We have been a couple of times and have always had freshly cooked soups and lunches. We love that dogs are welcome and the gift shop upstairs. We tried another central venue, but this is definitely the preferred location.

Wonderful place , had a party for my husbands birthday , food was wonderful staff excellent. Everyone really enjoyed the chilled atmosphere, would recommend for a party .

Stopped in for a good breakfast and wasn’t dissapointed. The full English was excellent and had pretty much everything - 2 sausage (good quality) 2 bacon 2 fried eggs, beans, mushrooms, tomato, hash brown, full slice of sourdough bread, black pudding. Add to this tea and you have the complete builders breakfast ! All well cooked and available quickly. We also enjoyed the breakfast burrito with 2 hash browns which filled up my teenage grandson Very well presented and cooked.

Gets too busy sometimes so attention to deal can be missed

Overall, I'd say it's OK here. We had to go and ask for a table to be cleared whilst at least two members of staff were just standing around and the response my friend got when she asked for this was a bit poor. Then we had to actually wipe the table ourselves because the employee didn't come back to finish it and two of the three toilet cubicles were out of paper, so that put a dampner on our experience. Overall, the food was nice and it is a lovely venue, nicely decorated and comfortable. Our server was nice. You can order and pay via QR code here.

What a hidden gem, in all the years this has been so local to me. The staff are wonderful, friendly people that go above & beyond. The food well where do I start, delicious. Generous portions. Cooked and served promptly. The taste was sensational 😋 I will definitely be visiting here again. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful evening. 5Stars 🌟

The only place where you can find the original biryani taste in the whole united kingdom. Dont miss it or else you’ll regret it.

Wow what a complete decline from last year.The lamb keema was absolutely vile,greasy no taste no peas just mincemeat in orange grease.The Lamb bhuna was overcooked hard pieces of inedible dry mutton.Staff rude and unhelpful.We went last year and the food was lovely we don't know or understand why it's gone down the pan! It's been going since 1969 so may just be in a tasteless time warp! There are better Indian restaurants in Urmston we won't be going back.It wasn't even busy the Cobra lager was flat and not worth £5.50p for a pint.The only nice thing was the starters Onion Bargies.

On a busy night where there was several large parties (including mine) the staff were helpful providing extra seating at short notice and attentive and ensured everyone had a great experience. Would definitely recommend a visit.

After coming here for years! Since I was a child myself, I've always brought my family children here. Decided one night for a takeaway delivery. Uber are the co however it's the deccan staff who sodt and deliver and uber can't track. 1.5 hours no food phoned said on way over 2hrs still no food, phoned said so sorry it's coming now. Food arrived, and beautiful food hot tasty few bits missing like naan bread, but that's okay . Order a few weeks later and the same scenario, no food. Phoned and again said on way.. phoned again to be told he'd been and no answer! Then he said he couldn't find us and then was extremely rude and said he was too busy for this and I'll not get the food I'd ordered over two 2hrs ago and paid for ..this was the owner! We've spent lots of money in this restaurant, ate amazing food, had amazing service and we were spoken to so badly on this occasion. They use Uber for you to order accept orders and then clearly forget to process them. They then give you the run around when you phone to get an update. Tell you it's on the way then tell you something else. Was absolutely disgusted with this. I'd seen several posts on FB with similar issues, and I'd always sang the Deccans praises. Unfortunately, not this time. Definitely taking on too much and become greedy. It's such a shame as we throughly loved coming here.
