Took two hours ten mins. Such a shame because there food is lovely

my order clearly suffered a delayed delivery which the driver stated was due to exceptional demand, I ordered at 17:47 with a predicted delivery of 50-60 mins my food arrived at 19:32 this is much longer than previous orders. Our Tandoori Chicken starter was delicious but missed the salad and sauces normally supplied. My wife's meal a Baltic Peshwari Murgh was very sweet and we will not re-order this dish, My meal a Chicken Tikka Pathia was delicious and I will certainly re-order this again

Once again we had another delicious curry. We ordered a chicken samber and the chicken was so tender, and samber sauce was perfect. Deccan, never let us down

Quality - I ordered popadoms, paid for x2 & received 2 popadoms - each order comes with 2 popadoms, I paid for x2 ie should have received 4. Delivery Time - Order was arranged for delivery at 8pm, received at 9pm

Disappointed. All the food was cold, items missing (not for the first time) and it took an hour and half to be delivered. Rang about missing items, still not arrived 40 minutes later.

Ordered 3 or 4 times now and always spot on 👌 would highly recommend

Lovely place great food and atmosphere but we was waiting for ages for our food to come out and kept forgetting my drink. Also have to go and find a cash machine after your meal because the card machine isn’t working.but apart from that it’s great

When placing the order the delivery time was 30-40 minutes and once the order was placed it jumped to 75-95 minutes and actually arrived 2hrs after the order was placed!

Avoid! worse Indian I’ve ever tried, the poppadoms were stale not freshly made , lamb was chewy overdone, all just about warm threw the lot in the bin.

first time trying from here and will definitely be returning! The meat was so soft and just melted in your mouth, the flavours were second to none. The pashwari naan bread was one of the best I've tried. I know where I will be coming to , next time I want a good Indian takeout.

It was ok. Madras was very mild and lots of garlic in Karahi which over powered it. Chicken pakoras were dry on inside. Keema rice wasn't fully cooked. Glad we got 40% discount as I wouldn't be paying full price for what we ate.

the tandoori chicken starters were delicious, the chicken moist and tender, lovely flavour, the chicken tikka Peshawari murgh was mild but flavoursome with nuts and herbs, the chicken tikka syleti was full of amazing flavours and spicy but not overly hot, all food thoroughly enjoyed

Our food arrived on time and was hot but the x2 Tikka malsala's that arrived had no flavour and were very watery, we also ordered a portion of chips which didn't arrive.

delicious food we ordered tandoori chicken starter, a Balti Peshwari Murgh (mild) and a Balti Chicken Sylheti (hot), boiled rice and a garlic naan, the chicken was moist and tender the sauces were so flavoursome, the food was less thermally hot than we would prefer but that is the drawback of home delivery, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and look forward to our next delivery, thank you

The order was originally 10 mins late and when it turned up they forgot an item so altogether it was about 30 mins before we could enjoy our mains. The food was ok.

Knew the original owners around 1970- Hussain and Ahmed. Celebrated my sister's wedding there in 1975. Was open for lunch and dinner then. Still nice after 54 years. Had takeaways and meals in restaurant. Halal.

Absolutely delicious - great service, great food

My current favourite traditional curry restaurant in Urmston and I've tried them all. I have to say their Tandoori starters and mains are some of the best I've had. I love the mixed starter. My son also loves it and will always ask to go to the Deccan. A nice atmosphere and good food. Cannot ask for more.

Food arrived 25 mins later than the suggested delivery time and delivery's by the takeaways own staff so I assume the just eat driver didn't turn up, hence the food being cold which was not enjoyable and so a water of a gift of a voucher.

We had a football club Christmas meal. There were 25 of us. Pre ordered our meal.Good atmoshere, staff were overwhelmed and got most orders jumbled. I had my meal last as they were confused with fish tikka? Food was good. Starters were huge, to much food.The venue was very clean and lovely surroundings. I would reccomend, even with the couple of hiccups. My husband attended the week after and really enjoyed the food,drink and service.Plus Urmston is all lit up with Christmas lights too.

I am very impressed by the quality of the food, and I used to order from an Indian restaurant on Bury New Rd and this dish was my favourite. They closed down and I have not tasted anything close to it since. But this was as good if not better!Great!

Disappointed with the chicken tikka masala. Way too sweet. I prefer a rich masala. Won't order again. The mixed tandoori needed salt as it was lacking flavour.

Do not order takeaway from here. I can’t comment on the food because it never arrived! I placed an order on uber eats at 5pm but the restaurant do the deliveries themselves. 2 and a half hours later and still no food but the restaurant repeatedly told me it was on its way when I called them 3 times from 6.30pm. Useless

I asked for off the bone tandoori masalla but it was Tikka.

Went in on a Saturday night (4th Sept) 8pm, no staff hardly, got a table quickly it was half empty. After 20 mins we’d still not been asked for a drinks order, eventually after asking 3 times if we could order they said they were very busy and the food if ordered would be another 45 mins. We got up and left and went to the Adrak.

I was promised a refund that didn't happen after I had missing items and it was over an hour late

AVOID! My partner's stomach has been doing flips for 3 days after a 'lamb' Rogan Josh and hasn't been able to eat properly since. Takeaway was nowhere near the standard of the former restaurant food - under seasoned saag dishes, greasy puri dripping with oil - overall incredibly disappointing as I used to love visiting the restaurant and was excited to show my partner their food. Sadly, we will never be ordering again.

Missing chicken, but the restaurant sent it after I called. Food was tasty and hot but nearly 2 hours from ordering to delivery isn't great. I usually go in and order to collect rather than delivery if I order in future that's what I'll do

I never leave reviews but unfortunately the food I just received was so bad I’ve been left with no choice. Onion bhaji’s were burnt to a crisp. If I could post a picture I would. Don’t think onion bhaji’s are supposed to be black. The chicken in the chicken pakora’s was over cooked and dry. Chicken in the madras was over cooked and dry. Tried hiding it in the curry sauce but not even that could hide it. Won’t order from here again based on this experience. Waste of money :-(

Great food and friendly service

Had issue with delivery being collected by another customer at hotel but driver was amazing , quick and efficient at getting the issue sorted & got our new food to us as soon as possible without any hassle. Lovely guy & the food was worth the wait for the new delivery nicest Indian we’ve had in a long time. Would defo recommend

First time ordering from Decan. Will be the last. 19 minutes to deliver to an address 3 minutes away. As a result, cold food. Sauce had leaked from the top dish down. Chewy cold naan bread. Prawns didn’t taste right so they went in the bin. Also, why include a bag of salad and chutneys if you’re not providing poppadoms? Absolutely dreadful!

Visited here for the second time in a good number of years on Saturday with my family (as unfortunately I am not local anymore) and we were left feeling extremely glad of our choice to come here. The service we received was outstanding. The ambience and atmosphere is 100/10. Our food was so tasty and cooked extremely well. I got the Lamb Rogan Josh, of which the flavours were so well balanced. The naan was very fresh and moreish. The extra details made such a difference - such as the after dinner chocolate and hot hand wipe. The lovely staff at Deccan obviously know what good service is and really exceeded. I specifically loved that every interaction was genuine and intentional. It was also nicely full, which in itself shows that they produce happy customers. Will definitely be back again.. just not so long next time! :)
