The Prince of Wales opened its doors again on the 23rd May 2025 after a total renovation! It's a brand new era for the pub and already had huge praise for how beautiful and better the pub is now. All the locals are back together and enjoying the new improved Prince of Wales. With entertainment every weekend and lots of drinks offers it's definitely the place to be.

chicken kebab and the chips nice but Donna kebab and kebab meat not up to usually standard. texture and taste was not nice at all. and ended up cooking for myself and daughter not what you expect after paying out over £25

Peas pudding chips and gravy always top notch!

Really friendly lady behind the bar. Cheap enough alcohol. Plenty of seating options.

Toilets are an abomination! Rest of the place is OK to nip for a swiftun

Ordered the salt and pepper box not much chicken mostly chips and tasted burnt went in the bin

The quality of the food dishes this evening was poor. The food was clearly cooked and prepared differently than all the previous occasions that we'd had the food before. I rang and asked if they had a new or different chef and they said no. No explanation was given as to why the food was not up to their previous standard. £40 the family had cost us and I truly wished we'd opted for pizza!! Will not use them ever again which is a real shame as they were previously always very good.

They charged for food, but food never arrived

I was astounded at how rude and abrupt the lady who served me was today. Every time we go into this shop the staff are rude. The first couple of times I let it go as you never know what people are going through in their lives but it has just happened so many times now, it is infuriating how you are treated when you are being perfectly civil and polite. I am appalled that they get away with it when clearly from other reviews, many people have had similar experiences and nothing is done about it.
