The best restaurants serving Default food in Basing Basingstoke and Deane South East

It was closed and I was unaware, until I visited, that it's closed all week it seems. Can't comment on food,service etc. as there was none. Nothing I've said here is untrue. You are closed most of the week and I was unaware of that. No need to get upset and I should have checked first. Certainly will not be visiting again anyway.

Me and my boyfriend walked here on a Saturday, I ordered a beef brisket and a toastie, alongside two drinks. The lady was very kind and she brought out the toastie and drinks. After a little while I went back in and asked about the missing beef brisket to which they said they had now sold out of and was really apologetic. I said it was absolutely fine I can buy something different, however the ladies were adamant to give me a full refund and asked me if I’d like to pick something else free of charge. The staff were so lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful we were really appreciative of them!

I understand everyone raves about this bakery and there was a variety of food - unfortunately within 45 minutes of selling lunch their pork belly was sold out. I loved their croissants but I feel like they try too hard with all their cakes. Even though I’m in lychpit I don’t believe I’ll come here often just because it is extremely busy and in an inconvenient location.

Sadly a very negative experience. Very unwelcoming and unfriendly staff, we ended up not staying and leaving within 5 minutes of getting there.

We had such a lovely time. We were served by Sarah Jayne who was very caring and offered good suggestions. Also made it special as we celebrating. Lovely atmosphere, great portion sizes and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

We had lunch there and as usual the food and service was very good. The food arrived at our table hot and fresh. Would recommend this cafe.

Not been here for many years, I had the chicken omelette & chips. Omelette was so tasty but the chips were dry and no taste really

A welcome stay in an unfamiliar area, everything was perfect. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. I was very impressed and wouldn't hesitate to book this hotel again if I was in the area.

Since the new fridges went in, it's utterly pathetic. You need night workers filling shelves, staff that can work a till and smile.. not hard
