menus. We made our choice and waited to order . She stood at the counter and chatted with a girl working behind the counter . After ten minutes or so she went to another table and took their order. Then she went back to the counter and continued to chat. I made eye contact with her, but no interest on her part. Eventually we left. Not impressive. I hope her chat was enjoyable.

Food and staff were great, and friendly. The restaurant was clean but gets a bit busy at peak times so I squeezed into a corner but apart from that I’d recommend it to anyone passing.

A cracking breakfast at lunchtime, recommended by my Supplier. Fast efficient friendly service. Great plate of sausage, bacon, egg, bread, hash brown, beans, mushroom and builder tea. swopped out the tomato for more mushrooms. Only thing missing was black pudding.

This is a really lovely restaurant bringing something different to Woolston amongst the endless kebab shops and indians. It offers both eat in and takeaway - we opted to dine in and were met with great service as the father and son who run it are really friendly. Its fantastic value with small prices for good quality and large portions. Fresh ingredients and cooked really well.

Took the punt and tried this place for first time tonight. Pretty disappointing. Madras tasted like tomato soup and Pathia wasn’t much better. Pool of water in with the rice and sagaloo looked and tasted like it had just came out a blender. Gutted

I've tried this cocktail bar 1st time and it will be the last too! I chose an Espresso Martini but was told I couldn't have it because the coffee machine was closed already (21:30pm), I went for a mojito, awful!!! So sour and plain, hardly any taste of lime just washed out water with mint... and it's 10£!! Staff were miserable, turning off decorating lights in a way of "kicking out" costumers and very miserable service, they obviously don't want to be there. I will definitely not be coming back!

Had a lovely stay thank you room was very clean and bed comfortable, we used the shared toilet and bathroom which were both immaculate Ideal location for city centre and bus stop right outside Walked to Annie’s cafe for breakfast wich was very good (vegetarian) Looking forward to staying again.
