Ordered the salt and pepper box not much chicken mostly chips and tasted burnt went in the bin

If I could give this take away a lower score I would, ordered on just eat for delivery in Standish which is 10 min drive away and my address is on a recognised road, called the restaurant when the food was half an hour after the latest delivery time on just eat and was told the delivery was with the driver and would be 10 minutes, called again after another 1/2 hour and asked if they would call me back when they found out from the driver what the hold up was and they did not call me back, I called again after another 15 minutes (2.5 hours after expected delivery time) and advised them to cancel the order. I got the feeling they had decided not to action the order as there was no fuss or concern about this request. Definitely do not use if you live anywhere slightly on the outskirts of their delivery area on Just Eat. Leaving my review on here as Just Eat wouldn’t allow me to leave a review as the order was cancelled.

This is the best chinese food I've had. It's a must have.Just had another House special, your choice of sauce or veg. I have either black bean (spicey) or veg so I can have it with a portion of milk curry. Amazing!!! Special chowmein is great and the Ribs are fantastic!!!. Any low review will only be for things like sausage and English food , which is the same anywhere. So order Chinese and enjoy. Just had this again with boiled rice, try it once you will be amazed.

Below average ... Frozen chips quite bland food.

Went round to get some food for the first time since the pandemic no face coverings on staff and not enforcing masks on customers and only accepting cash transactions... this is ridiculous and irresponsible.. if it wasnt a chinese I would be surprised.

Chicken chow mein, fried rice, chips, mushroom and onion. £20 did for four meals between two of us. Would be 5* but the chicken was obviously frozen chicken strips. But it all tasted good

Second visit, first visit was good so decided to go again. Ordered salt and pepper chicken bites(very good) salt and pepper combination chicken wings (good) ribs (tasty but tough) beef ( couldn't even bite let alone chew) chip(ok) ordered chicken satay skewered too salty couldn't eat them, chicken satay with fried rice (way too much veg in satay but tasty, fried rice very good) delivery charge is £1 and took 1 hour. Would maybe go again at a push but order different dishes to see if it improves.

I've got sea food allergy the were bad at handling this ,oyster sauce not class as a allergy problem ,they could be sued as they could have put me in hospital .. ,big warning Check first from ordering .

Excellent hot food, tasty and good position sizes, proper chippy chips, will defiantly order again and highly recommended

Food is excellent. My only slight grumble is the chow mien was too dry. Could probably do with a tad more sauce. Otherwise extremely tasty 👍🏼

Order finally arrived over and hour and a half after ordering. Food wasn’t brilliant, some of it being cold, some over cooked. Tried calling the restaurant numerous times to check up on our order with no answer, and just kept getting through to an out of date voicemail from July. Definitely was not worth the wait.

as usual the food is good, but also as becoming the norm is for the delivery to be well past the stated time, which the restaurant also increase from the Just Eat anticipated delivery and is well over an hour after order is placed

The food was tasty, but cold. It was out for delivery for nearly half an hour so obviously stacked multiple orders despite us only being 2 miles away. would order again based on food quality, but hope to not have to use the microwave next time...

food took two hours. restaurant phone kept going to voicemail as did just eat when they tried. it arrived two hours late and half of it was missing. very disappointing. can’t get hold of restaurant to complain as they don’t answer the phone. avoid if you want to get what you want in a decent time. not good enough.

The food here is good but the delivery times are shocking. After it reached half an hour over the time the restaurant had claimed to deliver (75 mins after.ordering) I tried to call them to an message that they were closed until July (it's September). Delivery finally arrived after 2 hours with a driver who said they've got 4 drivers but the kitchen is so slow this always happens. I'm just grateful I hadn't paid on my card and was paying cash this time so I could refuse it.

I work away a lot and order Chinese most weeks even when at home and this without doubt was the best take away Chinese food I’ve ever had wish I lived nearer.

Unfortunately the food really was not up to standard, it was late, the noodles were very dry, the seaweed was soggy, as were the prawn crackers, the salt and oepper chips were mushy and bland, and the sweet and sour prawns had very sloppy batter and was too sweet. I have ordered from here before and it has been good! But very very disappointed with this order and will not be returning

We have eaten here many times before and enjoyed the meals. Hadnt ordered in a while but have been left really disapointed today. The chips delivered like rubber, left my partner unable to eat his meal. The boiled rice ordered by me was really sticky and didnt taste right. Curry was really nice. Only edable part of meal.

The only problem was I ordered crispy shredded chicken that came in a spicy sauce that is not stated on the menu. The rest of the food was lovely.

What a poor show. Our food was late and cold, it wasn’t what we ordered. How is meat and potatoe pie a meat pie. If you don’t have a meat pie then contact customer and tell them, not to turn up with a poor substitute. The chips where dark brown and cold. The fish was not what we expected. I ordered food for 18:20 and it turned up at 18:55. We were all going out at 19:30. We won’t order from them again and wouldn’t advise anybody else too and the driver said he was just a delivery driver. !!!!!

I cannot leave any stars as I had the worst experience from Golden Dragon last night. I had never ordered from here before and only decided to try it when my favourite place weren't delivering. I had a migraine and really fancied some chicken noodle soup to help me feel better. I ordered at 8pm and had a confirmation delivery time of 9pm. I ordered a soup, portion of salt and pepper chicken, soft noodles and a pot of curry sauce. When my food hadn't arrived by quarter past 9 I started to call the restaurant but nobody answered the phone. I did this multiple times. I went on live chat with just eat twice who also tried the restaurant and their alternative phone numbers to which nobody answered. I was told to wait longer. This restaurant is a mile away from were I live so I can't believe I had to wait over two hours for my food to turn up. When my food did turn up I had no apology or even an acknowledgement of how late my food was from the driver, nor had they thrown anything extra in by way of apology. Luckily my four items were all there but the curry had a film on it and I could tell my foot had been sat for some time. I would like a full refund and will never be ordering from here again and I recommend others not to bother either....ruined my Friday night!

I cannot comment on the food as it never arrived; eventually I was forced to cancel the order as despite repeated attempts to get through to the restaurant the phone rang out to answerphone and at one point my call was rejected

The salt n pepper chicken didn't even looked cooked it was so white and didn't taste good. Sweet n sour chicken balls was all batter and no chicken. The food was just a massive let down for the price of it. Won't be ordering again

A little late (30 minutes)staff are friendly and apologetic for delays Accept on this occassions not even a smile. . Food is amazing from here though, not greasy and very tasty. Smacks missing from our previous order, small item but paid for non the less. They added them in with this order 😊

Were do I start so me my girlfriend and family have a get together Saturday night and order takeaway. Used the Golden Dragon and I can honestly say it's the worst food i have ever eaten everything about it was wrong. The prawn toast looked like they had been soaked in oil that had not been changed for weeks so much they had square marks from the metal linning, the crispy won tons were flat no meat inside them at all. We ordered BBQ ribs to find there was no sauce on them at all had this had been disguised in peppers and black over cooked onions. This is only the start the curry was so cold and set in the pot you could not pour it. Three bags of food came all the sauces were split and covered everything. The chicken wings well we simply refusednto eat them they were dripping in fat and the skin looked like it would potentially make you ill. The reason for my post is to warn every one who is gonna use this place don't we spent £53 to be exact and I have woke up this morning feeling sick and mad from mine and my family's experience with this disgusting food. Please please please do not eat here when I phoned to complain the lady on the phone just brushed it off like I was phoning for a friendly chat at least accept responsibility for the food you have served. So Overall disgusting under cooked food drippingbin oil that's not been changed for weeks.

wow the food was delicious and I loved it all the duck was exquisite I mean I love duck and that was the best duck I have ever tasted and the soft fried noodles were soooooo yummy, the spring roll I wasn’t too keen on but that’s my fault because I don’t usually like spring roll but just wanted to try it, but everything else was spot on even the pineapple fritters I never had them before but they were scrumptious. Thankyou will definitely recommend and order again

So my daughter changed address on account to her boyfriends house! So when we next order it goes there! Next village along. A goid 15 minute drive. The driver still drove from their house to ours which was really kind of him . Really pleased! Food was yum!
