Really friendly, welcoming people run this coffee bar. The coffee is brewed to perfection. The tea is strong and flavoursome. The toasted sandwiches are filled to the brim and very tasty. The cakes are moist and delicious. The outlook is pleasant due to the flowers and plants. The atmosphere, cosy and inviting. They also serve ice cream, toasties, waffles, and smoothies. The ice creams in waffle cones are amazing. The ice cream goes right down to the bottom, so every bite is a delight. This is a place we visit time and again. It comes very highly recommended indeed.

A very nice pub, with good food in a really nice area. It is quite calm and you can really wind down after a busy day.

What an exceptional restaurant. It was our first visit on a special occasion and the greeting at the door was warm and friendly. The co owner Ryan came to our table and with a real sense of warm professionalism talked us through the food options. Although many around us were choosing the ‘taster menu’, we decided on a la carte. The restaurant was intimate but spacious, with only 20 covers in an area that would easily of managed 40. The food was sublime, well designed and created and a pleasure to eat. To summarise a magnificent restaurant and a truly memorable evening.

It doesn't get any better than this. What a great place for that very special meal. I cannot fault it in any way. Wonderful views from the dining room, great service and the best food.

For £200 without wine I really expect hollandaise that isn't slightly scrambled, claggy pie pastry and literally undrinkable coffee. On the other hand, the spring rolls were incredible, puddings were fine and the petits-fours were a nice touch. Ambience is a bit weird, like a parody of an expensive restaurant, and I can't say that the couple having a deeply venomous argument right behind us enhanced it. Perhaps we caught them on a bad night but we won't be back to check.

Went there for a private function. All ok.

We recently held a family celebration, at the Shoulder of Mutton, for my grandchildrens’ 16th and 18th birthdays. The food (the Sunday Lunch) was excellent, Our vegetarians were well catered for, and the staff were friendly, cheerful and welcoming and did all they could to make the day a success. We had the conservatory to ourselves, which was a bonus. I know it was very busy that day but I cannot thank all the staff enough, for their hard work. We had a wonderful celebration.

This beautiful family run pub is a little ‘gem’! It is cosy and welcoming and we held my father-in-law’s funeral reception in the lovely conservatory, which was perfect for 30 people. Alan and Wendy organised everything, which meant we didn’t have to worry about anything. The buffet was delicious including home made quiche and sandwiches and the service was excellent. Thank you Amy and Anais for looking after us all. You helped turn a sad day into a joyful family get together! Thank you Alan and Wendy.

We were pleased to find this little gem at the marina and have returned several times, usually for breakfast. It is well used by people with boats moored nearby and that has created a friendly atmosphere. Not pretentious but friendly host. Good quality produce is used and prices very reasonable.

There is no other place like it for a Sunday roast! We keep coming back! Fantastic food, atmosphere and service from Dani and Shelby was excellent, so attentive and caring.

Went in for a group meal. Food ok. Can't believe they didn't do cocktails.
