Taz Mahal in Wigan

Fantastic food!! Everything was fresh and tasty they forgot the pizza but we phoned up and had a fresh, hot one in under 30 minutes. We will certainly be ordering from here again.

The food was excellent and the deal was even better. A set meal that allows you a big menu to choose from, a restaurant that is thinking the way the customer does! So many restaurants give a set choice and you spend ages sending messages or ringing

Our 3rd time ordering from here, and the food is fantastic. Sometimes a wait on the weekends but we don't mind as it's well worth the wait. Will defo be our favourite from now on

Curry was very runny/ watery and just all onions only a couple of pieces of chicken for £31 I expect better won’t be returning

have been told this is a good Indian however been sat waiting for 2 hours. called the restaurant they said 20 mins. then 20 mins after that I get an update it out for delivery and it still hasn't arrived on time! safe to say I won't be ordering ever again from here.

I got my order opened up to eat its was cold I had to re heat in a microwave also I didn’t end up eating it all as it was the same taste or texture or anything I’m very disappointed in this service and tbh I live less that a mile away? So don’t get why it was so long with added waiting time of ten mins I’m fuming that it cost so much too

Tried this place a few weeks back been looking for a decent curry house with food that is full of flavour I now order every other week best curry house around Wigan staff are lovely too food always way before delivery time 5 stars all round Sheena (parkfields)

Tonight we had the meal for two ( again).It’s so good why not.Starters, poppadoms, two curries with rice and naan.Also a burger with fries for the lad.I must say we order always from here as the food is exceptional.

Delivery took a long time far longer than stated on the restaurant description. By the time the food arrived it was only just warm. Also app failed to say driver was here!

The naan wasn’t cooked properly tye lamb in the lamb meal was inedible full of gristle n fat and the tikka was watery sitting on the lake in a pool of trepid water vey disappointed we’ve eaten from here loads of times most of it is in the bin … what a pay day treat shame

Food is always delicious, everything lovely. The only criticism is the long wait for the delivery, the last few times, it is always approx 1hr 45 mins to 2 hrs.

Discovered Taz for the first time last week and shamelessly had the trio kebab 3 times already. Hands down the best kebab in Wigan. Huge portion and amazing price and quality.

Ordered a royal starter that came like soup and poured red water all over my floor rang the shop and he said it wasn't his problem thanks for the good customer service won't order again and the meat was so chewy even jaws wouldn't of been able to get through it and the curry was all oil

A long time ago, about 40 years ago, in fact, my learned friend, who considered himself an authority on Indian cuisine, once told me that the only meat to order would be lamb at an Indian food establishment. I have followed his advice over the years and always ordered lamb ever since and enjoyed it immensely, until recently. I'm assuming the special, painstaking process of cooking the lamb in the traditional Indian style has been passed down through the generations so as to preserve the secret of its tenderness and succulent taste and texture. As I say, I'm only assuming. I ended up giving the majority of my lamb to a hungry dog, which meant that I was just left with pilau rice, sauce, and poorly undercooked onions. I also expected to pay a little less, considering it was a fast food takeaway joint, but I was unpleasantly surprised by the total of the bill. I can honestly say that I would've been better off stocking up on the frozen ready meals at my local German discount supermarket. Following my last few experiences of sampling lamb cooked by the chefs today, I will be converting back to chicken.

Food was very tasty, hot and on time. Chips were small portion but weren’t particularly expensive for the size. I would happily order from again.

As always, the food was delivered piping hot and on time. I’ve tried quite a few Indian takeaways and none compare with this place. The food is superb with good portions. What’s not to like👌🏻

Lamb chops are really tasty, samosas are good. Onion bhajis were a little mushy in the centre but we still ate them. Will definitely order again.

Food wasn’t very hot when it came had a long waiting time for it but was here with in the time they said. Not the best food but was eatable.

People have been telling me about these royal kebabs for ages now, so yesterday finally decided to see what all the fuss was about. Wow, £10 seems a lot for just a kebab, but it was honestly the tastiest thing iv ever had and it fed me, the bird, and little lad and still had some left for my dinner the day after....... Dirty boy

Tasted like frozen chicken and tinned sauce, was supposed to be medium heat and it wasn’t even a little bit spicy.

Food is great every time, but they tend to forget items sometimes. I didn't bother phoning for my missing onion barges on this occasion, but previously, I've had the same issue, and they did deliver the missing item.

I would recommend Taz Mahal beautifully cooked and normaly turns up early.

Food was barely warm, ordered Pakoras and they sent a replacement in inedible horrible spring rolls without informing us, onion rings inedible, chips soggy and cold overall very poor, we will definitely not order from here again.

A couple of Chewy horrible bits of chicken. Masala sauce was nice. Ordered 3 cans of pop only got 2 delivered
