The food was good, and the menu offered extensive options for those with gluten and dairy intolerances. The wine and beer selection was also impressive, with high-quality choices available. However, despite the positive reviews I had read, the service was disappointing. The staff lacked energy and enthusiasm, and unfortunately, the server who attended to us came across as aloof. Her attempt to remember our order led to one of us being served the wrong pizza, resulting in a further 10-minute wait for a replacement. To her credit, she did return with an apology and offered us a free drink. We requested a complimentary pizza, which was kindly granted. However, I was surprised to see a service charge still added to the bill—something I would have declined had I noticed at the time. When we left, most of the staff were gathered at the bar chatting, which reinforced our impression of an unwelcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately, given the overall experience, we won't be returning.

It is for me a five star experience overall. Excellent Food, Service, and Atmosphere. I had the lamb roast, the anise glazed carrots were so delicious that they didn’t taste like carrots, it was divine - each bite was moreish, as was the side of cauliflower cheese. The second time I’ve had cauliflower cheese like that as a side. And it did not disappoint. The grilled tender-stem broccoli was freshly made, cooked but crisp. I found a new love for Yorkshire pudding and the gravy that I mopped up with the pudding. I think the only slight disappointment I had, was the roast potatoes, delicious don’t get me wrong, but they were a bit hard and difficult to cut. But that didn’t take away from my dish. Compliments to the Chef. The service was on another level. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a smile and looked after. The staff did an exceptional job. .. best service I’ve had so far, truly they all were lovely and just added to our experience and atmosphere. They had live music and perfect lighting that gave a warm ambiance, which created a great atmosphere for us. I must say that made for something I had not really experienced. And it was really special. I could not contain myself as I snapped pictures of my family who enjoyed the experience thoroughly.

This was probably the most underwhelming experience I’ve had for a nice restaurant. I had the octopus which was really nice for a starter. For main I had the margarita pizza and added prosciutto. To put it into perspective I had a pizza Monday from Sainsbury’s I paid £2 for. The pizza from Sainsbury’s had a better taste and firm base. This pizza at figurati was the floppiest pizza I’ve ever had for a great life of £19. Anyway I don’t think I will be coming back any time soon. Can’t fault the staff though, they were very nice

Had a lovely meal with family for my birthday. Lovely service from Juno, excellent cocktails by Callum and the best food in Southampton from chef Tony. Will definitely be returning soon. :)

Delicious food and 5-star service! I went for my birthday and it was a great choice. The ambiance is very pleasant, you can have a conversation without having to shout.

Great location, friendly and attentive staff, lovely menu. We were a party of 8 and everyone was pleased with their meal, between us we had duck, gnocchi, sea bass and chicken Milanese. All delicious! Would highly recommend and hope to rerun soon.

Figurati has a great vibe and a very cosy feel (love the decor). We received great service from the team and our food was very high quality. They also took into account my special request as it was my partner's birthday – not all restaurants cater to this, so it was a genuine surprise and really made the evening. Would highly recommend; it's a little pricy but well, well worth it, especially for the right occasion.

The food and drinks were really good! Our family are good eaters and the portion sizes were perfect for all courses. We can respect it was a busy evening, but it took and excessively long time before any wait staff attended our table to take our order. We had to physically get up to request for someone to come and serve us at the table, even though staff presence was obvious and they didn't seem run off their feet, there were times where they would linger around but not approach our table. Despite that, I would absolutely return, the menu looked amazing, and I am looking forward to trying other options available on the menu. Compliments to the chef!

The food here is always amazing and the service is always friendly. Such a lovely atmosphere for any occasion! Previously came for a roast and today tried their main menu which did not disappoint! Thankyou & we will be back!!

The staff and atmosphere was excellent, however the food was below standard. I was served a ‘pink’ burger, however it was excellently dealt with by the manager who removed it from the bill.

Been here a couple of times and been very happy with the food both times. 1st was for Dinner during the week and had the Lasagne, was very impressed. 2nd was for Sunday lunch after seeing images of the roast. was not disapointed, only compaint on the Sunday lunch the music was a little load for a table of 6 trying to have a conversation.

Nice looking restaurant, decent food but nothing special - rather expensive for what it is (was quite glad that two out of our party of four were not drinking). Main drawback was the extremely music, more like eating in a club than a restaurant and almost impossible to have any conversation. This was for a business dinner so talking was important. Would not go again.

Can't fault the food here, or the service of the staff which was excellent. Figurati has a unique cocktail bar / clubbing vibe which I am sure works for a lot of people but if DJs and loud music aren't your thing it might not be the place for a quiet meal. We did ask for the music to be turned down a little but without success, otherwise this would have been five stars.

The fried calamari was a nice appetizer. It was served in strips. The pizza was probably best for the price of the food. I found the food unappealing. There service was nice. The music was very loud and it was hard to converse with our guests.

Had a lovely evening. Would have preferred to eat off the a la carte menu but the food on the festive menu was actually really good and catered really well for those with dietary restrictions. Service also was great- very friendly and efficient. Only criticism was that music was slightly too loud but, all in all, a really good night.

Figurati have just hosted my party of 20 celebrating my wife's 60th Birthday. I could not have asked for a better place. Every person in the party told me after how much they enjoyed the quality of the food, the atmosphere and especially the team that greeted us, served us and made us feel truly welcome. I can't speak for the restaurant most of the time, but I can say categorically to avoid their Xmas platter. An exercise in meanness that Ebenezer Scrooge would blanche at. £40 per head should get you well fed, but instead we had this: Cigarette-paper thick focaccia with the most meagre amount of prosciutto to accompany it, followed by 1-2 single-mouthful croquettes, a 'Xmas dinner' of around 3 discs of turkey roulade (would have equated to maybe half a slice of turkey breast), around 1 new potato each (not roasted) and sprouts, the joke vegetable that most people can't stand. For dessert one spoonful of chocolate mousse splatted onto a plate (not even a quenelle). £40 for a meal that would have cost pennies to make, around 40 of us there, so £1,600 spent, plus drinks so make that probably £2,600. An absolute rip-off, will not be going back.

Avoid the Christmas menu! The portions are so ridiculously small. Anywhere that thinks 1x pig in blanket per person is acceptable needs avoiding. The 1cm x 1cm sq of hammock each was awful, 2x 50c peice discs of turkey were OK but needed 20x of them to make an actual portion and then you say there will be garlic baby potatoes people don't expect these tiny potatoes cut into quarters to make it look mare than 2 actual baby potatoes each. Will never set foot in this place again because I'm so disappointed. Oh also far to loud to have any conversation.

Came in on Sunday for a roast with friends. The atmosphere is lovely with a live singer. Food was delicious, service was great and the bar tender Calum went above and beyond for us thank you. We will be back soon!!

First visit to Figurati after reading reviews. We were not disappointed at all. Service, food and atmosphere were all as expected. Very good all round. Reviews were spot on. First time coming here for dinner and it was lovely. Not packed with people, friendly staff and the food was amazing. Juno served us and was extremely helpful. Me and my partner will definitely be going again soon!

First time at Figurati, we were pleasantly surprised, it was a lovely restaurant, the cocktails were very good and the Sunday lunch was excellent. My only criticism is that the service, especially for drinks was slow. My husband ended up going up to the bar to order drinks, but apart from that minor inconvenience, we all really enjoyed our meals. Will return

From arriving at Figurati we were greeted with a lovely smile , my daughter the birthday girl was congratulated and then we were shown to our table. Our server, Juno, introduced himself and very calmly and considered took our drinks orders and returned. Food orders taken with great care and always ensuring all was correct. He had a great way about him, very professional, calm, confident and considered at all times. He was very attentive and we didn’t ever go without a full glass. My husband arrived as a surprise as he had flown in from abroad and a seat was made for him and extra drinks etc sorted immediately. The food was absolutely fabulous and all meals were so tasty as well as the mock tails which the girls had in abundance. A massive thank you to everyone and especially Juno for making this a very special birthday.

It's WAY TOO LOUD. I cannot hear anyone on my table. I'm pretty sure the volumes exceed safe working levels for the poor staff who should probably go get their ears tested. Yes the food was excellent, good drinks, nice staff but this was completely overshadowed by the music volume. I don't intend to return unless that's sorted.

This contemporary pub had creative and excellent food. However, the sever was focused only on a specific table. We felt negligent because he/she gave us the menu and kept us waiting without paying attention. Even though it was a leisurely time with only three tables. I read a many positive review here but it's so let us down. They reply me below. Do they mean I'm a liar? I think this is a modern pub with bars and restaurants, it's open until 11pm without a break. I made a reservation for my half's birthday lunch at 1:30 on February 1st. I am very displeased with their response. I can prove the pre-booking fee of the card statement and the receipt.

Lovely atmosphere, wonderful service, delicious food. I definitely recommend for a date night or special outing.

Music was banging, very great choice and the way the staff were was excellent. Recommend the trout , Carpaccio and the octopus 🦑!!! Will come back again! It was to celebrate a special occasion and the staff went far beyond expectations with a nice bottle of bubbly and beautiful dessert. Thankyou again!!

We came to try the roast and enjoyed it very much. However we did not expect live music at 12pm on a Sunday. It was way too loud and we couldn’t hear each other talk. We almost skipped dessert because of it! It is difficult for my partner who doesn’t hear well as it is so this made it very difficult for him. We would come back but I would definitely check if there would be live music next time to avoid it.

An amazing restaurant, food and service were incredible and the staff were very accommodating, the Bolognese and garlic bread were the best I've ever had. Great views of the Southampton waterfront and an amazing live singer. They even gave me a slice of extremely tasty cake for my birthday which I was not expecting. Very nice staff and fast service. We made a booking for our anniversary and they offer us Two glass of prosecco, which is very nice from them. We had "Arancini" that were nice but from me that I am from Sicily I was expecting something more similar. Hamburger was average standard, fries Amazing and Pizza Taste was great but the dough should be more done, product used for It are High standard, mozzarella and mushroom top! If you make the booking online during the week end make sure you check your bill, because you pay 5£ each booking that should be deducted from your final bill but they didn't to us and We paid full price. For the rest is a nice place to try if you are around Southampton.

It was my first time at Figuratis after wanting to visit for a while. Unfortunately we won't be rushing back. The positive is that the wine was lovely, reasonably priced and the location is great. Unfortunately the service, despite there only being around 6 other tables occupied in the restaurant wasn't good. The wait staff were thoroughly lovely.....when they actually came over. Ourselves and another table outside felt completely forgotten about. After the mains, my husband was contemplating a dessert, and probably another bottle of wine...but after 40 minutes of sitting looking at our empty main course plates, we went inside to ask if anyone would like to bring us the bill instead. The other table next to us had to go inside to ask for the dessert menu...and even then, were left waiting to look at it for over half an hour before they had to go and find a waitress to take their order. I could understand it if they were busy, but the staff were either setting up empty tables or standing around. It was a midweek night and quiet. I also found the food tasty, good portions, but really salty, both starter and main. When I mentioned this to the waitress, she said 'oh everyone says that!'.....ummm...maybe the chef could take the feedback onboard? Shame, I was looking forward to it.

We went for Sunday lunch and although the service was good the food wasn’t. The vegetables and potatoes were bland, undercooked and tasteless and the beef was cold, chewy, tasteless and very fatty. Pretty much all of the food was lukewarm or cold. Will not be going back for Sunday roast!

Cocktails were amazing, and food was freshly prepared. For me it was way too loud. I couldn't hear the person opposite but I'm sure that's an age think. All in all though really good.

The best carbonara I’ve had in any restaurant! It’s a lovely location outlooking the water and being able to see all the boats. Friendly staff and all meals at our table were delicious. Favourite spot for a nice dinner in Ocean Village.

We met friends, that we hadn't seen for ages and had a wonderful lunch We all enjoyed it tremulously. We enjoyed the singer, but wished our table had been a little bit further away.

The restaurant’s location by the bay raised expectations for a wider selection of fish dishes, but the menu was quite limited in this regard. I opted for a salad as both my starter and main course (the latter being a larger portion); however, both were disappointingly small, and the mayonnaise-based dressing was not what I would typically expect from an establishment presenting itself as Italian. My son had a pizza, which unfortunately seemed pre-made and did not meet the standard of what I usually enjoy in Italian-style restaurants in the UK. In terms of service, while some of the staff were polite, there were moments where we felt uncomfortable making requests. We had initially asked to change tables due to the heat, and though accommodated, the waitress seemed visibly irritated by the request. Later, surrounded by smokers, we hesitated to ask to move again, fearing it might be met with a similar response. Overall, the experience left much to be desired both in terms of food and atmosphere.

Nice looking restaurant and that’s about as far as it goes for the positives. Terrible service, 25 minute wait for two drinks in a half empty restaurant. One came out wrong but did not want to send it back and wait another 25 minutes! Food was mediocre at best, pasta itself was nice but the entire dish… not great at all. £18 for a carbonara that I could cook at home to a higher standard. Bitter burnt garlic bread. I simply would not visit again.

I was surprised that the food was so bad (I can't even say average). It was swimming in fat, I couldn't finish my main course. The prawns in my pasta were absolutely disgusting. The service was poor. It was noisy. Our table was dirty. We paid almost £100 for 2 people for the food that we did not like (the bottle of wine was £34 and it was just drinkable). I am now feeling sick, drinking peppermint tea in an attempt to digest what I ate. Never again!

The service was poor. We felt rushed when having starters, after that nobody seem to bother. The bill did not reflect deposit, that we had to ask to have it deducted. Overall, disappointing.

We booked this restaurant for a business lunch and were really pleased that we did. The location is perfect, especially on a sunny day when there was a choice of being inside or sitting out under the umbrellas with a lovely view of the marina. The decor inside is modern and appealing. We decided to sit inside and browsed the menus which offer an excellent choice at reasonable prices. We chose the chicken Milenese and spaghetti carbonara. Whilst we were waiting we ordered drinks, garlic bread and the smoked and caramelised nuts which were delicious, we liked the nuts so much we took another portion home. Our meals were beautifully presented and delicious. We also had lemon sorbet (you get 3 balls which is a lot) and Figurati Rocher both of which were excellent. The service was friendly and professional. Would highly recommend and return.

Had dinner with my mum and sister at Figurati last night. We absolutely loved our experience and will definitely be returning. We all had the steak, while it may be a little pricey, we all agreed that the quality of food was worth it and could definitely tell that it was top quality meat. My mum really enjoyed the red wine sauce while I myself thought the the cheese sauce was gorgeous. Paired with the truffle fries we were definitely left satisfied. The restaurant itself has a very nice and authentic atmosphere, the staff were lovely and service was on par. We will definitely be visiting again.

Went on Sunday and the menu had a small selection of Italian dishes and then roasts. We ordered a roast pork and roast lamb. Service was a little off, such as the insistence on taking the order for two drinks then coming back to take the order for two meals. Veg was well cooked but the meats were dreadful. The pork was overcooked and very dry. The lamb was not recognisable as lamb either in appearance or taste.

We had a lovely meal here. It was a little noisy when we first arrived due to music and just lots of people chatting. My trout was delicious. (As were the other meals). Reasonably priced food; lovely, friendly staff. We parked over the road and walked over. Would definitely come back again!

The best garlic bread ever - but also the worst "lasagne" I've ever had. I don't really think it should be called lasagna. Tasteless meat chunks and chewy two chewy pasta sheets. Little to no saucy. Gross. Great service though!

Bad Experience With Figurati - No Communication or Follow-through. I recently went through the hiring process with Figurati and had a very disappointing experience that has left a bad taste in my mouth. After submitting my application, I was invited to come in for a 2-hour trail shift. I took time out of my schedule to come in and complete the shift, with the understanding that I would hear back from them within a week about next steps. The whole vibe at Figurati was nice, and the staff I interacted with were friendly and welcoming. However, this seemed to be just a façade, as after a week passed with no communication from them, I followed up via call. This lack of follow-through and ghosting felt incredibly disrespectful of my time. If I was not the right fit for the role, the least Figurati could have done was send a brief email, message and or call letting me know. Instead, I was left wondering what happened and feeling like my time was completely wasted. I understand that hiring can be a busy and complex process, but that is no excuse for such poor candidate experience; I am sharing this review in the hopes that Figurati will take a hard look at their hiring practices and find ways to improve their communication and follow-through with candidates. Job seekers deserve respect, transparency and timely updates, even if they are not selected, my experience has been the opposite of that, and I would caution others against going through Figurati's hiring process unless significant changes are made.

Lovely, delicious meal with excellent service. Unfortunately we went on a Monday afternoon as a birthday treat so it was rather quiet.

The restaurant is pricey but the food was terribly bland and mediocre. Cocktails were exceptional, but the food was awful. The atmosphere is no on par with other restaurants, very noisy and cramped. I'd recommend going to the harbour hotel restaurant, or the Portuguese restaurant in Bedford place for quality food that justifies the price.

I can't think of a single negative point. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left we had an amazing service. The food is amazing. I highly recommend the octopus.

Even though we were the first ones there the restaurant had a lovely calm atmosphere. Several other guests arrived later and gave the place a buzz.

Served by a lovely friendly waitress our only negative was the front of house lady. Not only did she not greet us with a hello, she didn’t smile once. Not how to greet people entering your restaurant. We were tempted to leave. It thankfully wasn’t personal, she greeted everyone like that until some friends of here’d arrived , who got an enormous hug!

Holly was an excellent waitress and very helpful. She had a great personality and always had a smile on her face even though she was busy serving other customers.

I understand that you pay for the view but the food was poor. There was a ‘different chef’ and i had noodle carbonara. There can be alot of improvement to the food if you are paying the premium. The staff were very attentive and did discuss the issue.

Quiet lunch as raining & dull, very cool inside as aircon on, asked to turn off as cold but didn't respond. Took ages to take order & quite expensive.

Visited here before a party had arrived. Bar tender was nice and waiters were helpful. Crumbs were behind our seats which we had booked in advance. I did ask for a window seat and couldn’t get it but this is understandable due to a party coming in. We ordered pizza and chicken and the chicken came out with blood sacs in it and was barely cooked. My girlfriend rightfully asked to return it and what followed was unfriendly staff seemingly talking about us for the next 20 minutes. We were sat in front of the chefs window and one of the chefs simply sat death staring me like we had committed some heinous crime. It wasn’t that deep, we were just unhappy with the chicken. The death stares from this one chef continued followed by pointing and sh*t talking behind our back. Obviously this was uncomfortable so I asked to leave and just pay for the drinks. The manager? was nice enough to allow us to not pay for drinks when we asked to leave. Kudos to her. In short, most of the waiters and bartenders were nice and helpful. But asking to return a dish shouldn’t result in chefs and some waiters throwing a huge fit. Death starring was also weird

Nice view and wait staff (Junos?) were fabulous. Food and wine were lovely, although if you are a bit fussy, the menu might be a bit too funky. I loved it, but worth reading if you are.

The food was quite authentic and the atmosphere was lovely. They had a DJ but it was not too loud. Reasonably priced food and wine and it has a great view overlooking the harbour. We will definitely go back.

Figurati is in a brilliant location overlooking the marina. We went for Sunday lunch and it did not dissapoint. Very generous portion sizes and the food was delicious. Price wise it was very reasonable and the service was brilliant. Were were pleasantly surprised to find they had live music, which created a brilliant atmosphere. Will definitely be returning.

Amazing food and service! Would recommend to everyone! The pasta dishes, lamb special, and calamari were all amazing and great portion sizes.
