Prince of Wales in Wigan

The Prince of Wales opened its doors again on the 23rd May 2025 after a total renovation! It's a brand new era for the pub and already had huge praise for how beautiful and better the pub is now. All the locals are back together and enjoying the new improved Prince of Wales. With entertainment every weekend and lots of drinks offers it's definitely the place to be.

Really quiet here now so atmosphere needs to be from who you go with. Kids play area in beer garden, will often have bouncy castle up. Toilets a bit shabby but overall it's a good stop off.

Brilliant pub, but some days doesn't seem be open, went past sun lunch and was shut, hope it's a success though

Nice traditional pub with friendly staff. Prices ok, quality good. They don't usually offer food but if you ask and they have the time they would rustle something up for you. There is a great large children's area. All in all we enjoyed our evening in this pub very much.

Had thier cuzcampo lager and wife had white wine spritzer, great value, kids love the outside play area and capri sun

An old pub so it has character that has been made over decades rather than the modern effort that is the red robin.!

I've never been to this pub & the only reason I was there was for a family wake after we lost a great family member.

Good pub good ale and a cracking laugh

Buffet 7.50 which is really cheap. Food not brilliant but ok.

Used to be a cracking little spot this, unfortunately it has fierce competition opposite and next door. Spoilt for choice really.

Female I was in recommended it, I liked it needs a speed cloth on pool table though, I couldn't play pool and I have won trophies.
