No64 in Southampton

Visited this bar on our last night in shanklin! Shame as what a great place! Cocktails were wonderful especially the Caramel Saltini so good!! Nice staff happy to chat about what went into the Cocktails & great to watch them being made up. On leaving asked for bill charged for one Amstel 😲 pointed out that a good deal more than Amstel was drunk! 10% discount for my honesty! Great place try it especially the Caramel Saltini!!! Loved the toilets aswell 😂

The cocktails were really good however it took 25 mins to get our first drink. There was a lot of work put into them but 25 mins isn’t acceptable to me. Not a great atmosphere and unsure why but I didn’t feel it to be that welcoming despite the staff being very nice Lots of screaming young children which I think were associated with the owners in the bar but it didn’t really set a great tone for the lack atmosphere as I mentioned above. Wouldn’t visit again unfortunately

Visited this bar twice during our 3 night break - Shout out to Charlene who was fantastic, even calling us on the phone when a free table (the bar was full when we first wanted a drink). Good choice of music in the bar too! Porn star Martini and Espresso Martini were my faves and happy hour 5-7pm

We had a deal from the price is wight anti-pasta plater & cocktails , it exceeded our expectations. The drinks were ok but the platter was excellent. It’s a nice cocktail bar close to the old village in Shanklin. We hope to be back.

We had a booking for Wednesday evening which was confirmed via email. However, when we arrived for our post dinner drink the place was closed! I sent them a message on Instagram querying this and got no response.

We visited last night intending to stay an hour and ended up staying until they closed. Great cocktails, great service and an all round lovely bar..

Just popped in as we were staying in the town had expresso martini and mojito"s They were really good, friendly staff and by the why thought the cocktails were great value for money so please don't change that cheers to the team

Absolute disgrace, took nearly half an hour for our drinks to come, didnt even get them all together and the bar staff dont seem to care, either get staff who can do the job with some sort of passion or get out of hospitality!!!!

Visited No64 a couple of weeks ago and had a great experience sampling their cocktails, and just by chance my visit coincided with the No64 happy hour. There were plenty of drinks to choose from, table service was good, we were served by a very pleasant lady. Pleasant surroundings. Go on give it a go, suggest you book to avoid disappointment.

My husband and I popped into this bar on Friday evening prior to going for a meal. Wow, what excellent service and above all feeling safe in the current environment. We both enjoyed Armaretto Sour, delicious, when it was time to leave we enquired if we could come back after our meal. Without hesitation they checked their table reservations and booked us inOn returning we were warmly welcomed and so commenced our Cocktails adventure. Excellent service, warm and friendly staff and just a great place to experience our first ever cocktail experience. Highly recommended.

Wow,we came here after dinner on a Saturday and I had the best cocktail I have ever had - I am out in bars in London frequently and have never had a cocktail that tasted so good - I am not even a fan of salted caramel but if you go there, and you like sweet cocktails, this is a dessert in its own right and just gorgeous - creamy with a hint of baileys, caramel and chocolate.The bar itself had a great vibe,good music and excellent staff - service was top notch.Well worth a visit and not just for the youngsters, we are in late 40’s/ early 50’s and felt very comfortable.

Great staff. We came on Thursday 27 August. The host was charming & attentive & could be seen diligently making sure safety measures were followed. Lovely bar. Perfect for a quiet drink before dinner.

Arrived at Bar 64, lovely welcome by the friendly staff, great atmosphere. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. I’m very fussy with cocktails, I have to stay they were amazing, have been before and will definitely be back agin

Great bar! Went for a ladies of the family pre dinner cocktail and this cute bar did not disappoint. It was full of different groups including a couple of hen dos. Really nicely decorated and then a wonderful Martini tee was created. So beautiful the staff clearly take pride in there cocktail making skills and the taste didn’t disappoint. Well worth a visit, they were even happy to mix and match on the cocktail tree which helped to suit all tastes, well fine team great service wonderful drinks and beautiful bar

This is a mixed review. I booked this for a special birthday treat for myself and friends on a weekend away to the IOW admittedly had not been to the venue before.Pre communication was excellent and accomodating to my specific dietary requests.On arrival for our booked afternoon tea at 1pm, there was no evidence of the booking and the staff did not really seem to know what was going on. We were sat down and left to sit for a while. I had to ask on several occasions what was happening and things just seemed disorganised. I would have expected a table laid etc prior to arrival but it wasn't. Our booking was found listed for an incorrect time at 2pm which was ironic as was told upon booking had to be 1pm! The afternoon tea was lacking in substance and style, the scones were nice though and they had catered for dairy/gluten free but it lacked imagination and value for money.The cocktail making was fabulous on the otherhand with the mixologist taking our requests to adapt the cocktail recipes in his stride and we could not fault this element of the experience.Nice venue.To be fair they also adjusted the price as two of our party dropped out last minute.

My daughter booked a cocktail package, and a Prosecco and food package to celebrate her 21st birthday. The cocktails and food were both delicious. Scott the Manager and his staff were friendly and extremely helpful.We’ll definitely be returning. Probably during an early evening on Friday or Saturday when they do happy hour 2 for 1 cocktails! LOL

Great afternoon tea, good value for money and excellent attentive service. Attention to detail was great. Have a look on the price is Wight website for a good deal :-)

My wife and I, have been there one day before our anniversary and We enjoyed so much that We decided to be there in our anniversary for the afternoon tea. We were received with a big welcome and amazing table. We are really thankful for all staff that made our first wedding anniversary so special.

We found this great cocktail bar last year and come here every night before eating, it is very comfortable and somewhere different from pubs, the staff are excellent and Kieron the lad who has served us most evenings this year has been a real joy, very friendly and nothing too much trouble, makes everything better when the staff are so friendly, for an early or late drink, really lovely cocktails at very reasonable prices, and some live music this is the place to go, good luck to all those at No 64 and thank you for being there !!!!!

Went here a couple of times while we were in Shanklin, the second time we went in Happy Hour time. Two cocktails for £8 and can recommend "sex on the beach" and "mojito", both very good. Most of the staff were friendly and happy.

Had an amazing pre-show cocktails and dessert time here. Service was a little slow, as they were also hosting a hen night/stag party, so a complimentary bottle of prosecco was offered whilst we were waiting, a lovely touch, cocktails and desserts were amazing, so good we went back for after show cocktails! Well worth the money. Will be back.

My husband and I have just returned from our first visit to the isle of wight and No64 made the weekend for us, all the staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome and even recommended places to see whilst there. the meat and cheese boards were lovely and the cocktails were even better. We came 3rd in the quiz and won afternoon tea there, but unfortunately it was our last night, but they happily exchanged the prize for free cocktails! I would really recommend No 64. Thanks guys.

Excellent venue, very classy, clean and very well presented. The staff are superb, very friendly, helpful and polite, I have no doubt the manager expects high standards from his/her staff and they deliver exactly that. Although relatively small in size, this venue would not be out of place in central London and has a cosmopolitan feel about it. Other bars etc on the Island should take note and attempt to bring themselves up to date and the standard set by No 64.

Had a lovely evening at No 64 Staff really polite and friendly , very relaxing atmosphere. Will be visiting again on our next trip to Shanklin

Been here a few times and went this weekend before visiting Shanklin Theatre. Wait at bar was unbelievably long and would be acceptable if the bar staff hadn’t ignored people waiting to be served and just waited on the regulars turning up whenever. Spent 15 mins waiting for a drink while others walked straight in and were served. Tried this bar a few times and won’t be back.

Came here with my daughter for Christmas treat , the afternoon tea was lovely plus amazing cocktails! Nice atmosphere, great service and staff. Will be back

A very good breakfast and excellent sociable staff. Pleasant views out over the Solent is an added bonus. Highly recommended

We came here for our Christmas party and shared a porn star martini tree. The cocktails were delicious and the hospitality we received was next level. We were given bread and cheese, mince pies complimentary , friendly smiles and a laugh as well all in one. Staff checked up on us several times to make sure we were OK and looked after us well. We also tried some Christmas cocktails after and they were delicious. I love this place and will definitely be back.

Fresh and attractive decor - very pleasing on the eye. We sat in a quiet alcove and enjoyed delicious cocktails and sandwiches.

I am very disappointed with N64. A lot of people in my home town recommended it and I was excited to bring my friends over for a night of cocktails which were highly rated. On arrival there were no available tables but we were happy to stand and wait at the bar for cocktails. It took over an hour for the mixologists to even acknowledge we were there and found the pace making each drink was extremely slow. A group of guys were even served before us as they had thought the duration we were waiting we may have already had at least 2 rounds. By the time we finally sat to have our drinks the waiter brought them over and made a rude remark that he had to run back and forth a few times to mkd payments, despite acknowledging our wait time and poor experience. He was blunt and rude and unfortunately not me or my friends be coming back here in a heart beat.

On arrival we were told due to two large groups that food would be unavailable for half an hour.

Came on a night out here on Tuesday with my sister and found a super place to have the most wonderful cocktails! The Interior is sophisticated without being snotty and very comfortable with just the right mood (created by perfect lighting ) Service from Neil behind the bar was second to none and the cocktails were perfect! Tried the Pornstar Martini and ended up doing a photo shoot for their new afternoon tea and cocktail promotion which is fantastic! Really worth coming in and ordering as not too much but a good variety of cakes and sandwiches and certainly filling without the “feeling stuffed” factor. Very well looked after by staff and locals and would certainly recommend a visit if you’re popping to Shanklin during the day or night. Perfect for a girls night out!! Or a couples evening before or after a meal. Wish it were in my local town and needs supporting more by locals during the week! Thank you for a great night x

Just been for a few days to the Isle of Wight found your Excellant Bar. Super decor relaxing Atmosphere and great service. Will certainly come again next time we visit.

Had a lovely couple of evenings at this lovely stylish bar. Great service and selection of drinks, fantastic cocktails. Great live music on the Friday and Saturday nights we were there. Hope to be back again soon.

Only had a drink, though the service and friendliness of the staff was exceptional . The venue was clean and modern and the decor was Pleasant to the eye.

Went here with my husband on bank holiday monday. We had a Price is Wight voucher and we had the Grand Deli with a cocktail and it was delicious. Would definitely go again. Great service, great chilled atmosphere.

Lovely place, amazing cocktails, incredible deli, laid back and chilled environment, perfect for families and an adult evening out. Will definitely come again. Scott was rocking!!

Have been to Shanklin a few times but never tried this place as assumed it would be expensive. However everything was closed and they had sharing platters which seemed reasonable. We were so glad we tried it, the food was great and the cocktails were amazing and well priced. The staff in General were fab but we went back the next 2 nights and Alex made us up various cocktails all tasting awesome. He was great to chat to and he made it really enjoyable to keep going back. Its also nice and cosy with a great atmosphere.

Having visited this bar on a couple of occasions,prior to an organised private event, I was so impressed yet again by the friendly staff, excellent cocktails and tasty bar food . Always thoroughly enjoy my evenings here , just wish I lived nearer !

Had a weekend on the I.O.W and was recommended this place by a family member, so booked via email, we turned up slightly late but was shown to our seating area, at the beginning there was a little confusion but once we got over that we had such a good evening we then decided to go back on the Saturday night. Every single staff member that was working those nights were brilliant, especially Alex, who helped and who made the amazing Caramel Saltini. I just want to thank them all for being so amazing with us and making my hen-do as amazing as it was!

I can't really criticise anything about this place. Despite us being very casually dressed we were immediately welcomed. They do table service, and service was attentive and knowledgable. They do their own unique cocktails, but also the usual classics. The sharing platter was a great little mixture of food. Everything was reasonably priced given the type of food/drink, and even up until the moment we left the staff were overtly friendly and chatty. We'd definitely go back.

Been here a couple of times now and love it, very stylish now and great furnishings. Love that it’s upmarket but still retains charm good staff great cocktails loved watching the bar staff mix them.

Popped into this lovely bar while checking out what was on at Shanklin Theatre (based next door). Just going to have a glass of wine but staff asked if we'd like one of their meze...£20 for 2 glasses of very tasty wine plus a generous platter of meats, cheeses, olives and bread. Really tasty and excellent value! Well worth repeat visits.

Lovely Bar with beautiful cocktails & amazing food ! N64 has a new menu which includes Vegetarian & Vegan platters I recommend them - This place is a must go if you’re visiting Shanklin.

Wow what can I say.... after many trips to Shanklin I have to say that this was the most enjoyable pub that we visited. We had a lovely platter for lunch one day and then visited again in the evening for some amazing cocktails and live entertainment. I would highly recommend to anyone who is visiting the IOW to visit this bar! Fantastic atmosphere and fantastic food and drink.

What a lovely decorated bar in Shanklin with possibly the best selection of G&T;'s/cocktails on the Island!!! Great vibe, relaxed atmosphere, somewhere 'really nice' to go in Shanklin that's clean and well looked after. Platters a great idea and perfect size. I've also been before with live music and it's got a great buzz!! As a bit of a coffee snob, the coffee is great too. Would recommend, would return, would eat & drink here again! Love how this bar promotes local IOW products too.

Found the staff to be rude/blunt, which is probably through Boredom Of not serving many people, drinks are average, wouldn’t recommend and looks like many others wouldn’t to seen as we was the only people in here , shame as in a great location being next to the theatre and in between the old village and the other shops

I have visited No 64 on a few occasions and have never been disappointed. The cocktails are amazing, always using fresh ingredients (which is a must for me when it comes to cocktails) atmosphere is lovely, chilled but buzzy at the weekends and evenings which is what we like. All staff are extremely friendly and cannot seem to do enough for us to make our visit as enjoyable as it can be. Overall, I would highly recommend a visit to No 64, whether it be for a party celebration or just for a cosy night! Love it and we will be back very soon!

Loved this place! A stylish bar with a welcoming atmosphere - this place is definitely worth a visit. The cocktails are made with great care and attention to detail, not only are they delicious, they look almost too good to drink (almost!). The surroundings are relaxing, clean and cosy. A huge selection of drinks at the bar is mesmerising and not only are the bar staff happy to give you a closer look at some of the wonderful bottles on offer they are very knowledgeable and happy to advise if you fancy trying something new. It is also very pleasing to see local gins on sale here too. If you are looking for somewhere that makes you feel relaxed, welcome and you like a personal service, then this place is for you. On a personal recommendation, I would suggest trying some of the lovely gins and delicious mixers that are on offer here, even if you are not a gin drinker, I guarantee if you speak to the bar staff and tell them what you like, they will find you one that you do! This has now become our new regular place to relax, unwind and feel a little bit special.

Myself and family are staying here for Christmas and have to say this bar is nothing like anything else around here, such a unique style and amazing choice of cocktails and Gin!! We would 100% recommend this bar! It is a popular place in Shanklin and you can totally see why! Go see for yourself!!!!

Absolutely love no 64! Cocktails are lovely and the ambience is always warm and friendly. Decor is so upmarket and trendy. Lots of choice for everyone. Can't wait to go back!

Been here a few times and each time has failed to disappoint. We are always made to feel so welcome. Yesterday we decided to get out of the office for lunch and try their food. We had a sharing platter which was spot on and served quick enough so we could get back to the office in time. We then found out we can actually pre order our lunch in advance so it's served for when we arrive, which we will definitely be doing in the future.

Amazing staff service! would 100% recommend. Drink tasted brilliant can really taste the flavours...

Fab little bar, great decor and great staff! They have a cocktail menu but are more than happy to make you something that's not listed - like a French martini dusted with gold leaf!
