The venue was closed at 17.15 when i visit today unfortunately. Google needs to be updated and so does the TCB website. I called and the number doesn’t work 😐 I was really looking forward to this but never mind.

Firstly the restaurant is down stairs which is ok but you need an app to order any anything and its very hard to get a signal. The food is delivered by a robot which was kinda fun but our starter was delivered and the mains whilst still eating starters so food was cold before we started eating mains. Portions were very small and the bill was expensive tbh

Served me Indian food instead and they all started covid

Entry was arround £26pp for 2 hours, and then you have to download an app to order food. A robot will bring it to you. Its a clean place, looking nice. But the taste of food was 2/5, specialy for this price. Worth to come once for the experience, but I would not recommend it if you're a gourmand. Parking available at rear £2.20 for 2h

First time at TCB buffet and we were so impressed , staff were so friendly and told us how everything worked with the app and ordering food , the service with the robot serving food was so entertaining and fast and the food was top quality best Chinese food we have ever had !!! Will be back again thank you

Been a few all you can eat Chinese restaurants, so I know the quality isn’t usually the best. This has got to be one of the worst though. We wasted so much food because we struggled to eat it. Really cheap, undercooked beef, salt and pepper chips were basically plan chips with a few peppers on, and egg fried rice was boiled rice with yellow dye in or something. I actually wouldn’t be surprised if we get ill from what we ate it was that poor - mainly the meat. Even the usual sauces like sweet and sour tasted stable! We had to ask for clean plates, absolutely zero atmosphere in there or music. We’ve never left an all you can eat still hungry. What a disappointment.

Took my Mum and Dad here. Staff were lovely, Tina remembering us from last time, the new (to us), manager, David and the new (to us), staff Simon, were so lovely. Took time to ensure we knew what to do, everything was ok, and we were ok. Food was delicious, came quickly, hot and very tasty. Well done chef. A total experience of great food, great atmosphere and of course, great staff. I fully recommend all of this to everyone who wants Chinese food in a lovely atmosphere and attentive, fabulous staff, at a very reasonable price. Thoroughly enjoyed thank you.

My daughter wanted to go here with two of her friends for her birthday - just the three of them. They had an amazing time. The guy who booked them in kept an eye on them for me making sure they could use the app and reminding them they could keep ordering food. My daughter said the quality of the food was much better than when it was left out for you to serve yourself. They had plenty of choice and found the staff very friendly and helpful. Her friend said she had found a new place for her family to eat out and was very impressed by it all.

I don’t understand the good reviews on this. The restaurant looks great and the staff are attentive, but that’s the only positives. There is a complicated app system needed to order, although I’m not sure why. The app has photos of the food which is always a bad sign. The food bore no resemblance to the app photos. Everything was cold, apart from the water which was like warm. The standard Chinese sauces were served in teaspoon quantities. The meat was fatty and tasteless. The pancakes stale. Even the rice was congealed and cold. We left without finishing our meal. I wish I’d read to the bottom of the reviews before going.

Great meal very helpful staff - you order food via an app on a smart phone they have free wifi it was pretty easy to follow seated and drinks on our table within 8mins and then we had time to look at the food to choose from on the app ,there was plenty of choices - overall a happy experience the staff made the kids feel special

First time back at the Chinese buffet since before lockdown last year and we was not disappointed.. the new system they have regarding ordering your food on the app and receiving table service in my opinion is much better than being able to help yourself. It is really quick from ordering your food to being brought to the table and is hot and full of flavour.. I especially enjoyed the steak cooked to perfection for my liking. The staff are very helpful and are always looking after you in particular Parnel who prepared the dishes and came out to check on us to make sure everything was ok(which it was) to the girl who served us( black hair young girl can’t remember her name) and the manager Alan was very friendly and helpful. The staff are really nice and the atmosphere was really good.. we had a really nice time the kids loved it and we are already planning our next visit haha.. can’t stay away now it’s reopened.

I visited this Chinese with My boyfriend and 3 children tonight. Firstly the food all tasted the same greasy. The meat was full of fat, staff were miserable and after finding a hair in my food and complaining, Oreo The supervisor was very rude. The meal cost £85 and he said he would give 6.50 discount a price of a child’s meal, the hair put me off and I couldn’t eat anything else. Very bad customer service, rude staff and bad food I would avoid this place and save your money!!

Someone recommended The Chinese Buffet to us on our recent business trip to Wigan. We enjoyed the atmosphere, we did think the size of restaurant made the area quite cold, but we were aware of doors creating drafts and did notice the staff were trying their best to keep them closed. Food good and hot, seemed fresh and wasn’t overly greasy. Only major problem was the delight smeared on the radiator in the disabled toilet. Someone had posted toilet paper with poo on inside it and smeared their bowel movement on the radiator leaving a very unsightly mess. Not impressed this hadn’t been cleaned or highlighted to staff.Put us off.

Have been going here regularly for several years now - love it - love the food - love the staff and since the room was redecorated a year or two back its now very atmospheric. Just love it - we all love going - usually there are 7 of us but sometimes we sneak off on our own just the two of us at a moments notice!

went to the Chinese.. parked up which I do once every few months...the charges used to be free after 6 pm..I didn't no this had changed to a pound or I would have paid it...I now have a£100 fine to pay....so I won't be going back ther

We have been here before but not for a while so I read the reviews first. Mixed views but we went anyway. Sunday afternoon @£14.99 each. We all got our moneys worth as there was plenty of choice and food was lovely. Vast choice of deserts including fresh fruit and a chocolate fountain. Staff cleared plates quickly and are very pleasant

2nd and last time I have been. Both times have been awful but unfortunately my grandson chose to have there birthdays there because of the amount of food one of them likes to eat. The food was at best Luke warm. The plates although on a bot stand were cold. Best thing about it was the freshly made waffle. To top it all we have just received a parking fine even though we had a blue badge.

We went to the Chinese buffet today for my niece and my sisters birthdays. We all love it there and have had many excellent meals over the years. But today was a little bit different. The food was as it normally is - simple and lovely. The guy serving our table was wonderful - happy and polite. But when we went to pay, the lady at the till was super rude. We all paid separately as we always do, but got nothing but rude remarks from the woman serving behind the till. My sister was told to put a tip in when she paid by card. My niece was asked who was paying the rest of the bill when she paid for her and her daughter. And not politely. I was asked the same when I paid, and again, it wasn’t asked nicely. And then my other niece was spoken to badly when she paid. Yeah, I understand it’s a pain when people pay separately but a) the bill is getting paid and b) not everyone is going to run out of the door without paying so don’t treat them as if they are. I wouldn’t have left a tip usually if I’d gotten such bad service except the guy serving our table was lovely. We paid around £5 tips so make sure it goes to the table service and not the till service. And in future we’ll go and celebrate our birthdays in Speke Chinese buffet. They’re always lovely in there, no matter where they are or how bad their day is.

We hadn’t been there for at least 6 years and decided to give it another visit. The last time was pleasant enough without complaints. Unlike other buffets around the country, soft drinks aren’t free top up so it can work out quite expensive if you fancy another. I tried a soup that they make up while you wait. The ingredients were ok but the broth they poured over was so salty it spoilt the overall enjoyment. I ate the solid parts and left the broth. Quite a few of the items under the hot plates were warm rather that hot. I’m not sure the minimum temp that food shouldn’t drop below to avoid stomach risks but I don’t think a fair few reached that limit. ( food should be more than Lukewarm) Anyway, long story short, won’t be rushing back anytime soon, unless I can be assured the food’s temperature is markedly hotter.

This is a good place to go, good selection of different Chinese foods. The only problem is the food has gone to a lower quality, duck pancakes are now a mix of chicken and duck, there is also less prawn foods than there used to be. If I’d never been before it would probably be a 4 out of 5, but having been previously when the food was better it’s only a 3 out of 5.

I visited on a Sunday lunchtime with my 11 year old daughter. Sign was adults £14.95 juniors 7.50 . I take a junior to be under 14 or 12 at push. We were told you will have to pay £14.95 as you are too tall to my daughter. Bit late as we had already sat down to eat ! I did tell the waiter she was only 11 but was told you are too tall , how discriminatory !!!! Made her feel very uncomfortable she is tall for her age but is it necessary to tell a child that ! Won’t be visiting again

Was invited to family's 16th birthday. All you can eat. Have a good look around before plating up. Beef Black bean was good. Salt and pepper chicken, sweet and sour and the duck. Plenty rice and noodles to choose from. Had 3 visits and then dessert. Would visit again but the place is looking dated and could do with a revamp, especially on furniture.

Called In here on a Tuesday lunchtime and was very pleasantly surprised to find it open. It’s downstairs and much bigger than you might think. The food was pretty good and there was crispy chicken with pancakes rather than duck but that was nice. There was quite a wide selection As well as a number of deserts and staff are friendly. I would come again. Also surprised to find a Chinese restaurant open in Wigan on a Tuesday lunchtime for that I was very grateful

Staff were lovely and very attentive.

Busy, fresh turn around of food, tasty. Would return, good service, drinks come quick. Good range of Chinese food. Dessert tasty. Everything well labelled. Food slightly too salty for my liking and small portions on the grill, I could have asked for bigger ones I suppose (where they cook it in front of you).

Its been more than 12 months since my last visit. I thought that this restaurant has had its day. This type of EAST AS MUCH AS YOU WISH is now a bit stale .

Everything was lovely. Lots of choice BUT, need warm plates. Fodd went cold very quickly. Please get the plate warmers on. Otherwise, all was good for us.

having eaten at the one in St Helen's many times and always enjoyed it and been very happy with the quality, quantity and choice of food,I expected the same from the Wigan one..... oh how wrong was I.

We have visited this restaurant a number of times over the past couple of years and have been satisfied with the quality of food and service. Extremely disappointed with our visit this evening. Food average and lots of it dry and over cooked. I could not believe it when we got the bill that our 10 year old grandchild had been charged adult price. The reason we were given was because she was over 1.5m. She ate one small plate of a main course and had a pancake for dessert. This is discrimination! We will not be eating there again

Arrived for a family meal with me and the wife with 10 yr old and 12 yr old daughters, we was then sat down and told to help our selves, up until then everything was fine..... Then as soon as you get to the food you then realise you have been fleeced. It is worse than school dinners everything is cold, over cooked and dry... You then go to pay for the slops you’ve eaten to be told your young kids are adults £70 for a family of four... my advice ring your local takeaway

VERY disappointed & was so damn hungry that I was getting hangry, we’re not from Wigan & had travelled there for a shopping reason which we did & then thought “right FOOD” & we had happened to park behind The Chinese Buffet so on returning to the car it was the smell that did it we were like the bisto kids & followed our noses, we waited a couple of minutes to be seated & ordered drinks right away which came whilst we went to get food .. now for the disappointment ... they were small sucken silver bowls with a closh on & tbh didn’t hold much food & as we made our way round there wasn’t much food in them, I asked if they were going to be filled up & was assured they would be so myself & hubby got the ‘usual’ bits .. chips, rice, noodles & then really the only one that had enough for 2 in was the sweet & sour chicken, there was no extra sauces to put over your chips or rice etc so then as hubby takes plates back to our table I got a plate of ‘starters’ there was only a few ribs left in the bowl so I took the 2 that looked like they had meat on the rest were very tiny or just bone left, hubby enjoyed the crispy chicken, small spring rolls were pretty tasteless, prawn toast VERY chewy I had to remove it into my napkin, by the time some of the other dishes had been replaced we had to leave to make it back ... very disappointed & would not return or recommend & at a tenner each for lunch ! Nah thank u .. I’ll stick to ‘eat inn’ at Ashton moss & im sorry I cheated on them by going elsewhere & I promise I’ll NEVER do it again

Went to this restaurant for a birthday meal,we found the food excellent and a very good choice,and they do not charge adult prices for children any more,there are now lower prices for juniors and infants which is a much fairer way,the only negative comment I have is that they have a tips container when you go to the counter to pay and if you pay by card they ask you to press a different button to leave a tip I do not object to tipping for good waiter/waitress service but its a buffet and you get your own food and take it back to your table, also for a buffet I think it's quite expensive.

Called in at lunch time on a Sat. We were seated and drinks were ordered swiftly. Not much on offer as it was nearing the end of lunch. No duck for the pancakes....just chicken. Not that impressed. Seemed a bit pricey for what was on offer

Came here on Saturday with a group of 27 great birthday meal. not so good dishonest bar staff. My son was over charged for a glass of Pepsi gave £20 note got £10.70 change. When challenged the manager he said he'd check that evening and telephone us back the next day. Surprise surprise allegedly no discrepancies which is rubbish. Will not recommend and will definitely won't return

Came to the Chinese buffet in Wigan awhile ago and I can honestly say it was superb. The service received by the staff was great and the food is amazing would highly recommed.

Good food and very friendly staff. Also the place is very nice and well presented. Would recommend to anyone to come here for a meal.

Myself and several friends came here for my friends birthday meal and as soon as he walked in we wasn’t greeted by any members of staff and had to find that own way round. We waited 15 minutes to order drinks and when I asked Oreo the waiter he wasn’t bothered because I later found out he was going on his break and when I asked another waitress I was spoken to rude. When I asked can they bring the cake out they came to the table and told me I didn’t have a cake but I hade brought one the staff do not communicate well and have made my experience very disappointing!! This then spoiled the surprise as my friend knew that there was a cake and when it EVENTUALLY came to the table the woman said who’s it for and wasn’t happy at all and was being so rude so then it was totally not a suprise and had actually spoilt my friends birthday...

Visited Wigan branch today at 3pm 28/2/19 never in my life have I had a worse experience than this!! First off food not very warm but let that pass, next dirty fork! Had to be changed twice, the server literally threw it on the table the 2nd time we asked him to change it. Then the latte was luke warm so I asked him to warm it to be told he can only do it in the microwave. Next the food! Well it was way below par for £10 a person, the meat was chewy the vermicelli deffo wasn't vermicelli it was a mass of white slop! I am so disappointed so wanted to speak to the manager to be told the manager was on day off, so I asked to speak to deputy manager only apparently they don't have one. They wanted to charge for one meal as there were two of us but all what was eaten were a small piece of onion omelette and two chicken wings! The whole experience was a nightmare plus ur staff need to learn customer service as when we were leaving he shouted don't come back!! So embarrassing.

Came here with my 11 year old daughter at tea time, on arrival was asked my daughter's age (11) and was told she would be charge full price. Why are 11 year olds charged full price? It has on the door kids £6.50 and juniors £7.50 I'd love to know what age a junior is classed at? And it did not state on the door that 11 years or above will be charged £17! I wouldn't have entered if this was made clear. They wait until you are seated then tell you so it would be embarrassing to leave in front of everyone. The food was nothing special and the place was absolutely freezing cold! I went to the ladies toilets they were a mess, so had to use disabled toilet, I discovered that the radiators were not even on!

worst food i ever saw, tried the soup to start with it was like eating raw egg whites i left this an whent to try the chicken wings and ribs of which ther was only a few which looke shrifled up an dry so i didnt even put them on my plate so i saw the prawn toast which were so dryed up i didnt even try them ,,, then i just got a bowl of chips which i left as yet again all dryed up must have been from the afternoon,, i tried a dish with chicken in which i left most of it,, i ende up just having deserts,, an when i asked the woman for an ice cream her face was thunder as she was trying serve on the omlett bar inbetween washing up, she was avery un polite and un happy, i also had to get my own drinks and ask for my table to be cleared, in between keep telling them half ther bufett needs toping up,,all in all worst unpleasant meal i ever had i will never go again

Went here with my daughter and grandson for lunch. Staff are very polite and helpful and the food was great and hot definitely recommend it.

we visited this dump on saturday about 4pm we were told it changes from lunchtime to evening menu at 5.30 we thought it would be ample time.

Had a very good evening. Food choice was very good with all the hot food being hot. It was being replenished. Particularly liked the crispy duck and goose yung. Desert choice also very good with fresh fruit to go on pancakes or waffles. Bottle of wine reasonable for £16.95 for rose. 5 adults with drinks £120. Can't go wrong for that.

At £15:99 a head this Chinese buffet in Wigan is now poor value for money and totally over priced for the quality and variety of Chinese food provided. A child of 12 years old is classed as an adult and in my opinion would not eat the same portions as an adult. Even my 15 year wouldn't ! This makes it a very expensive buffet for a family of 4 .

The food was poor and I found a hair in one of the dishes. The staff are very arrogant and denied the fact it was the restaurants fault as it was an open buffet. The hair seemed to match the women who worked there. She denied it Several times and she was rude and even asked us for a tip witch was very rude and cheeky of her. Never will I go there again. The desserts were limited and kids sized and tasted of crap. Found a nail set within the jelly and she denied it once more and said it could be anyone’s. But it was set in the jelly so had to be a chef’s nail

Part of a chain The Chinese Buffet is certainly the leader in excellent buffet style Chinese dining. The Wigan restaurant is very well positioned in central Wigan with paid parking if required. But it’s the staff that makes this place,very helpful and happy when bringing drinks or help to direct you to the fabulous range of food. The small trays of food appears to keep the food fresh and very tasty. 10/10

Never come here again !!! It’s disgusting the chicken is pink the food is cold !!! Got home and was not feeling well!! Would NOT RECOMMEND!! This restaurant 1 bit

Good hot food, reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and helpful with food and nut allergies. As long as you are not expecting a gastronomic flight for £13 you won't be disappointed. There is something for everyone here.

Situated at the bottom of Standish Gate, parking is relatively easy.

Well decorated this is a pleasant restaurant with delicious food, cooked fresh and kept well stocked. There is a good variety of dishes served piping hot and you can go back as many times as you want. The desserts aren't that great but there is a chocolate fountain and freshly made pancakes and waffles to your order.

£46 2 adults, 2 large cokes, 1 amaretto & coke, 1 JD and coke. Im sure it was £15.99 per person, so £14 for those 4 drinks, the amaretto wasnt even branded and was awful, both shorts served with a ‘dash’ of coke too so weren’t ever going to last long.

I thought we would try here again after eating at the Bolton branch and loving the experience there. Unfortunately not the same at all very disappointing.

Went here 12th August 2018 for my nephews 18th birthday the food was terriable extreamly dry had no taste what so ever and very bland extreamly disappointed as it’s gone really down hill since the last time I went there

Had a 3 day break to Wigan love Chinese food for last 45+ years food was fresh and excellent choice and staff very courteous and efficient ate here 2 nights will visit Wigan again just to eat here again

Only ever been off peak I think there is more options at peak times but the staff are always nice to the children and the food is nice

Been to the blackpool branch many times. Thought we would try this and was not dissapointed ..helpful staff .big choice of food well cooked and spotless on hygiene. .well done management and staff.

I visited here a few years ago now, with some friends and the journey was well worth it, the food was delicious and the restaurant was open and welcoming!

me and my brother visited made us pay upfront, when nobody else had to pay until they had finished their meal,,which is an insult. Did they think I was going to rob the place. There wasnt much choices and the food was very Bland, will not be going there again

I’ve been here a few times and really enjoyed the food. My wife hadn’t been before so we decided to go. Wish we hadn’t bothered. £37.50 later felt we had truly been ripped off. The food was so bland and the choices where shocking not like before where you where spoiled for choice. Never will we go again HORRIBLE yuk.

Amazing food and a lovely dining experience. We travel from Cumbria to visit this lovely restaurant, the food and service are excellent and we love the teppanyaki bar. Needless to say we have already booked our accommodation to stay in Wigan again for both of our birthday treats. Thank you.

Used to love this place. Hadn't been for a while so was really looking forward to going here with a few friends. So disappointed it's really gone down hill. The food just wasn't very good. There wasn't as much choice as I remember and the quality was poor. Won't be returning.

Visited tonight for my birthday. Booked via telephone but sounded like the lady wasn't even making a note of it as she didn't even ask for my name, I had to ask if she wanted it.

Food is definitely not as good as previous visits. Staff are not as friendly either. Very rude lady replacing the trays..shame nice restaurant setting

Arrived here at around 21.40 on a Saturday night. Staff were welcoming and advised that whilst the restaurant didn't close until 22.30, the bar would be closing at 22.00. The food was Ok and our party of 11 all enjoyed it. Mind you we had been out most of the day and so were very hungry. The restaurant was clean and the service good, despite he nearing closing time.

We used to go to TCB in Bolton which was one of the first ones and therefore use this as the standard. Unfortunately this visit didn't match up to the past.

First time at this buffet, all food was hot and good flavours, all family enjoyed it including my 5 year old, will be returning in the future.

Went early today paid 13.99 to throw up two hours later, made me ill will not be returning. My friend was the same. Shocking

Entered buffet 1hr30 minutes prior to price change (from £8.99 lunch to £15.99 evening price change) had soup and prawn crackers to start. Went to main buffet to be greeted by empty pans, there was no food left. Asked when this would be replenished and was ignored twice. Got a few spring rolls and sat for a while. Then asked a waiter why the food had not been replenished for the last 30 minutes. Returned to buffet to see if anything had been replenished. Asked a different waiter and waiter physically removed the plate from my hand and shouted at me. It was clear that they were making people wait for food to increase the time that diners were in the restaurant as if you pay after the evening meal time has begun you have to pay the higher price. Have never been asked to leave (or shouted at) in a restaurant before and will not be returning to this establishment. I made it clear to the manager before I left (without paying) that I would never be returning and that the service was terrible, at this point the waiter that had shouted at me began shouting at me again in Chinese! I suppose that the food I had )soup and prawn crackers with 4 spring rolls) was good but the service is unbelievably poor and therefore do not recommend this establishment.

Just had lunch here, very disappointing. the food was awful, very little choice and what was there looked and tasted like it had been there for a few days, let alone hours. It was very bland compared to other Chinese buffet we had, at different places.

I felt the establishment was nice and the fact you can go back as many times as you want, but I felt that at times I felt I had to rush as they came back for the plate way to early, the custard was to sweet for my taste and I did ask if there was any squirty cream instead, plus the marshmallows was a little stale as if they had been out for ages but the rest of the food was really nice and I felt the doughnuts was a little dry.

I’ve been to this establishment a few times in the past but I visited recently for my uncles 60th as it’s a place he hadn’t been before. We arrived during the lunch service. We dined during the week so the price was a little cheaper. There was a lot of choices to choose from. You really are spoiled for choice. I do feel though they should of had the chocolate fountain on as some of the deserts like the mini doughnuts and cakes are very dry on their own. The food that we had was nice and hot and was replenished within a reasonable amount of time. We was served and looked after by a lovely member of staff called Sarah. She was very helpful and polite and she went out of her way to make my uncle celebrate his birthday. In fact she made a desert plate and got the rest of the guests to join in when singing happy birthday. She is a credit to the restaurant and a privilege to have her wait on you.

Used this chain for the first time due to location and easy. Food is as you would expect for a Chinese buffet, some English dishes if you require. Sweets also available. As much as you can eat for those hungry people.

Choices was amazing..even for me the fussy vegetarian...my chicken nugget loving 7 year old could not get enough of the many chicken options...10 year old had 3 plates and enormous deserts and the other half left feeling ill from eating 20 too many duck wraps. Absolute hit all round.

We have been many times before, not sure if its been taken over but its had some work done. There now appears to be less choice than there used to be on the hot buffet items. Also most of the items we tried were barely warm which is very worrying as this could make you poorly so they got left to one side. The salt & pepper chicken wings & mushroom foo yung were nice & hot enough to eat. There is now a larger choice of desserts for those with a sweet tooth. Given we were put off by the temperature of the food it wasn't value for money at £15 per head. They did start to replenish the dishes before we left but i had been put off by that point. Perhaps it was bad timing on our part but we did visit at lunch time...

Visited here with my partner and 7 year old for my birthday as its the only time of year I can drag my partner along on account of him not being a Chinese fan. It was definitely worth the wait, all the food was piping hot and there was a great choice for everyone, even my picky son who ended up having three plates full and considering my partner 'doesn't like' Chinese he didn't do to bad !! I asked where the curry sauce was and was informed it wasn't on the buffet but they were happy to get the chef to make a bowl for me, no trouble at all :)

To anyone wishing to visit: beware! The food is so good and the choice so great, that you'll be struggling to walk out! I'm not a greedy person, and I prefer buffets because I can choose and then reject various foods, as opposed to only one main in a restaurant. I'm an extremely picky eater, and usually leave half of things on my plate (even if I only take a spoonful). I cleared all my four plates at this place. I had to unbutton my jeans on the bus home. The food was so fresh and hot, the service so lovely and friendly, that I couldn't believe I was at a buffet! Absolutely worth the money for the quality it provided, and I'm so excited to return.The only issue was that I couldn't eat enough of all the delicious plates.P.S.: it's worth paying £15 for the desserts alone.

Excellent location in Wigan town centre. Plenty of choice foodwise with professional presentation, lovely decor inside the building and welcoming and very friendly staff. A great atmosphere and good for milestone birthday parties (i.e. 18th, 21st etc)! All-you-can-eat buffet is great value for money. Highly recommended! 5*! Keep up the good work guys :)

This is the second time we have been to this restaurant. The customer service is second to none and the food is excellent especially the teppanyaki noodle bar where you can construct your own dishes and have them cooked there and then by the chef. There is also a salad bar and sushi and deserts including a mr whippy ice cream machine. What more do you want. We make the journey from Cumbria just to dine here. All you can eat and several drinks for two still only came to sixty quid. It's a non brainer and will definitely be returning. A big thank you to all the staff at The Chinese buffet

I love the 1 in st Helens so as this is nearer to me I wanted to go but it wasn't any were near as good. So would not be returning. It tasted good but the variety was not as good and a lot of my favourite items were missing.

It smelt delicious.. It all looked very inviting, hot and fresh, but even the veg had Gluten in it in the sauce they put on it. I was really looking forward to the meal with my mum and sister, so this was very frustrating!

Little bit on the expensive side however foods always hot fresh and tastes amazing cocktails are good and the place is always clean.

First time to Chinese buffet wigan. We was greated by Jenny and shown to our seats anf had a chat she was lovely . Food was beautiful the trays was being filled up regular so nothing was run down. We asked for more drinks and another lovely girl called Jamie served us. She was really nice. We really enjoyed our afternoon with you and your wonderful staff. We will definitely call again next time we're in Wigan. Thankyou

I would like to take a second to share my absolute anger at the Wigan chain of your restaurant's, my mum came to dine there on Sunday 2nd of July, on arrival she told the staff that she had just undergone major gastric surgery and could not eat an adult meal! She was celebrating my brothers 21st birthday and even though she could of said that she wouldn't eat she kindly said that she would pay for a child's meal (even though she knew that she could only eat about 3-4 table spoons full) she felt this was reasonable, only for your staff to ask if she had proof of this operation!!! My mum said no sorry, the only proof she had were her scars! To my horror the "MANAGER" then asked her to show them to her, not in a private room but in FRONT OF THE WHOLE RESTAURANT! I'm disgusted and me and my family will never be returning here again
