This is a really lovely restaurant bringing something different to Woolston amongst the endless kebab shops and indians. It offers both eat in and takeaway - we opted to dine in and were met with great service as the father and son who run it are really friendly. Its fantastic value with small prices for good quality and large portions. Fresh ingredients and cooked really well.

This is great pizza. End of. We've not been to the restaurant yet, only had pizza delivery. But each time it has been really tasty pizza - not that doughy tasteless stuff you get from the big names, but proper oven cooked pizza, in which every morsel is delightful, not just the bits with sauce on them. One quibble though. On the last order, Just Eat said it would be 30 min to an hour, and as they accepted the delivery, Bella Roma changed this to an hour and a half to two hours. Fair enough. But then with no further change in information we had a knock at the door after an hour, when we weren't ready, with the pizza. About ten minutes after delivery a text arrived to say the food was on the way. Bit of a cock up at the shop no doubt, but such things do have an impact on the customer. If you're not going to deliver within the time slot, either too late or too early, it is really helpful to let the customer know. Timing of the delivery is all part of the package.

Fresh food with generous pasta portion sizes, nice atmosphere however, very dry and could hardly taste any sauce/ ingredients. Will be returning to try their pizza.

We keep returning to Bella Roma so we can work our way through the menu. The food is excellent and the service is too. You can eat in or take away, there is also online ordering. We take lots of family and friends there. Lovely

Ordered as a take away this evening, and the food arrived before the allocated time and was nice and hot. The Calamari was so tender, just beautifully cooked. A huge bowl of olives, the rest of those will keep for tomorrow. The Penne al pesto in a creamy basil sauce was absolutely delicious. So so creamy which we loved, just couldn’t get enough of that at all and we’ll certainly be having that again. And finally the Rigatoni allo spezzatino had that lovely rich authentic sauce and the slow cooked beef cubes just melted in the mouth. We love Italian, and Bella Roma has to be one of the nicest authentic flavours around. Thank you.

Starters were nice - garlic bread was lukewarm but nice once heated. Main courses were tasty but VERY dry

Ordered a takeaway for the first time. Very impressed. Food was hot, tasty and well presented. We will definately be back,theres loads more dishes to try.

We were so happy with our take out orders. Calzone, Cannelloni and Lasagna where beautifully cooked with all the original Italian sauces that brought us back to those meals in Nápoles. Although, next time I would order garlic bread bruschetta instead of the pizza dough one. Only suggestions is the portions are not big as we used to from Italian family, so if you are really hungry will need to order 2 meals.

Absolutely beautiful authentic Italian food. I had a pizza and pumpkin ravioli and I was blown away! Really great value for money and the service from both Kristian and Rino was outstanding and more than welcoming. Will absolutely be ordering again and can’t recommend enough!!

Fantastic food for New Year’s Eve. Calzone, Carne Pizza, margarita, meatballs and spaghetti, chicken skewers and garlic pizza all absolutely lovely. Can only recommend this place more and more. Can’t wait for our next round of Italian. 5 star for sure.

Proper Italian, really delicious authentic food. The Arancini balls were amazing. You can see where they cook so you know it’s clean! Really friendly service, I don’t have a negative thing to say about the place. I can’t wait until we’re able to dine in again so we can visit at lunchtimes.
