McDonald's in West Lancashire

What more is there to say......this is probably the worst McDonalds in the whole universe. You are lucky to get please or thank you when you order, you always get parked, the food is ALWAYS cold, and if you dare to complain, they totally do...

Cueing out of the door for a sausage and egg muffin. 20 or so delivery drivers laying in wait. Staff look tired and miserable. 20 minutes to get my order. Politely expressed my disappointment and suggested they should pay more attention to face to face...

The food was absurd and I will never in a million years go to this sodding Maccies. The service was awful and all the staff are thick indbreds.

Literally always forget something. Once again missing chips from our order. 5 meals....how hard is it to add 5 chips. Must make a fortune from people paying for items they dont receive. Rubbish service as always !

Went through the drive through today and got my food home to find they had forgotten to put one of my items in the bag and the food we did get was cold. Haven't used this store for a while and now I remember why.

Called into the drive through tonight. Only ordered a 9 piece nugget meal and 2 mcflurries... paid for 2 dips... how can you NOT put the dips in.. Really??? This is ridiculous.... it's not even a big order.. its 1 meal that has dips.Honestly this place is a joke.

I was picking up my lunch today, and I had my mask on etc, all the screens for ordering was empty and the woman known as “Pam” was horrible towards me and other people behind me, the customer behind me had his mask on outside the door and she said “get your mask on now”, I’ve been multiple times and it’s the same woman every time I go in, there’s nice people there but she’s horrible and lets the place down.

Every time I visit I am disappointed food orders always incorrect time and time again. Went in this evening fiid order wrong no sauces despite ordering and paying for extra sauces. Fiid stone cold. I think it's time to stop going to maccies

There are too many disasters to list. Burned Fillet is a speciality, as is plain double cheesburgers with ketchup, cold fries, cold Big Mac wrong order, staff (including a crew trainer that can't even manage please or thank you)This is honestly the worst McDonalds experience you could wish for.AVOID AVOID AVOIDWhoever owns this disastrous franchise needs to wise up. Got a plain chicken mayo burger but gave me everything on it and went back got new one no sorry about it but its happened every week SKELMERSDALE MCDONALDS CONCOURSE SHOPPING CENTRE

a large strawberry milkshake is my one true vice, i know it can't be good for me but every now and then i slip and love every hard fought suck through that straw, while i'm at it the mayo on the chicken sandwich is incredible

To be fair, the food was acceptable. It is the environment that spoils it for me. I am not a fan of places crowded with kids like this place but obviously the kids and their parents need go somewhere and they like this place. Using a car here is risky as the ANPR cameras log your entry to the Concourse shopping area. If you return within 2 hours (which is easy to do) or somehow infringe any of the Private Parking Company rules you will be hit with a stiff fine. Parking is controlled by ex clampers and their attitudes have not changed. They were even fining taxi drivers in the early days for returning within 2 hours. How ridiculous is that.

I had been working until late in the morning and was tired but hungry after not eating for 14 hours. I went through the drive through and was told I would have to wait a little as they were making my Big Mac ? fresh.When I bit into my tasty treat all I could taste was the burnt brown bits you see in the photos. The burger/pate itself was thinner than a burnt stick insect. The whole thing went in the bin never ever ever again shall I park with cash for "food" at this place or regurgitated yak burger. I think they look in the bins and see what they can sell back to tired people.Won't even waste the petrol to drive back and tell them as it's gone 4 in the morning and I need to forever wash the taste out of my mouth and memory.

Chips where cold, my ice late was half full which is probably a good thing, because it was disgusting and the girls where so rude, if you are not happy working somewhere LEAVE.

I visited McDonald's on Friday 21st June at 8:50pm, and noticed at the time of paying, the male manager sneezing into BOTH of his arms, then immediately put chips into a takeaway bag. I put up a fuss about how disgusting I thought it was and demanded a refund. All the manager could say was, it was only his arms he sneezed into, not his hands. Livid wasn't the word. No apologies or anything. No wonder the rest of the staff in there are dirty, when the manager sneezes, touches food, and doesn't see how he's in the wrong...

In last 6 months this McDonalds food has been cold and orders are not correct going down hill fast shall not eat in this one againe

Mc drive through should be renamed as Mc park in Bay..... Every time I go here it’s the same story. If you want something that isn’t a Big Mac or Mc Chicken sandwich then it’s park in Bay... Yesterday hit a new low as not only were all the bays full, but also the loading bay in front of the restaurant and the taxi only part had customers waiting. This was 5pm... Tea time? Should you not be prepared for this and have food ready??

Just about everytime I come to this McDonald's, I witness the staff doing something disgusting. Usually the cleaner decides to brush up under my feet while I'm eating, or she will put rubbish in the bin then go behind the counter to collect someone's table service, without washing her hands. Today I saw a male scratching his head and coughing into his hands, while someone else licked his fingers to open a take away bag. Needless to say, I didn't order anything

Honestly asked for 5 chicken select meal got told they needed to put more chicken in as the boy had only put 4 peices in waited 10 mins got thrown the brown bag to me out the window drove of to find its a three peice select meal how thick are these monkeys working in skelmersdale McDonalds othere week i got a big mac meal and the freaks forgot to put the burgers on. It really is just a gang of fat scummy skem monkeys working in there. Uncles are their dads and the motheres are their sisters kinda place.

Ordered and paid for double sausage and egg mcmuffin meals but got single sausage. Later in the day ordered two big tasty with bacon meals but no bacon on either. Felt thrown together.

Long wait for food when ordering at the till or using the screens, staff are too busy chatting and having fun to server customers, Got an extra drink we didn't order, so had to ask the manager to refund us. The food was okay, nothing special, but at least it didn't arrive cold. The place is clean enough.

Forgot to put in 7 Hash Browns, Coffee is cold, 2 sauces between 6 meals 1 sugar between for coffees, how hard is reading a screen and putting food in a bag, and me burger was folded in half

Went in for a family treat. Used the screen. WAITED 20 MINUTES FOR FOOD! Got told it’s because they were busy. Rubbish. 3 cars in the drive thru. Less than 10 people inside. Silly, immature staff laughing and giggling with no answers. Really annoyed by the service here tonight. VERY poor indeed.

As always after a night shift on a Friday I crawl myself into my car, drive at 100mph to the nearest McDonald and then crawl myself out and into the restaurant...

The food not too bad and didn't have to park up which is most unusual but for the first time in ages I never checked the contents of the bags and low and behold missing a box of 9 nuggets very disappointed saving grace went on line and went on McDonald's review web page and hopefully I'll get reimbursed.

Stooped off here for bit of breakfast one winter's morning and the place has really improved since the refurb and the introduction of the automated ordering system. Really quick at receiving my order from placing it.

Worst Macdonalds I have been in, and I’ve been in macdonalds all around the world. Since they made the double drive through they ask more customers to park up. When challenged they lacked any apology, were rude and evidenced no customer service skills at all. Not surprising given the staff are on zero hours minimum pay. There argument was you only had to park up for a minute, my response is if it’s only for a minute why make me park up, the so called manager needs a lesson in good manners.

Food and staff here is just like any other Mc Donald's. Now they have done it up there is 2 lines in the drive through which has gone even slower and even starts arguments on who is next to get to the window to pay this is a really bad idea should of stayed with the one lane. They should of really did some thought into making the queue better getting into the drive through.

its a new and upgraded restaurant, but still sells the same food as other McDonalds restaurant. but i will say that the McMuffins, the Apple pies, the milkshakes and mcflurries are amazing.

Just been to McDonald's in skelmersdale which has just been made worse than ever, cheese burgers missing and half portion of fries.

Have visited the Skelmersdale branch practically monthly over the past couple of years. Worst Macdonalds in the UK. Terrible staff attitude, orders regularly mixed up, often a wait for basic items, food regularly Luke warm. Macdonalds should step in and close this branch...

Visited this place many times over the last 10 years. Consistently get order wrong. Slowest service i have experienced in any macdonalds. Have now added a 2nd drive through?? What is the point if the food comes out so slow. This morning at 8am had 5 orders parked up? I only wanted one simple thing and still had to park up. If doubling the drive through capacity surely you need to speed up service. Not rocket science.

Somtimes this is the best mcdonalds. Cant fault the actual taste and standard of food but they tend fo forget parts of your order. Ive once come home with a fish fillet and my dad opened it to find no fish inside...

The meal was lovely until a 43 stone whale waddled in smelling even worse than a fishmongers left desolate for a year. I'm sorry, but it put me right off it did. Almost returned my Big Mac into the container I consumed it from.

Food and etc were standard as per all McDonalds, This outlet for me was heavily let down unusually beacause of the tidiness and cleanliness. during my whole visit - about 30 mins the floor or the tables were cleaned. Very unusual for a McDonalds. Staff very pleasant

Very useful for quick bite and occasionally take grandchildren for what they fancy. Quick efficient service. Ample car space. There is also choice of other fast food in this prescint. Concourse shopping centre is very short walk away and has supermarkets, banks, building society, cafes, card shop,travel agents and DIY outlet. Again concourse has three tier car spaces and there is never a problem, parking yout car. CCTV is in operation for your protection.

Went in your restarant today there was a lovely member of staff nicely dresses very polite and welcoming never seen her before must be new meal was lovely nice and hot and kids enjoyed it will be coming back

My son loves going here - what kid doesn't? The food is usually okay. The staff can be very grumpy st times. Toilets are always clean

In fairness, staff here are very polite, but orders are often wrong, Make sure you check your order before you leave.

I've never received bad service when coming to this McDonald's, maybe it's because I order something popular and it's always ready or close to being ready. It could do with better cleaning skills though as sometimes tables are still dirty after there attempted cleaning.

I had to put some calories back on after 2 hours in the gym and I always go for KFC but after walking in and and there being no where to sit because of 20 non english speakers just sitting there I decided for a mackies. I was quickly served although it was quite full and the order came fast. It's the only fast food that hasn't changed in all these years and yes big macs still taste good. Next time I go straight here as KFC seems to be getting like a coffee morning meeting in Warsaw . And I could do without the evil stares just cos I got muscles.

Arrived 1pm on a Friday. Order placed immediately by trainee and number of errors made (but everyone has to learn). Issue was it took over 10 minutes for food to arrive. Wasn't a special order, just two happy meals and a drink for me. No fish fingers were available for happy meal, apparently, yet it was prime time lunchtime. Many diners were waiting for lunch to be brought to tables too. Obviously some issues keeping supply up with demand today. Disappointing.

I have been to various McDonald's and would say the Skem one is one of the best. Friendly staff, quick service, everywhere is clean and tidy. There is usually crayons and paper for the children and/or balloons to take home.

I go in about once a month.Staff are always pleasant and efficient especially to an old fool like me usually gets something wrong when ordering! Don't usually have to wait very long.I've been in quite a few McDonald's both in the u.k. and abroad (Benalmadena,Spain was the worst)and I would say this one in "Skem" is probably the best. I have never been a big fan of McDonald's but this is one of the best I've been in. Food is always hot and the tables are always clean. If some lazy so and so can't be bothered to clear away their rubbish, then the staff get it sorted. Yes the staffs in McDonald's are young but they have always served me with a pleasant manner and a smile on their face.

Walked in,no clean tables rubbish all over the floor,cleaner doing nothing but chatting to one mate after another,what is she being paid for.if I was the franchise owner I would sort it all out before its too late.get the right staff and show some pride in the workplace or does the scruffy nature of the cafe reflect a person's home.itll be the last time I go,I wonder how many more people will say the same

I avoid MacDonalds at all costs but I need the lavatory and this was the nearest when passing through. The smell of rancid cooking oil filled the air. The fries looked plastic and the veg burger was a deep fried lump of mush in breadcrumbs. The coffee was lukewarm and I couldn't understand what the staff were saying.

My girls like Happy Meal and toys.When we eat inside, they during vaiting for food like painting the pictures which is available inside the McDonald's.
