The best restaurants serving Default food in Regency Brighton and Hove South East

Not welcoming, no atmosphere, existing and long service… Too bad the view is beautiful To flee

I have been here a couple of times when visiting Brighton but sadly today is the last. Very small portions, food is OKAY, had bread and butter £1 for one piece of bread and butter (I could buy a whole loaf for that). Can definitely find better, it’s definitely not value for money and walked away today and felt very disappointed. Shame as it’s a great location!

Love frequenting chopstix on my lunch break. The staff (josef and Andro) are always helpful and friendly! If anything, I only go back for them!

Large pub, good value for drinks, friendly staff. This is a place for a couple of quick drinks whilst out an about.

We were looking for a place for afternoon coffee and cakes which we paid a considerable amount for and found a seat downstairs. Tables were all uncleared and dirty so we pushed the dirty cups to one side. A customer came and unlocked the disabled toilet with a key and took one look and turned away and struggled upstairs! The toilet was left unlocked and people kept opening the door and immediately turning away looking disgusted. The smell reached us and we had to move to another filthy table. At least 4 staff behind the counter. Someone should have been cleaning! About time the place was managed correctly and I seriously wonder if head office are aware of the state of the place.

Gran curry katsu y muy buena porción también. Tenía el curry de katsu de calabaza que tenía mucha calabaza. Un poco más de salsa habría estado bien, ya que había mucho arroz, pero todavía me gustó!

Era el sábado antes de Navidad y nuestra familia se reunió en McD’s. Como éramos 8... 5 adultos y 3 niños no teníamos muchas esperanzas de sentarnos juntos. Un amable par de jóvenes acababan de terminar y nos dieron sus asientos .. con eso la familia detrás de nosotros se mudó y estábamos todos juntos! Un joven vino y limpió el piso y la mesa. No he recibido su nombre, disculpas, es tan educado y considerado conseguir una trona para nosotros. Teníamos preguntas sobre alergias y opciones de comidas sin lácteos y queremos elogiar a ELENA por su asistencia y ella no podría haber sido más servicial. Ella personalmente tomó nuestro pedido y se aseguró de que nos dieron las comidas correctas y seguras. ELENA se acercó y comprobó que todo estaba bien, como dije antes y después. Recomiendo este restaurante McD’s y no puedo elogiar demasiado al personal.

Great coffee and bakery. Often come here for filled sandwiches/ croissants et. The service is friendly and the prices are good too

Dopo una bella passeggiata lungo mare, niente di meglio di questo ristorantino, fish& chip di ottima fattura, fresco e leggermente agliate le patatine, eccellente il piatto e ottima la Camden beer. La signora che ci ha servito, a ridosso della spiaggia, davvero tanto carina e gentile. Il bagno interno, pulitissimo. Consiglio

I decided to try Harleys Pizza recently as we were really craving pizza. I spent £32 yes £32 and got two depressing 12 inch pizzas. Given they have pizza in the name you would expect something half decent however I can catergorically say this was the worst pizza I’ve ever had. The pizza’s themselves taste like burnt cheese on toast, the guy in the ship has essentially grated a block of cheap cheese and just chucked it on the pizza. The base was also vile, I don’t really know how to describe it other than stale brown bread. I would never eat there again and I would advise anyone else to steer clear.

Served a Luke warm pie that had one piece of cold chicken in it, shockingly bad pie and white sauce that gave me a belly ache, I am currently considering taking this further as this morning I had a really bad belly ache.

Recientemente renovado con un gran diseño. Cafetería muy encantadora y amigable. Pasteles griegos recién horneados.

Found this gem last year just as it opened up, so it was first on my list when I came back this year however the bar that was is now a Mexican restaurant so you can’t get a look in for some nice afternoon drinks with a sea view - I did manage to get a table at the bar but the cocktail menu was slim and the presentation wasn’t what I experienced when I first discovered this place! Totally gutted but understand the business opportunity and the food did look amazing still worth a visit

Nah.....Just not the same anymore, gone from one of the best pubs you could ever visit. Now no atmosphere, poor drink selection staff not caring if you are there or not, this is our 4th and very last visit since it reopened from Dr Bs to the Star and Garter.
