Our server was Faruk and all the servers were very friendly. Food was delicious and we'll definitely be back again. Cater very well to vegans. Will definitely order more next time!

We have been here several times. Food has always been incredible. Meat is top class, my favourite salad is Fattoush which has a mouth watering blend of flavours. The staff are friendly and they keep checking on us to see if everything is good. If you want an authentic middle Eastern restaurant, then this is the place to visit.

From the moment you enter the restaurant you are made to feel like a long lost friend. This is the home you want to come back to. Once we were seated the menu was explained to us by the attentive and knowledgeable staff. When the food arrived it was genuinely a taste sensation and the portions were fantastic. Beity is a hidden gem.

To the people who are spending their money at this restaurant: Be aware that your money goes mostly to the dirty pocket of the unethical, exploitative owner of the restaurant, Abdul Hamid or Abs. He breaches all labor laws to make more profit, underpaying and delaying salary payment without justification. In my case, he still has to pay about 520£ after 4 months, though I'm hopeless if he is going to do it after all. Moreover, to ensure that he can continue his heinous practice, he decidedly refuses to sign a contract with most of the employees, nor does he regularly issue pay slips. If you want to spend your money this way, that's your choice, but be well-informed how your money is being spent.

Poor quality food and terrible service. Not even warm. Called the server and the chef, but they didnt even bother acknowledging and said this is normally how we serve. Asked about "beity" and wrongly guided. Later on they gave us off 10% on the bill but it was tasteless food for the £70 we spent (after discount). Wouldn't recommend.

Good place for a Lebanese Shawarma. A bit dry, still authentic. So was the Baklava, few of the tastiest around. Did not like the Kabsa rice, but the chicken was good.

After being seated in a nearly empty restaurant (2 other tables being used) we waited 20 minutes for drinks and one and a half hours for starters. The food was mediocre and warm.....not hot. The service was slow and sparce. We were not asked if we wanted more drinks or if everything was OK at anytime. The waitress eventually asked if we would like the bill but my son informed her we would like the table cleared and our desserts served that were part of the set meal. The great atmosphere that is advertised was music played too loud for us to easily talk on our table of 7. We wouldn't recommend or return. Possibly our worst experience of eating out!

Staff was lovely and the food was just delicious at the least definitely recommended for others as staff was just so friendly and helpful to me even though I had a language barrier I still got what I want and more.

Our party of 4 came for a birthday lunch. The service was friendly. We were also gifted a complimentary dessert to celebrate my birthday. We come here often because the food is fresh and flavoursome. I highly recommend Beity.

Amazing food in this lovely Lebanese place. Had the wraps and it’s definitely a must. Also the humous was so nice and fresh. Special shoutout to Faruk who waited on us, and also gave us complementary dessert. Would definitely go again.

We come here frequently as we love it. The food is exceptional (we love the chicken and fattoush in particular) and we will be returning without a doubt (My partner grew up eating a lot of Lebanese food and wants me to point out that even she thinks it's great)

The food was wonderful. The mixed grill, the baklawa and shawarma were awesome. Most importantly the service from Lizzie was really good. She was kind and friendly and generous too. We got a complementary baklawa and some Garlic sauce. The ambience especially the condition of the restaurant can be improved.

We went to Beity for an early dinner, to save cooking when we got home. We had 4 starters betwwen us, to get a better range of flavours than 2 mains - a good decision. J's favourite was Foul Moudammas, while T voted for Batata Harra - both were very flavourful. It was easy to choose 4 vegetarian options - vegan was well marked, too. Topped off with a very good wine, and fun people-watching from the large windows. Adam was our very friendly server, aided by colleagues Anubhav, Sara & Lizzie - thank to all of them for making a lovely end to a busy day.

The worst experience I have ever experienced dining, what started of as funny soon became a frustrating experience. - ordered drinks after we had ordered the food, we had to ask were the drinks where they had been forgotten The starter arrived and was OK, to say the least, then the fun and games began. One of the mains came to the table luke warm, and nothing followed meaning my friend had to start eating without me, then halfway through, the waiter came and said oh sorry that's not your meal, but it's OK just eat it. They then proceeded to take a plate of food from another diners table and hand it to us before taking that meal again back to the other table. Another meal was placed on the other diners table for about 3 minutes, then they came and took the food from that table and paced it on ours. That's when we decided we would not eat here and just pay for the beers and the wrongly prepared lemonade....I mean, come on!

My first Lebanese meal with hubby and son. My son recommended this lovely restaurant for dinner tonight as he had tried their lunch menu last year and all 3 of us enjoyed a scrumptious meal tonight. We ordered a mix grill, mixed shawarma, Beity kabsah, falafels& stayed and everything was delicious . I don’t know the name of the waitress who served us but she was very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much bother to her even though I changed my mind 2x if I should have the Lebanese rice or bread to go with my main dish, . I would have given the atmosphere 5star had the lighting been brighter but it was alittle dim and I found reading the menu alittle bit hard- hence awarded you the 4 stars

I went to Beity restaurant with 16 other people from the Southampton Council of Faiths, to celebrate the group’s annual dinner & social networking. We were looked after hand & foot by the manger/owner & his team. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The food choices were as varied as they were delicious, with cold & warm starters and mains to satisfy both meat & vegetarian needs 😋 The restaurant was busy and despite our large group, we did not feel like we were waiting too long to be served. A great evening, pleasant atmosphere, delicious food, well worth a visit.

Went here recently with family, had chicken and lamb kebabs, very nice, lovely staff - Aakash and Anubhav. Consider having salmon instead of sea bass though ?

Their Farrouj Meshwe is the best chicken I've ever had. We've been back 4 or 5 times just to have it and their garlic sauce. The staff are all super friendly too. Couldn't recommend them enough.

Great food. Very fresh and tasty. Service needs work as we were not able to all eat together as some starters and mains arrived later than others. Staff were friendly though and apologised for the lateness of some dishes. Was und definitely recommend.

Thought the food was decent to be honest. Service you could see they made a concerted effort to make our experience good. Atmosphere was absolutely fine even though we went on a Wednesday where everywhere is quiet.

I live above this venue and as I go home, I am regularly greeted by the owner who always says I need to try the food. One day I decided to visit the venue and I purchased the 'Chicken Shawarma Wrap' and I couldn't believe how flavoursome it was. The chicken almost melted in my mouth and I was left with a great feeling of what I would describe as a memorable sensation. I only rated the atmosphere 4* due to the fact that the restaurant wasn't very full at the time. I hope that my review will incentivise people to visit the venue in future to create more of a traditional atmospheric environment.

Shockingly bad food. We had to send back the mains. Coming from a big city (London, Paris, NY) this is really poor quality food but the good reviews are probably from locals who don’t have anything better… don’t go here.

We went there for a dinner because we saw that the restaurant has a good reviews, however the food that was served was cold and dry , and not fresh at all , the rice was cold , the mixed grill was dry , we didn’t enjoy the food at all. We asked for a yogurt sauce and they only gave us a plain yogurt with no taste. I have high expectations on Lebanese restaurant but this is by far a very bad experience for us. as well it was overpriced .

Food and service excellent. We went on a Tuesday afternoon so not fair to comment on atmosphere. Lovely food. Good size portions. Wouldn’t recommend veggie mousaka as not what I expected. Although still tasty. Our servers were Julia and Aakah. They were excellent

We chose this place for our anniversary dinner because of the positive reviews. Unfortunately, the food was a major disappointment. We ordered the mixed grill, moussaka blzeit, and a lamb rice dish. While the mixed grill was tasty, the portion size of the meats was very small. The moussaka lacked depth, with the tomato flavor overwhelming the dish, and the lamb rice was bland with the lamb itself being dry. Overall, the food fell short of expectations, and I wouldn’t recommend it. However, the service was excellent—the waiters were attentive and very helpful.

Great service, generous portions. High quality food. However, interior needs updating to attract more customers. Too dark on the inside, chairs uncomfortable. Would be nice to play arabic music.

What can I say. From start to finish was a disgrace. 7pm and only 4 other people in restaurant. No house wine. But could only offer most expensive wine. No Hendricks gin which was on menu, no lime and soda so wife had tap water. No Falafel starter, Main lamb and chicken dry. Went to rest room, smelt and look like an underpass pissing area. Staff just shrugged when I complained. That was when I could get their attention as they were in another room.

Starters weren't great they couldnt even get the hummus right, and it looked nothing like in the pics. Ordered grilled halloumi and they gave us fried halloumi, Salad wasn't the traditional salads we normally get from Lebanese restaurants. The meat in the mains was nice, but that was about it. Restaurant had a funny smell and overall was very average.

Really enjoyed our meal with three generations of our family. The kids particularly appreciated the tahini and house garlic sauce with a secret recipe. Very friendly hosts.

Been on my list for a while but would not go again. We were seated immediately and there was only one other occupied table in the whole restaurant. Despite this, it took 20 mins for someone to take our drink order. £4.95 for standard 330ml canned drinks is absolutely ridiculous and a massive rip-off. Stick to tap water. Our food was average, decent but not amazing value for money - we had the stuffed lamb and lahem meshwe. The stuffed lamb only had one piece of fried aubergine but a good amount of very tender meat. Plenty of yogurt dip. The lahem meshwe meat was dry and chewy and the flatbread tasted stale, but the rice was very good. After we finished eating it took a further 20 minutes for our plates to be collected and the bill to come. Waiter was not regularly circulating the restaurant and didn’t bother to check in halfway through our meal. Generally average, not impressed with the service and food a little on the expensive side.
