Great food and really friendly staff. The almond croissant is a favourite and the chocolate milkshake is indulgent. They do some great vegan options for breakfast/lunch as well as a decent streaky bacon sandwich.

I am a big fan of Italian cuisine. Not only on holiday in Italy, but also in my home country, Switzerland, I regularly visit Italian restaurants. Here in Eastbourne we found this fantastic restaurant. What we were able to enjoy here can compete with the best Italian restaurants in the world. It was absolutely top class. There's a Negroni on the menu! A Negroni like heaven; perfectly mixed. The starter: The bruschetta and insalata caprese were simply perfect. Flavour, visual presentation, price/performance - unbeatable. The main course: Lasagne and pollo something: an absolute highlight. Delicious!!! Outstanding!!! The dessert: Tiramisu is always the benchmark for quality at the end of an Italian dinner. And this tiramisu sets the bar very, very high. I have to say, it will be very, very difficult to find an Italian restaurant that can compete at this level. A word about the staff: Anyone who can employ such great service staff in the current staff shortage is probably doing a lot right. We finished with a sambuca. Unfortunately, this Italian speciality is not available in every restaurant that describes itself as "typically Italian". I am absolutely thrilled with this Italian restaurant. Anyone who loves Italian cuisine and is travelling anywhere near Eastbourne must pay a visit to this restaurant. Thank you for letting us be your guests.

Best Chinese I’ve had in a long time! Very welcoming too. Even dropped it to my car as I was parked in a private road. Delicious

Wow! What a delicious meal! Still thinking about it days later… the restaurant is cosy and relaxed, the food is absolutely delicious and really good quality, with fresh ingredients. Between 2 people we ordered the prawns, aubergine, fritters for starter - yum, the prawns lit up our eyes!! Then we had the red mullet and seafood ragu for main - the ragu was deliciously complex, rich, and full of flavour, and the red mullet was the perfect accompaniment also being delicious but less rich. The wine was also lovely! I think one of the waiting staff was perhaps new/lacking in confidence, and despite being friendly and warm, after being seated we were left without menus or water for a long time when we arrived (and another table who arrived after us were given these before us), plus we ordered espresso at the end of the meal which was forgotten, but this service training is easily rectifiable and I wouldn’t remove any stars for this because everything else was so great and it genuinely just seemed like a lack of experience. However, Carla was particularly attentive and wonderful which made up for it, plus the food was honestly to die for (compliments to the chef!). Would definitely recommend this place to anyone in Eastbourne, have already told friends and family about it 😊

The restaurant is clean light and airy with the sort of table layout you expect when dining out. Food is of a very high standard and beautifly presented. I t was a joy to be attended by professinal staff with an attentive and well informed Maitre. The best servioce I've had recently and I would love to return.

Pequeño gran café Si quieres un verdadero Gulyas húngaro, no es lo que Todo Reino Unido cree que es un Goulash, ¡este es el lugar correcto! Buenos crepes dulces y salados también. Lugar ideal para un desayuno o almuerzo tardío. Sorprendentemente, no como en otros lugares aquí, también puedes comprar algunas cervezas o sidra y un espíritu húngaro llamado "palinka" (aunque fuerte:)). Esto hace que sea un lugar ideal para "cotillear" no solo para mujeres, sino también para hombres. :) El servicio es sonriente.

I had a private booking for my baby shower and it was lovely. We had the place to ourselves while we enjoyed afternoon tea. So reasonably priced, staff were always on hand to serve and the food was lovely. The place is so beautifully decorated that there was no need to bring my own decorations. From initial email enquiry to the day, Julie was so friendly and accommodating. Thanks for a great afternoon 💖

The fish was fresh and crispy. The beef burger though was dry and did not have a salad, tomato or even a gherkin.
