Pathetic portion size of large chips. Horrible atmosphere.

we got the new munchy box its was absolutely filled with beautiful food

Not been here for around 12 months after a poor meal, so thought I would try again... Ordered a hot and sour soup. And a chicken fried rice. The soup was thin dishwater, thin and could see the bottom of the dish... One piece of meat in it... Went down the sink. The chicken fried rice was just a dish of rice with two bits of chicken in it (I'm not joking).. Plus 7 peas - yes I did count them.. Dire dire dire... Keep away.

Always on time if not before n beef curry never fails

Terrible chips, prices have gone up and portions have gone smaller, the £15+ worth of Chinese meals didn't even come on level with the bottom tray.

Good let down by shrink flation salt n pepper wings had shrunk and so had the chow mein cost me £13 not happy over that what a pity

Rung up for a salt n pepper box as soon as I put phone down was here knocking on door looked like a big pizza box full sloppy chips and all chicken balls ribs etc buried underneath driver wanted money straight away before I got item not like I'm goin run off never again heard bad reviews on this place like finding wood lice

Took hour and half for the food to be delivered, food was cold phoned up to complain put they put the phone down.

I ordered salt and pepper crispy beef which wasn’t on the menu but they made it for me anyway and it was delightful! I got salt and pepper chips too and they were bang on! I only live over the road so they’ll be seeing me more often!🤣🤌🏼

Beef fried rice was hard and salt and pepper chips was mainly burned

Tried this again after sometime away. Unfortunately still poor. Purchased a hot and sour soup, which was inedible. Salty, with prawn shell and fatty chewy meats. Very very poor quality and was not hot and sour. Service was dismal. The young girl serving definately didn't want to be there, and was playing on her phone. Avoid.

New owners since my last visit, looks to have improved.

Our usual go to Chinese. Not anymore. Decided to get s/p chicken, fried rice and curry sauce. The next day both me and my partner had food poising, a day after reading Chopsticks got fined for their hygiene a few years ago…. We’d only eaten a sandwich and bagel that day, both with fresh dates, and made at home, so no doubt it was the Chinese food. Shame, we thought the chicken was different.

So here you have it. The Chopsticks Munchie Box. All this includes, Chow Mein, Egg Fried Rice, Prawn Toast, Satay Chicken Skewers, Chicken Nuggets, Salt & Pepper Chips, Salt & Pepper Ribs, Loads of Spring Rolls Satay Sauce, Curry Sauce. FOR £16 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Free Prawn Crackers & a Can of Fizzy Pop included. Can't say enough about this Box. The best and the most for the money you pay. (Only downside when paying inside the shop it was Cash only. No Card machine. So make sure to take Cash)

Just had fish & chips & the wife had puddingchips & gravy.it was very very good...definitely recommend this chippy.

Curry is shocking won tons with no sauce and worse I have ever had salt and pepper chips absolutely shocking and the Singapore chow Mein just noodles not much else in it so will not go again

Not bad for a local chippy, but portions seem to be getting smaller and prices getting higher

Good chipy and Chinese food. Chips always seem to be better Friday, Saturday and Sunday but aren't quite as good Wednesday and Thursday, I suspect its because the fat gets changed Friday. You get freebies if you spend over a certain amount, prawn crackers or pop. Just been back for the first time in ages and it's still good.

Nice little chippy, if you like Chinese and English dishes.

Asked for duck in orange sauce and was sent duck in pineapple sauce. I absolutely detest pineapple and never in my life from any Chinese dish restaurant or take away have I ever been sent duck in orange loaded with pineapples and pineapple sauce and wasn't even offered a refund. I won't ever order from here again as I have no clue of what I might get. This what I've got this evening is absolutely disgusting

Where do i start!! The food is absolutely spot on, piping hot and amazing quality, tried a lot of Chinese takeouts but the food and the crispy duck is unreal. Kind and respectful people, fantastic service for their customers. Order religiously from here and avoid elsewhere, by far the best Chinese takeaway 👍🏼

Made a phone order for collection sausage in a arm was only around the corner was told 15 to 20 min extremely slow since new owners have taken I’ve I always used to use chopsticks not no more will have to find a new local Chinese

Food could be better but it's edible

Worst Chinese ever don't bother. Ordered special chowmien no meat whatsoever! Special fried rice came with cubed chopped ham and pork and a few teared bits of boiled chicken that's it. Not very special other than zero flavour! Don't bother!!!

Just ordered by phone. Told it was going to be 20 minutes. Turned up after 25 minutes. No one asked me what I wanted for 15 minutes. When they said my food was ready I told them I wasn't paying for it... If they'd said we're a little busy we'll be with you when we can I'd have been ok with that.

Absolutely disgusting..all could taste was oil on chips,all hard and crispy. (Choking hazard for small children) Re-warmed sausages for children. Only nice thing was the curry. Food went to waste.

I’ve been going here for years but my last two visits my meal has been absolutely horrible I won’t be going there again in a hurry Take my advice save your money and try pem fish bar it’s 100% better

9./2/ 2020 Order tonight. Salt and pepper box 2 cars to much salt Salt and pepper mushrooms stone cold. Singer vermechele noodles no taste Chicken pepper sauce I think they empteyed all there pepper corn in it Was the worst food we have had. All in bin and £25 down drain Last time I ever order from here.

Always go here but tonight we ordered, salt/pepper chicken pieces which came cold, got the wrong soup, soft noodles was bearly warm, fried and boiled rice was ok, as the curry/bbq sauce warmed it up abit, all in all not good tonight, should of just put our £20 in bin as was a real disappointment,

We order from here regualarly, the food is always of good quality a d prepared fast. The owners are friendly and the prices are reasonable. I recommend the Honey Roast Pork Fried Rice.

Been using this chippy for over 3 years now. They’ve recently got a new delivery driver who doesn’t have a clue what he is doing. Waited over an hour and 15 minutes for food to arrive for us to ring them and they say he has been and no one would answer the door. When he didn’t even turn up said he was stood outside for 10 minutes yet we were checking every 5 minutes. 1 star review the same as their latest hygenie rating. Would only re-deliver if we took the cold food he failed to deliver the first time

Came up from South Wales to spend few days in Wigan visiting my son. He ordered us a delivery of food from chopsticks one evening and I was very impressed with the meal and the portion sizes themself were very large. I had the special fried rice and thoroughly enjoyed it..

Our favourite Chinese in the Wigan area. The staff are all really friendly and can't do enough to be accommodating, and the food is absolutely spot on, both English and Chinese

The delivery driver absolutely stank of weed, each to there own its nothing to do with me but we could still smell it in our home after he had left and with having a 5 month old baby I am not happy about this!
