Food here is amazing and the service is really good too. Can be pricey depending what you get but it’s definitely worth the money.

Just left The Sinners Club with my boyfriend and I won't lie after reading a lot of bad reviews I was a little unsure, I used to come here regularly but about 7/8 years ago. Our experience tonight however was absolutely fantastic and we couldn't fault it. We were greeted by a lovely waitress who I believe had only been there a week, she took out food and drinks order and asked how everything was when we asked for the bill. The food was great, portions were a good size and prices were fair. We waited no more than 10/15 minutes for our food and there were a fair few tables in. All in all a very good and positive experience and neither of us would hesitate to come back again. Thank you so much 😊

We were told The Sinners Club had recently just reopened at the beginning of August, so don't be put off by the bad reviews, go and check it out for yourselves and make an opinion for yourself. Honestly the best burger I've had for a long time. They source their meats locally, and the quality is excellent. I had the Mexican burger with cheesy fries and it was all next level delicious.

Horrendous experience! We arrived at the restaurant and were shown to our seats by a lovely waitress. Unfortunately then a different (incompetent) waitress came to take our order. She had to take our order multiple times as she kept getting confused. Then she came back once or twice to double check it after that. We waited and waited for food and then 2 out of the 7 burgers arrived (without the sides they ordered), and they were very bad quality. They were the same standard you would get at a local kebab shop but for 3 times the price and that is without the sides too. After more waiting and no sign of the other burgers, we decided to leave as we refused to pay such high prices for such a low quality experience. The staff apologised and said they were training a new chef but that does not explain why two burgers were served without the sides and why the waitress couldn’t do her job properly. It is a shame as we visited here a few years ago and it was great! Seems like it has gone downhill.

Nothing no Veggie options apart from nachos. Said they were busy today, only had 2 options anyway both vegan. Only a handful of tables occupated 6.30 on a Saturday evening. Asked for no ice in my drink came with ice asked twice if we wanted food even brought knives and fork. Would NOT recommend. Used to be one of our favourite places WILL NOT RETURN

Honestly wouldn’t bother. The food when you eventually get it is alright, we had to share a menu as they didn’t have enough to give out even though it wasn’t really that busy but waiting around for an HOUR for food is a joke, considering the staff which are very young didn’t say anything in advance with the wait either. And when we eventually got the food we wasn’t given any form of apology. I have been before and was decent service and was busier then when I visited today and have no issues hence why I visited again. But the really need to sort the staff out as they look clueless out there with left over baskets and cutlery everywhere and dirty glasses outside too. Deffo won’t be returning

Not been here for years but was in the area. Wasnt expecting much. Burgers amazing, tasty and fresh. Fries large portions and really enjoyed the sundae! I thought the food was reasonably priced. Seen the bad reviews about staff. The staff are all very young and appear quite inexperienced in my opinion. However all friendly and the service was quick and the young lad who served us was friendly enough. We did go quite early on though (5pm) and the place wasnt that busy at all. Will be back to try different burgers from your menu. Reminded me of almost famous!

Sinners used to be be the place to go if you wanted good food We travelled 40 minutes by car Placed out order it wasn't busy by any means After waiting for an hour we asked for our money back and left They tried to give us our food as a carry out Not the the sinners it used to be so disappointing Wouldn't recommend

Best burger and pulled pork by far.

Food is delicious, never waiting long for food to arrive and not over priced. Staff are lovely and welcoming too. We had our 3 children with us (2 toddlers and a newborn) 2 toddlers loved their kids meals.

I really wanted to try here and to be honest I did enjoy the food. However, they could do with better customer service with experienced staff to support the younger staff. Not once during our meal where we offered anymore drinks, asked if the meal was alright or if we needed anything else. Staff brought us the wrong drinks even though it was the same person who took the order, food took over an hour (it wasn't that busy), and I had to go to the bar for the bill. One of the girls was doing her bit but the other tended to like standing behind the bar just watching everyone 🙈. Staff also couldn't advise in terms of the menu e.g. didn't know what was spicy and what wasn't. Which could potentially ruin someone's meal if they don't like spicy food. Unless there is a change to staffing experience I won't be returning, given the reviews on here I'd say I'm not the only one, and whilst we were there I witnessed mistakes on other tables and others where asking where their food was!

I'm not sure what has happened to this restaurant in the last 6 months but it's a shambles now. Ordered takeaway before Christmas and the burgers were completely raw and bloody. I rang up and the said they would replace them, so I went back to the restaurant and they got our order wrong (burger was meant to be plain, wasn't) so I rang up again. They said it would be 15 minutes, so I went back for the third time and they said it would be a further 45 minutes so I got a refund and left. Thought we'd give them another chance, told us 15 minutes so I went. The 3 staff members were huddled around and kept looking at me, until the person I spoke to on the phone hid in the kitchen. Someone else came up to me and said it would be another 15 minutes to wait. So I just left. I'm not being funny but the staff couldn't care, and the chef is ok serving raw food and wrong meals. No communication from them or anything. Very disappointing and an absolute waste of my time. We won't be recommending this restaurant and won't be visiting in the future.

With a group of work friends I attended the Sinners Club on the recommendation of one of our group. It look pretty good when we arrived, cool venue and a great location. The young man hosting just looked confused when we informed him of our reservation. We were pointed to a table that was it. So we made our own way across and sat down. We waited for about 20 mins before a young lady took a drinks order. Luckily we knew what we wanted, because he had not been given any menus. One of group went and found some menus and brought them to the table. A further ten mins passed and one of the group approached the bar to enquire were our drinks were..draught beer... the male staff member gave a confused look and stated he was busy and going as fast as he could. A further 5-10 mins passed and one of our drinks arrived and we were informed that there would a delay on the rest as the barrel needed changing. Eventually the rest of the drinks arrived. By this point we had had time to look at he menus so we ordered as we didn't want to wait any longer and the waitress was there. I was concerned if she walked off we would never get the opportunity to order. The food arrived in good time. But we had not been given any cutlery or napkins. It proved shortly that we needed both as the food was messy to eat. The waitress eventually realised this but only after all the tables food had been delivered. The burgers the table ordered were very good. Grea quality and very tasty. The loaded fries where mediocre which was a shame. The chicken wings over cooked and tough to eat. We were never approached again to see of we wanted any further drinks nor did anyone come to clear the table or to check if everything was ok. We sat until it became unbearable. We as a group approached the bar to pay. We wanted to pay separately. This blew the young man's mind. It was a very frustrating process. We left disappointed completely. All in all its a great shame..our friend who recommended it place said it used to be a busy and bustling venue with great service. It wasn't that busy and the front of house staff were little more than children. There was an adult in the kitchen, I presume the chef but I didn't not see anyone who could possibly be managing the restaurant. It could be a great place but it looks to be winding down. Shame really.

Called at 6pm to book a table for 4 at 7. Arrived at 6:55 and we were pointed to table (not escorted and seated). After 20 minutes, I went to the bar to ask for our drinks order to be taken. At 7:30 (no drinks had arrived) we were told, before we had ordered any food that the wait for food would be an hour and a half…. We left.

We came here after being totally ignored in Hugo’s. Turned out it was a great decision. Greeted when we walked in and told to sit wherever we liked. Wasn’t long before a waiter came and took our drink order and a little later the food order. I had a double cheeseburger with chicken which tasted delicious. My husband had a chicken burger which he really enjoyed. We both had plain fries with a side order of onion rings. Everything was piping hot and the best onion rings I have ever tasted. My husband loved the draught beer and the Merlot wine was delicious. Will go back very soon

First review here was 4 years ago (it was amazing) Had to do an update - this is hands down the best place for a big feed for miles around. Quality food - decent prices, service is great.

We go to Sinners at least twice a month for big fat juicy burgers. We love the atmosphere, the music, the staff are attentive and the food is delicious. Highly recommended 👌🏻

Possibly the best burger I've ever had

We love coming here, plenty of spaces to sit for anyone to doesn't book a table. Service is fast and lovely, food is very delicious and not to expensive either.

Never had a bad experience, alway been good

I have never ever complained or have said I wouldn’t return to a restaurant or anything before even if it was bad, but this place tops it. We went tonight for Fathers Day and was so disappointed. For started we arrived at 5 to 7 for a 7 o’clock booking and was told to go to our table eventually. Straight away as we sat down a waitress came over and said do you want to order food, we hadn’t even looked at the menu yet. 5 minutes later another waiter came and took our order. We was then told 10 minutes later that our food would be an hour! An hour and they close at 8! Unfortunately we stayed. An hour and 15 mins went by and our food finally arrived. It looked good however it tasted awful I wouldn’t feed a dog this food. The (chee wizz) fries looked like they had just got frozen fries and melted a burger cheese slice and mixed it round in them - they also tasted awful. The “sinner” burger looked presentable however was dry, no flavour and made me feel physically sick. I also ordered some Mac and cheese well when I say they were stuck together like cement I mean it. I literally tipped the bowl and they were still stuck in the same position. They were cold and it was the same situation as the fries they have put a melted cheese slice in the macaroni and mixed it in, awful! When I complained about this I had rude glares and the chef herself kept giving me a dirty look out of the food hatch. The staff except from one boy were so rude especially two girls behind the counter stood together chatting and laughing whilst looking over at the customers. I think they need a serious reality check and need to learn some customer service skills. I paid £38.75 for this meal and it was the worse meal I have EVER had and I’m not one to ever say that. If I had the balls I would’ve walked out and not paid because that price for what I have just eaten is terrible. This ruined his first Father’s Day and our night and we both feel sick! Will definitely not recommend or return.

Not a huge amount to choose from but what there was all 4 of us enjoyed. Chicken burger, beef burger, pulled pork, fries, milkshakes, they were all lovely.

Burger a lovely would recommend a visit

Unfortunately the menu not what it used to be pre-covid. Seems like a completely changed menu and not as 'outlandish' which was the attraction. The place, decoration is still the same and great. Staff are fantastic as always.

Great place! Me and my mates go for a catch up. Food is delish one of my faves places to go by far! Service is great never had any issues.

Not the best to be honest, not much in the way of an atmosphere no music playing and a fairly strong smell of stale beer. Food was OK, I guess - same as going to a fast food joint really nothing special just burger and fries. Shame really as I do enjoy the normal hussle and bussle of an American Diner, good tunes and root beer and unfortunately Sinner's had none of this. I heard comments from others that this place used to be up there with its food and atmosphere - maybe it will find its way back and I will give it another go

I was hoping that this place would be similar to The Courtyard Cafe in Wigan, so I went in with high expectations, which is probably unfair from the get-go. The menu was pretty limited to loaded chips, burgers and hotdogs. You can tell the ingredients used are good quality (says on the menu some are sourced from Taylors Farm nearby), but the finished product itself was nothing to shout at. We came in early in the afternoon, just after opening, the place was empty but the main doors were wide open and the place was really drafty. Staff were nice and friendly.

Love the food in this place, we have been going for a few years and it's great to be able to go back inside now the covid restrictions have lifted. Burgers are large and fresh made in house with locally produced meat and they taste fantastic. Great range of drinks too, prices are very good especially for the quality and portions you get. If you like burgers this place is 100 times better than 5 guys.

We travel at least a half hour to eat here and do it any chance we get. We always try to take people because we love the food and atmosphere and want to share it with friends. Highly recommend. Worth the drive and money. Really reasonably priced.

Came here as had seen lots of local reviews saying they did great burgers. It is right next to the canal and it is an american burger bar complete with flags etc. In fact it actually reminded us of an american bar we went to...

Unfortunately my daughter in law and I both suffered from food poisoning 24 hours after eating the same meal here on Sunday. Hoping this was a one off bad day for the restaurant but reading some of the other reviews it seems under cooked burgers is a reoccurring theme.

Another ‘Wannabe’ Burger Joint, with ok burgers. The burgers are on a Par with the A&W 3*. The Loaded Fried on the other hand 5* which averages it to 4*

Tasty food,excellent and prompt service

Drove 30 minutes as it said it was open (6:00PM Tuesday) it was closed. The doors were locked and no one was answering the phone. Ended up driving the Miller and Carter instead. Change the opening hours to the correct hours instead of misleading people.

Went here as a family for a birthday meal. Food was ok- just. Service was really weird. It was like we weren’t welcome and they wanted us to leave. Barely finished and they were clearing away and then seemed irritated when we ordered more drinks...

Excellent food, lovely, friendly staff

Terrible, terrible, terrible. Not only is this place a covid hot spot (no social distancing), but the food was disgusting. Frozen chips with loads of rotten bits, dry chicken wings that are inedible, and bland. Avoid.

I always say this, but the sinners club really is the best burger outside of America. I can’t wait for lockdown to be lowered and sit down in the restaurant and have a delicious burger and beers to wash it down with.

Definitely give this place a go. With Covid-19 you are seated away from others (always a bonus for me!). There is some interesting memorabilia adorning the walls to look at while you wait. I had the hotdog with cheese and bits of bacon and oh my it was heavenly. However, very messy so get more napkins! I wanted something on the side so I chose the chicken wings. Whilst gorgeous it wasn't the best choice with the hotdog as both ended up incredibly messy so next time I'll choose chips maybe.

We arrived at Burscough Sinners Club. Received, Friendly, Warm service and a lovely play on quality American Fast food. Our young daughter in tow and nothing was too much trouble!!

This was our first visit after lockdown. The sinners club is the gold standard of UK burgers and I would argue that it is the best burger outside of America. There was a limited menu, however everything that we wanted to eat was on there so I couldn’t moan at all. The staff were as friendly as always and are on top of the new table service that is new to the sinners club. With great beer, great food and music this sinners will always be a favourite to us.

This place is okay. I always wanted to come here, because the food on the menu sounded so appetising. So, when I did finally get to visit it felt like a bit of a let down. The restaurant felt grubby, the drinks glasses were dirty, the staff were very unenthusiastic and the food was just okay for the prices. Car parking for the number of shops and restaurants in the area is very low. The decor was the saving grace for this place. Very interesting and well thought out.

The waitress was very rude, basically threw the food at us on the table and was too interested in her friend at the bar, could do with some friendlier staff won’t be visiting again.

Our neighbour celebrated her b/day here and showed a photo of the biggest burger . So y/day my husband & I decided to try this place. As we were on route our son rang with exciting news he and his wife had just got a dog. So they got invited to join us . There is a big range of what to choose and took us a while to choose. Let’s say there was not a crumb left, we ploughed on through the big delicious burgers. The decor is interesting and is a popular place. We left happy and full.
