Chips full of grease curry tastes burnt weeks ago complained beef was off.

Delayed and incomplete order. First time ordering won’t be using again.

Missing items, deep fried combination and crispy spring rolls. Plus delivery was 15 mins late.

Food delivered on time. Delicious and piping hot.

They treat their staff like absolute rubbish and shout and ball for small reasons which is absolutely and completely unacceptable

A great place I’m a regular here. Very pleasant and friendly staff who offer Fantastic service. Special mention to Cindy Gemma and Kelvin who always make you feel so welcome and it really is service with a smile. Recommend all the menu in particular sweet sour king prawn in batter. with rice . We use the takeaway quite often and can honestly say never had a bad experience. Food is lovely, especially the salt & pepper mega box! My kids wouldn't let me order from anywhere else they love it from here.

We were not kept informed about the revised delivery time

No beansprouts in the soft noodles with beansprouts. WHY? Beansprouts are dirt cheap, probably cheaper than noodles. None of the food was up to the usual standards

The soup tasted funny and so we didn’t eat it and the Singapore rice was too hot

the beef and mushroom was not as good as usual. I have it every time and I don't think I will be having it again very soon. It was very fatty, leaving a skim on the top and it was cold.

the beef chow main was more onion than anything else not much beef very poor

food lovely as always but the mega box was no bigger than the normal box not worth the extra money.

Delivery was over half an hour late. The salt and pepper chicken was the worst I’ve ever had .

Chips were nice but been put in the smaller side of container so got less the bean sprouts noodles were quite dry 😒 and you can’t go wrong with the fried rice

Everything tasted the same and smelt the same no difference between what was what , I ordered duck and got a load of bone and gristle the tastiest thing I had was the won tons , won’t be ordering again

Food always plentiful, warm and probably the best tasting in Golborne, never had any issues.

Arrived 1hr 35 mins after order. Changed delivery times twice.

i have been cooking for 30yrs plus and i have always loved beefy chippy gravy, but i have to say this is (and i have to say its all chippys these days) just flavourless brown water, thick brown water in fact, and i have to say that the chippy game is very dissapointing as a result of this

First time ordering from here - food was really nice. The Salt and Pepper Chicken, Salt and Pepper Chips and Noodles were bob on. Chicken in garlic and chilli sauce was nice, but probably wouldn't order again as could only really taste the garlic, not a lot of chilli. Overall, really nice and will be ordering from here again! ☺️

it was nice but only warm and fish bit soggy put in airfryer 5 minutes and it was lovely would still use them again

Last time I was here the chips tasted warmed up not nice, the barm cake was a bit sloppy and crumbly like it had been frozen and defrosted not good

Omg where can I start with this. Chinese food was okay. Smack barm bang average. Fish and chips avoid. The fish is like pakora or wet news paper. If you can't make a decent fish just don't run a chippy. Baring in mine they had two chances to redeem thereselfse with this. Fair play to them that they brought a replacement but even the delivery driver says there food is terrible and avoid it. Seriously just close the place down. You can't even get the basics right.

food was great only problem was we ordered 2 fried rice and it didnt come with the order however after phoning the chippy it did come really quick so thanks

The metal not was delivery yet . How long I need to wait?

Beef and broccoli in oyster sauce was grim, the sauce was tasteless, viscous and gloopy. The banana fritters didn't have any syrup on them either. The rice portion wasn't great and there were hard crusty bits of rice in it. The meat and the veg was cooked well and it was hot and cheap but I wouldn't order it again sadly.

Food was okay just very long waiting time. Orderd my food about 19:20 food was delivered 21:05

Really greasy food fish was sloppy and even more greasy

delivery driver was horrible accused us of taking too much change off him when he handed us too much. when he returned we handed the over payment in change back and he accused us of it still being short. it's only when looking we found it where he had dropped it and it had gone behind the door

Awful food, I can’t describe how bad it was. Really sad. I didn’t think takeaways would put such badly prepared food out! Avoid the Chinese option!

Food was bland and cold and not tasty. Waited ages and £15 for sausage chips and gravy and a burger! Wow

Spent over £40 on a takeaway tonight and was hugely disappointed. The supposed half a duck was old, hard, cold and inedible. The seeweed may as well have not bothered arriving it was cold and chewy! The chow mein never seen a noodle was swimming in water. I’ve been here previously and it was ok not great however after waiting 2 hours I will not go here again!!

Normally service, food and delivery are spot on, tonight there seemed a long delay to delivery after notification. Food barely lukewarm but still good when finally warmed up. Suspect multi drops by the driver 🤷‍♂️

Most dishes seemed like they were old and/or re-heated as the duck (which was supposed to be half a duck and came as half a filled tub of shredded) was dry and chewy, as well as the ribs. After waiting so long, I was very disappointed in the dishes that arrived after paying over 40 pounds for it. Wouldn’t recommend…

The meat in the curry was off, refund refused on the grounds each outlet has its own recipe!! £10 for an inedible meal just isn’t good enough

Really Disappointed this time usually the food is lovely but tonight I found the special Satay bland and very watery and the fried rice was hard and bitty

Ribs were rock hard - just batter more than meat. Salt and pepper chicken was that over cooked couldn’t eat it. Chips were burnt

Service is always excellent and there curry & rice always excellent too.

Ordered as showed 40-55 mins delivery, once ordered increased to 60-70mins. Then notification to advise delayed a further 25 mins. Attempted to cancel but unable to due to food being prepared. 95 mins after ordered it said it had been delivered… no food. Rang and advised 2 mins away. Food arrived 1hour 50mins after ordered. Over 60mins later than when ordering. Chips were soggy like they’d been left for hours and gravy and sausage cold. Poor.

Due to being pushed back on time from chippy bar. When the food got to us 30mins late. Food was cold n soggy. Gravy had no taste. Werent my best experience.

All ways been happy with my orders but the fried rice wasnt full in the tub like usual.and the chip barn was like the last of the chips of the night all hard went straight in the bin. Was a bit disappointed to be honest

Order pushed back so was later than usual but notified.. chips where abit cold. I did order chicken in batter thought it come with pineapple in the sauce but was sent sweet and sour chicken balls.. why? Didn’t enjoy went in the bin. Kids seemed a little funny with the chicken chow mein. Other than that delivery man is cheery!

Not sure why this takeaway has any bad reviews as the food was spot on, arrived a little later than expected but was well worth the wait!

ordered salt and pepper chips and got normal chips, and everything was cold

food was nice. However, the chicken curry only had about 6 pieces of chicken in it was more onion curry than chicken. the rest was lovely though

Majority of meal was lovely but the duck was burnt it was just crisp and no meat. And I think because of this it looked a lot smaller than a normal portion. Luckily we could split the chicken between the 2 of us.

We had two different Chinese dishes which were very nice.

Late but who cares Saturday night must be busy. Worth waiting for because the food is delicious

Disappointing, chips was nice, salt and pepper chicken was terrible the chicken was over cooked balls and i could tell they had been microwaved they was all stuck together and hard I did not eat them they went straight in the bin. Chilli cheese balls was no better wasted my money. I should of made it myself as mine is so much nicer but i was tired and wanted treat myself I’m so annoyed. Never again first and last time from here. Worst Chinese meal ever.

Two chip barms curry and gravy. What could go wrong! Chips were not good. Scraps and sharp bits - not good at all. Hurt your mouth eating them on the butty and lots of bad black bits in them. Gravy and curry good. Delivery driver really nice though. We aren’t coming back now it’s just too bad now quality wise . We keep trying but it’s terrible quality.

Fantastic food and service, for our 100 gets at our 40th Wedding Anniversary. Made our night perfect, and our guests loved it. Thank you so very much Lina and staff at the chippy bar. It is highly recommended and amasing service, Cathie, Kevin, family and friends
