Ordered food for 8.30 delivery , it came at 7.30 when we weren’t in . They only agreed to recook the food if the original order wasn’t opened??? ( wonder what its fate was) They delivered, took the original order and the meal was shocking , so salty .zyerrible service and shocking customer care . Won’t be ordering again

Excellent service, clean & fresh dishes that avoid too much salt, sugar or gloop. Courteous and swift deliveries, I definitely rate these as best locally within a few miles.

Hard chips that taste like warmed up left overs. Chicken curry that was just a watery sauce with some rubber chicken, some frozen peas and half a raw onion. The beef with mushrooms should be renamed as lumps of gristle with mushrooms in sauce. Egg fried rice..... no egg in it, but then again it would have been impossible to spot as the rice was brown and burnt. I would take the rest of the "great" reviews with a pinch of salt. This is NOT good food. I have had better microwave meals. This place seems to have many many FAKE reviews all claiming great food. I left a review on Just Eat, however, the review has been changed by someone to look more favourable, and magically, 2.5 stars - I actually only rated ONE star because I had to choose a star, when will review sites actually let the people choose ZERO stars?? Anyhow I am writing this sat on the toilet, where I have been for the last 2 hours, I daren't leave! I'm sure you all can guess why.

Food tonight was terrible ordered chicken with chilli and garlic was just watered juice no garlic or chillie and 2 lots went straight in the bin - don’t know what happened but a great waste of money - used to use all the time but will never go back under these hard times take sways are a treat but not if you have to throw them away

Foods always good. Quick delivery and lovely staff. Just a bit disappointed tonight as I ordered salt and pepper chicken and chips, it had plenty of onions, one slice of pepper and no chilli's in it.

The best Chinese in Golborne. The food is always good quality, hot and most of all delivery is always super fast! Definitely recommend the Singapore noodles, the salt and pepper chicken and the combination starter. The prices are also very reasonable if you want a treat on a budget!

Ordered food first time, wasn't on the menu. Called them and they were so accommodating. Paid on card and food was here in 15 minutes... The best service I have had in years... Thanks guys...

New to the area and tried a few Chinese takaways a couple ok 1 should be closed down ..but this was the best curry I've had in years also super fast service,super cleanliness (5* food rating speaks for itself )this will definitely be my go to going forward thank you

Delivery prompt however the food was dire and ended up in food recycling caddy!!! The rice was cold and sludgy - the prawn dish was conjealed and cold - the only edible item was the free prawn crackers! Maybe we got them on a wrong day but wouldn't use again!!

Salt/pepper ribs..absoult rippoff…must be 500% mark up on thishit…come on ur mekin a fortune at least deliver….

Ordered at 5pm for a 7pm delivery. At 7.10 I just got a message to say order cancelled. No reason. No apology. Really not good enough. Avoid at all costs.

Absolutely the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten. If you want your chicken to taste like jelly.... this is the place for you! RANK ROTTEN!!

First time ordering from this shop today through foodhub. It said 50mi wait, I gave it an hour and thought I'm best ringing. I was told it will be another 30minutes, so I cancelled the order. I hate practices like that, if you're busy, be honest on how long, or stop asking orders. I won't try here again. I can't comment on the quality of the food, obviously Haha.

Woks cooking is usually my favourite Chinese take away however tonight for my birthday it was the most disappointing ever, the chicken didnt taste right, when we went to collect the staff were arguing with each other our food wasnt ready even when online said it was. We waited, one of the males was shouting at the female, one driver said he was leaving so after waiting not even free prawn crackers no nothing, with current times being tough I was really looking forward to my birthday tea and was really disappointed not happy.

Great takeout. Anything we have ordered from Woks Cooking is excellent. Usually order on an app. No hassle easy to use and never have to wait too long. Well done!

Called in placed an order paid , waited only 15 minutes for it to be cooked great . Took home 2 main meals missing. Rang back lady shouting over phone said it wasn't ordered if maybe she read my order back to to me and double check with me when leaving not a issue. Got delivered 40 minutes later and had the nerve to charge me £1 extra for delivery, On top . Food was ok but the 3 munchy salt and pepper boxes very dry and taste of old oil .

I really won’t go into detail but it ended up in the waste bin I just hope the pigs will eat it. Seriously you wouldn’t eat this yourself! Thankfully the dog enjoyed the duck !

We have a weekly takeaway. Fillet steak in black pepper sauce is excellent. Huge portion of steak. Love the ribs too. Always very speedy service.

Just eaten from here, it was very very bland, I had crispy chilli beef and hubby had sweet and sour, but we had the exact same sauce, that’s so lazy!! Won’t be ordering again from here!! Saving grace was the salt and pepper chips, a bit of flavour or would of been two stars.

Food is fine here but there's so much competition in the town. We prefer the Wok-In (Previously Choi's) but Woks Cooking comes a close second. We especially like the batter from here so dishes like sweet and sour chicken balls and the sweet (Sticky) chilli dishes are good

I have always loved it here, however a young lady has been hired here who is a drunk. Well known nearby for being alcoholic. Which in reality puts a really bad presentation on the restaurant with a drunk woman up front who can barley stand
