Excellent food and great range of beers

The new owners of this pub are so energetic, kind and ambitious. The food is all cooked fresh, with thought and imagination each week. Such a friendly atmosphere we are already planning our next visit, new years eve!

I've just been for a Sunday Roast which was absolutely delicious & I also had a Cinnamon Stick wich entitled me to 10% off my next meal 😊 I can't recommend this place enough. Thank You Charlie & Shane

Charlie and me have really changed The Drummond Arms, with community in mind, good selection of Drinks, Beautiful teasting Ales served with freshness what a delightful experience. The pub feels overall cleaner welcoming with a depth of warmth. I hear they are launching there kitchen 1st December with first offerings launching on there menu Sunday Roast ’. Which I will be attending. I went to the pub on halloween night, the staff was very welcoming and helpful, it was a Great atmosphere, at great prices on the drinks and the owners shane and charlie was so welcoming and a great laugh, i definitely be going back again thanks for a great night

Since the change in ownership, the establishment has become a source of significant anti-social behavior, particularly on weekends. Every weekend, there are loud, disruptive fights outside the pub. The owner is really rude and aggressive which is completely unacceptable behavior for someone running a business in our community. Very disappointed and would never recommend!

Only downside last food orders 8pm missed by 15mins menue looks good will try again shortly bike night Tuesday's missed that to!

Beautifully creamy pints of Guinness here, lovely staff and quiet place to have a good chat and a pint, would seriously recommend, hope the new owners take as much care of the place as the old one did

This was my local about 4 years ago. Went back today and it's still my absolute favourite pub. 10/10

Best pub. The staff are incredible. Sometimes there are dogs. Darts and pool. Never change!

Love this pub so much … so friendly and great service always with a fabulous atmosphere .... Eugene and the staff are helpful and friendly … the pub is clean and doggo friendly .. we always stop here for drinks before and after the brook … and will continue to do so ❤️

A fantastic pub with an amazing food menu, the kitchen has recently reopened and the food is wonderful, filling and very good value for money. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

My favourite local of all time! Eugene (the owner) and rest of the staff put on a fantastic weekly pub quiz which is free to enter and little prizes are won throughout while there is a free round for the winners. Decent prices, pool, tvs, best beer garnen and doggo friendly.

Been in a few times since reopening after the pandemic. Fantastic relaxing atmosphere, inside and out, just as a local pub should be. They've done a great job with all the covid guidelines too, making it very clear on how they are supporting people to stay safe whilst enjoying themselves.

I was so glad to see this beautiful old pub hadn't closed unlike a lot of it contemporaries. Beer was grand and the bar staff were great. Long may it continue 🤗

Great pub. Barmaid was so lovely and atmosphere was just right even tho not massive busy.

Only one vegetarian dish - The Black Bean Burger, I'll swear it was a frozen supermarket burger, inside burger there was nothing that resembled a black bean.

Free pool and darts. Good fun with mates

Great local boozer, welcomes locals and students, friendly staff, decent garden, sport on telly. Selection of lagers and ales. Very lucky to live close by.

Pros - - Cheap and drinks are very fair (a double is definitely a double) - Free pool on certain days - Extremely dog friendly - Welcoming and the staff all seemed happy and would chat to you - Easy to walk home - Beer garden Cons: - Very dindgy, needs a new coat of paint and a refurb - Definitely strikes you as an old man's pub at first, but this didn't put me off having a good pint. - Generally just needs some fixing up Overall a great place to head for a few drinks in the sun, play some pool and do some dog spotting. Don't walk in expecting a 5 star experience and you will enjoy yourself.

Cosy little local pub but not cheap..

Nice proper local pub, uninspiring range of ales though, London Pride, Doombar and a couple of Ringwood ales but well kept, service was good too.

A bit slow mid afternoon on Tuesday, but what would you expect? Decent food and beer can't comment on the punters because there weren't any!

Good local bar. Range of real ale is not massive but acceptable and they swap over the beers so you get a variety. Pool table and now table footy. They also do subotio sometimes.

Great place to go for a quiet drink, as long as you avoid the student social nights. Friendly, local atmosphere.
