We were looking for a place for afternoon coffee and cakes which we paid a considerable amount for and found a seat downstairs. Tables were all uncleared and dirty so we pushed the dirty cups to one side. A customer came and unlocked the disabled toilet with a key and took one look and turned away and struggled upstairs! The toilet was left unlocked and people kept opening the door and immediately turning away looking disgusted. The smell reached us and we had to move to another filthy table. At least 4 staff behind the counter. Someone should have been cleaning! About time the place was managed correctly and I seriously wonder if head office are aware of the state of the place.

Went in for a coffee at this SB across from Churchill Square. Not crowded but many tables were left uncleared (I had to clear one myself - nowhere to put it so moved cups to another table and wiped mine with a napkin). 5 or 6 people behind bar, (some working, some chatting) no one came out to tidy up and it looked like that hadn’t happened for a while! Coffee was OK but the ‘experience’ was unpleasant.

Only stopped here as we were at this end of town just before a long drive home. There was of course a queue, although 6 members of staff were at the counter at this time. I only ordered 1 latte which came out quickly. The till staff were okay, not much personality or welcoming. I advised I was sitting in but still got a take out cup which I didn’t appreciate. The latte was so hot! I’d ordered soya milk so bring so hot is concerning as soy splits so easily. It was weak tasting. It stayed hot at least 30 minutes into my drive too. The tables were not wiped over at all. The inside was scruffy. There are plenty of coffee shops in Brighton, so don’t ruin your coffee experience here.

called here Monday 6th Sept 2021. just got off the bus from Worthing and was desperate for a clod drink and this was close and as we didnt know the area called here. lady serving wasnt the best at telling us what they did and i just accepted what she said, the drink was ok, we did get a table ok. the place wasnt too organised and was quite drab and scruffy. Wouldnt go again if in that area

This really is a poor Starbucks. Long queues for coffee and the state of the upstairs seating area is dirty with lots of litter. Needs a good revamp and staff that care for their environment.

3 girls ‘serving’, not very busy, but taking a long time. I asked to have in and got my panini in a takeaway bag. Girl that served me on her phone and not particularly polite. Came upstairs and plates and cups everywhere and place is filthy.

So whilst in Brighton on work I had a couple of hours spare to use before a meeting. I decided to pop into Starbucks for a coffee thinking I would grab my laptop out and reply to some emails etc. Turns out half of Brighton had the same idea, I grabbed my coffee and headed upstairs. The whole area was filled with like minded people sitting amongst each other with laptops probably from all sorts of working background catching up. The vibe was brilliant, people were chatting between them, I almost ended up playing cards with a group sat next to me (I was good and continued working)...the whole atmosphere was awesome.

The worst experience I have ever had.very dirty,unsanitised place,and the cups were dirty also I have found hair in my milk. I have never go back there what a waste of money. Location Brighton city centre. Starbucks coffee shop

Lunch in Starbucks with my son. No shopping trip is complete without this ritual. However on Friday, it was quiet!! This is perhaps the busiest Starbucks in the south of england - well Brighton at least. But on friday we were able to get seats in the window (big mistake actually, as it was a very hot & sunny day & we melted). There was no queue to order food & drinks, we walked straight in, selected our sandwiches, ordered our drinks, paid & sat down. No messing about! My veggie New Yorker was a strange one - think it was the pickled vegetables that made it taste odd. It wasn't unpleasant - just not a flavour sensation I'd had before. Coffee is always good there. My son always orders one of those creamy cold drinks with squirty cream on top. Really cant complain about the service or the standard of food there. Consistently good. Nice spot for a sit down whilst the world whizzes by & quiet too!!

Arrived stood at counter was ignored and eventually staff member served someone who had just arrived Mine arrived eventually but whilst it was ok, it was over filled and spilt everywhere. Chairs were ok but overall not a memorable experience.

The staff were really helpful and there was no delay but it was a self service cafe. I would really recommend the iced white mocca, it was totally delicious but the cake was very bad because it was stale. There is free wi-fi so it's a good place with an absolutely perfect atmosphere to do some work on your laptop. Finally we had a great time

The coffees were absolutely amazing. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The price was a little bit expensive but the service was very quick. If you are a student you can use the student card to get a discount. The atmosphere was very relaxed. the decor was really brilliant. The menu was very varied. The location is absolutely perfect because it is easy to reach for everyone. I would recommend this place

I recently visited Starbucks in Market Street. It is quite a busy place and the staff can be over-run with orders, so you need to be patient. Normal Starbucks coffee and yummies

Good experience, good costumer service and cleaned bathroom. Nothing bad to say. I stayed there for 2 hours and no one bothered me.

Awful service. Visited at 09.40 to be told they had no ice for Frappuccino! Ordered signature hot chocolate to receive a standard luke warm hot chocolate, Starbucks is usually my first choice but I will not be returning to this one!

I ordered an americano at the Jubilee Street branch and when given the choice opted for a small one, I was taken aback when a received a cup the size of a fireman's bucket. It was weak and horrible and I could not take more than two sips.

This was about average for a Starbucks and I managed to get a reasonable seat unlike other reviewers. The location is not too bad.

I always pop into this branch of Starbucks when I want a good cup of coffee but of course there are many other drinks available not only coffee but my best place for that truly outstanding cup of coffee

This has got to be my worst Starbucks experience. I thought I was the only one who thought the coffee was terrible until my friend mentioned about hers. She said hers tasted like fish food flakes dilated with hot water while I had ordered a coconut cappuccino while it didn't taste like a normal coconut cappuccino. Something must be wrong that the coffee they were using on that day, who knows? The toilets needed serious attention, and needless to say I was grossed out. This review concerns the Starbucks located on Jubilee Street in Brighton.

Looks really nice. Would have loved to stay and spend money but place was packed with wi-fi leeches and upstairs was like a student dorm room. Not a table free and no one actually buying products.... When will these places learn. Customers first...Turn wi-fi off and sell food and drinks

It's a decent coffee shop, not too many places to sit, seems like a place where a lot of students go with laptops! Coffee is, in my opinion, better than the other coffee shops and you get more for your money.

Poco distante dal centro commerciale, dal mare e dal centro è un punto dove incontrarsi e concedersi un break. Internet (sempre gratis) alcune volte nel mio caso si è disconnesso ma credo che sia stato un episodio.

Popped into Starbucks to get out of the rain and have a drink. Brought two ice teas. Good value for money, clean and tidy. The staff made us feel welcome & made a lovely ice tea.

Stopped for a espresso before a trip to Worthing. The place was buzzing Busy with all warps of life the place was quite untidy queue management good not fantastic yet good. Espresso decent

Churchill Square Starbucks always offer a warm welcome. At times it can be really busy and tables can be a bit slow to be cleaned up. I've always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Good coffee

I love the various blends you can buy here from all over the world. I love the strong and sweet flavours of the coffee. The roasting is exceptional and is never bitter (burning the roast).

Absolutely disgusting how this branch and western road are even allowed to serve food or drink is beyond me. Floor wasn't just dirty but unswept for days, dried spillages everywhere, dirty toilets and tables. This was first thing in the morning to. Will not return.

If you've seen one Starbucks, you've seen them all. Tasteless and very overpriced coffees. Very over-hyped place. Plenty of other local independent coffee shops to go to. Better value and service too.

Food slow but OK, coffee is great but standard Starbucks so expected that. Tables full of coffee cups,plates,wrappings, etc and didn't seem to be cleared away while we were in there. Toilets clean though. Lots of independent coffee shops in immediate area that are much better.

There were two men openly dealing weed on the table opposite us...the staff didn't seem to care so we left pretty quickly!

Usually a Costa girl decided to try Starbucks. The coffee shop was dirty, the counter top where you collect you drink from was wet, tables needed clearing and wiping, the floor and stairs need a good sweep and mop. My hot chocolate was just hot so like warm by the time I had finished my croissant. Won't bother again.

Very good drinks as always on Starbucks but the cakes could be better. Staff could be quicker to clean tables when other guests go.

Being out and about and a lover of all things 'coffee', i stopped off for a flat white in starbucks, oh well, there's a first, and last time for everything. served in paper cups because the dishwasher was broken, they tell me this After they serve my coffee.left me unimpressed. the coffee was mediocre to say the least, could have been because of the paper cups perhaps? doesn't account for the poor service though. quite expensive too i thought.

I expected much much more from such a famous coffee-shop chain. I went there with a friend on a Tuesday afternoon so it was not a very busy weekend day.

I was standing at the counter waiting to be served when the person serving ignored me to take the order from the people behind me. When I pointed out that I was there first she assailed me with a load of verbal abuse and told me not to be so rude! I was appalled and asked to speak the manager.I have NEVER been spoken to like this anywhere. The manager came out and when I explained what had happened she told the woman that she needed to apologise. The server then started on again and just wouldn't shut up so in the end the manager told her she would speak to her later. I hasten to add that the server was not English and she seemed to have no idea how to speak to customers.

Used to go every day but now the staff are useless and far too slow. Eg, it's the morning, people are going to work and it shouldn't take 15 minutes to get an americano when there is one person in front!

Just went upstairs to look, if my friends already are sittiing upstairs, immediately one of the service personal asked me rude why i go upstairs without that i bought anything........

Close to seafront and as expected Clean, Fresh and plenty of places to sit and relax - Free WIFI and quite a vibrant location as very busy with people coming and going for coffee and snacks Toilets onsite as well

Schlechter teurer lauwarmen Kaffee oder so etwas ähnliches. Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Mit der Hygiene steht es auch nicht so besonders.

The coffee is always good at Starbucks. Unfortunately the table we had was left very dirty by the previous occupants and the floor by the table wasn't much better. The young lady I spoke to cleaned it up very quickly and was very helpful and polite. A good visit all round.

This is the best coffee chain in Brighton they also do lovely packaged cakes and you can sit outside or inside although it does get very crowded last time was 2 weeks ago the sun was out so I took my drink outside there were no chairs a waiter was clearing the tables and I asked if there were any chairs as there was one table left he reappeared with an inside chair what a gent they do not make much out of me as I only have coffee and cake so I am glad that I can give them a review

This is as good as the baristas on duty that day. Not much different from any other Starbucks. Comfortable seats and a street view. That's it. Oh, and overpriced coffee in big mugs, end of.

Have drunk starbucks around the world and am usually a huge fan but this one was hugely disappointing! Hardly any food left at 1 in the afternoon long queues and when we got there were told they were short staffed and we could only get coffee in paper cups.Didnt taste good and for nearly £3 could really employ someone to wash and clean up. Was very dirty in general floors and tables.When i asked for a cloth to wipe the mess myself a member of staff just wiped the crumbs from the table onto the chairs. Come on Brighton giving Starbucks a bad name!

It was clean, tasted as it should, a clean venue yet the staff were simply going with the service script no personal touch/extra conversation yet can't knock the venue all in all simply got what paid for

I ordered hot chocolate while waiting for my bus and I have about 10 min so was reasonable to expect that they would make it on time. My frustration is not that they didn't but that when it was 1 min before the bus was scheduled to come, I asked them nicely if I can get it quicker the response was basically shut up and wait… I just left. Congrats Starbucks, impressive.

Churchill Square is a very nice Starbucks too visit. It is a place that I was lucky enough too live near for quite some time and which became a regular place.

I have ordered a medium cappuccino, to have in. I was very disappointed that the cup was two thirds foam. The actual coffee was of poor quality as well. It had a bitter after taste. Definitely not worth the £2.60 I paid. Avoid this place at all costs.

I have my coffee there very often and I really like it. The best time to visit is early in the morning or late in the afternoon. Usually at noon time there are A LOT of people waiting to get served so it might take a little time until you get your Starbucks coffee! Also the space is limited downstairs so you might have to wait until a table is free or go upstairs for more free space (I never go up there as I don't like the atmosphere.) You'll be lucky if you get a table next to the window or outside:)

Reviewing a Starbucks if often a little pointless if there isn't something specifically wrong with it. This one has the usual selection of food and drinks (plus associated merchandise and newspapers), a good amount of seating upstairs and down (although it is often crowded, especially when raining) and swift staff. A nice place to grab a drink by Churchill Square.

Coffee okay, service not really up to much ... Seating area is okay nice for sitting to relax .. BUT avoid the toilets as they are horrendous , unclean very little lighting and smelly , to be quite frank toilets made me feel sick

Get outa town and back toLondon, we don't want you here! Hooray that Brighton has many independant coffee houses...

A great place to start the day when you are on vacation. Brilliant that they offer free wifi. A mystery that not all breakfast places does the same.

We popped in for a quick cuppa. I had a delicious spiced vanilla latte and my partner had tea. Both drinks were lovely! The only negative is the price of the food is quite high.

If you like American coffee is what you are looking for! But I don't understand why people likes to be ripped off! Everything is overpriced! The quality of food is nothing special!

Over loved and over priced for what it's worth, there are so many interdependent coffee shops in and around Brighton that you really should find an alternative

The place is crampt, dirty and the orders wrong. The toilets very dirty. I couldn't take back my incorrect order dud to excessive queues. Worst Starbucks I've ever visited.
