Passing through Ormskirk at lunchtime and saw Toby Carvery, pulled in and found the Fiveways. We both had the Carvery which was an excellent choice of Lamb, Turkey, Gammon or Beef. We both had Turkey and Beef the accompanying vegetables were excellent and even though stood on a hot plate were not dried up. The place is spotlessly clean the toilets smelt fresh and clean. One of the best Cavey's we have had., and the price was very reasonable @ÂŁ15.48 for two

I have been to this pub 3 times this year, the last time was by far the worst. The Scottish bar lady is so rude and put her fingers up at us as she walked past. So unprofessional, so rude, so bad for business. I love this pub but I feel that someone need to have a word!

This is the worst chippy I have ever been to. The chips are not fresh and are greasy. The fish was hard and again greasy Absolutely awful

My boyfriend and myself had a Salt and pepper munch box costing ÂŁ20. It was our treat for valentines day. We both ended up with food poisoning cos we think the food was reheated cos it was valentines day and they knew they were going to be busy . They have certainly lost our custom cos we only live round the corner and it was handy for us.

No wonder. Over priced coffee, dirty tables, dirty floors, dirty toilets. What more do you want from your local coffee shop. Good luck to the new Managing Director

Friendly staff greeted us as soon as we arrived, despite being busy they cleared a table for us and offered us menus as we sat down. After we'd had time to browse the menu they let us know what the soup of the day was and asked if we were ready to order. Once we had ordered our meals (veggie lasagne and a cheese omelette) our drinks were quickly prepared so we enjoyed those whilst we waited for our food. The portion size was ideal for lunch and it is real comfort food. We enjoyed our visit to the cafe as it was relaxed and the staff were brilliant. Would definitely recommend!

Place has very rude staff, which have experienced on multiple occasions. Standard of coffee is poor and drinks always cold. Is no longer dog friendly, which will prevent me from visiting again.

My second review after not a good one in February. Having said that, my visits since then have been fine until Friday. At 1pm, the cafe was as busy as I have seen it, I was informed by the young man at the till there would be a delay in drinks and food. Tea arrived after about 10 minutes, my two toasted crumpets took 43 minutes. How long does it take to toast and butter a crumpet, about two minutes. The server apologised for the delay and said...I do not know why that happened. One person said there would be a delay, the other had no idea why there was a delay.. Not much communication going on, but to be honest, nobody in the Cafe looks in charge. Booths a premium supermarket, better than Waitrose and M&S with its fresh fish and meat counters etc, has a cafe that is run like a Greasy Spoon.

Nothing like a McDonald's to calm pre-wedding nerves :) especially when you have an hour to find two random witnesses Update: 7 years later, a child together and another one possibly on the way still think this was the best drive thru I have ever been to. And yes I did spill ketchup on my shirt. God Bless 🙏
