The pizzas are excellent; they are really large (bigger than the plates they’re served on), but thin based and cooked perfectly. The dips, especially the chilli-honey, are really nice too. Really friendly servers as well. I’ve been twice now and look forward to going back again.

I had a very good experience. Libby from Sale branch was very helpful, she greeted us with a warm smile, she served us and she was incredibly nice. She tried to think of many ways to elevate our experience. One of our family members had to go for 30 min and they said they could re-make the food so we could eat together as a family for no extra cost. I loved my experience and had a really good time with my whole family.

Hi there, I've just had a 10 out of 10 family meal at this restaurant. I visited with my mum, dad, and sister to Rudy's Sale. The lady who served us, Georgia, customer service was of the highest standard. All of the team and restaurant, from walking through the door to eating and leaving the restaurant, were all impeccable. Visited this restaurant this evening with my family after a poor experience at another branch. My experience tonight totally changed my opinion and turned things around for me. The food and service were both exceptional,the lovely lady who looked after us named Georgia is a credit to the business and really made us all feel warm, comfortable and welcome. Could not fault anything and I really am so grateful for Georgia and all her team being so lovely to us. Also I am very grateful to Beth, the manager from another branch of Rudys who absolutely went above and beyond to help with my previous issue. She was amazing and very patient and understanding. Thank you all very much. Would definitely recommend Rudys overall as a business with how they handle any issue and standard of food also.

Pizza was okay quite soft and doughy tho. Average Very expensive typical pizzas costs £4 to make each as I’ve made them before myself so £15 a pizza is taking the mick

We came here for dinner and booked a table for 9.15pm when we arrived at 9.05 a walk in couple were stood in front of us. The staff sat the couple down on a table and then we had to wait until around 9.30 for our table to be ready this was the only issue. We both had a pizza I had the salami and my partner had the portobello pizza. We had the alioli dip and the chilli honey dip which is amazing highly recommend. The only other issue is they use the restaurant as a storage area for drinks and empty pizza boxes which makes the place seem a bit scruffy.

Amazing food, service and atmosphere. Accomadated well for our anniversary and one of the best pizzas we've ever had. Tirrimasu was to die for. Would highly recommend.

Have been here quite a few times now. Food is always consistently good and the staff are lovely here, will definitely keep coming back here and bringing friends as it reliably delivers!

Called in on a Saturday evening evening without booking and got seated right away, the only seats available were round the kitchen which didn’t bother me but loved it watched all the pizza made by hand which was amazing. Ordered mix olives and 2 pizzas with a couple of drinks and all I can say is wow, the best pizza I’ve ever had by far, fresh and tasty and not sickly just amazing will defo be back again a big thank you 👌👌👌

The pizzas were... OK? I suppose? We were a party of 4 and each of us ordered a different one but they all tasted very alike. Also, the Carni is supposed to come with basil but there were two tiny bits of basil on it. That was disappointing. Also, they didn't have any of the kinder bueno cheesecake which I was looking forward to, but in fairness the brownies were nice anyway. On the plus side, the waiting staff were extremely nice and genuine.

We always love a trip to Rudys & tonight was no different, however had to come in and leave a review to say how fantastic the staff are. A huge thank you to the wonderful Georgia who was friendly & bubbly from the moment we sat down and Molly too who we also had a wonderful chat with. The staff really make the Sale branch stand out! The pizzas are also absolutely fantastic!

Not impressed. Pizza seems like a frozen effort from Dr. Oertker from a supermarket. Service awful and almost inedible pizza. Seriously over rated.

We eat at Rudys, chorlton regularly and it is fantastic! Rudys, Sale was very different - no Gorgonzola - ‘we’ve not had any for ages and lots of people are disappointed’ said the waitress!!! G&T served in a tiny glass not big enough to fit the tonic in?! The waitress and chef were in the kitchen the whole time hidden away so we felt there was no atmosphere as we were the only 2 people in the restaurant. Not a good experience at all despite good food and great music :(

Visited with family to celebrate my mum's bday. Staff made her feel special. Loved our amazing pizzas. Attentive and helpful staff. Will definitely visit again bcos we are big Rudy's fan. X

Amazing pizza, great casual atmosphere and the warmest service you could ask for every single time.

Excellent thin, cheesy, melt in the mouth pizzas. I would say the best in Manchester, from what I have tried, easy. It's a short car drive and we are back in Italy for that few minutes! The thin sourdough (you can taste complexity of the long fermentation) stretchy when eaten hot off the oven is so good, we sit in the car outside and eat straight away (we can't sit inside due to health reasons and they helpfully give a quick takeaway) The fungi pizza is my most favourite as the umami is so heavenly combined with their delicious cheese. The rest are good too.

Pizza was well made and tasted nice. I got the Margherita pizza and it was brought out in good time. The garlic bread was the same size as the pizzas and it was very good; had alot of flavour and was tasted great. Service was average. Nothing bad by any means. Nothing to set it apart from other places though. The atmosphere was quite calm and it certainly made the experience better as it allowed for the enjoyment of the food. I would go again; during the week in quiet times I think is best.

Food was lovely and service was great. Starters took about 40 mins to come out but it was a busy Saturday. We had an incident because a low candle had been lit and placed too close to a tin containing napkins on our table and a napkin caught on fire. I used my sparking water to put it out and therefore needed another water. They did try to charge us for the extra bottle of water, which I thought was a bit cheeky as I’d used it to extinguish a spontaneous fire in their restaurant but they did remove it from the bill when I asked them to so no harm done.

Great except on of the diners next to us allowed their Spaniel to sit on their lap & lick the olive oil bottle & knives & forks in the cutlery tin.

Authentic Neapolitan pizza. Rudy’s Pizzeria never disappoints. Don't miss out on the dessert! You got to try the affogato Al caffè and the tiramisu. Although it is an Italian business, it was Lovely to see many people working there from different ethnicities. Nice chilled vibes and a clean bathroom. Service was quick enough, and prices were reasonable.

December, they were busy but were able to seat us outside-great atmosphere!

Lovely pizza as always and delivery via Deliveroo was right on time amd still hot. We usually pop in for a birthday meal when one of us is celebrating but we fancied a delivery treat this weekend. Only one suggestion and that would be to offer a children's menu or at least a selection of smaller sized pizzas for under 10's as my child doesn't always finish a full sized one. Other than that I couldn't fault anything. Thanks again Rudy's. X

Great food, very friendly atmosphere. Would certainly recommend. The children loved watching the pizzas being made.

Visited recently (about three weeks ago give or take) and the food was INSANELY GOOD. I had the porchetta pizza that had sage roast potatoes on! The pizzas were massive and had plenty of toppings, lots of different choices, and also lots of starters and sharing platters if you’re extra hungry or don’t fancy pizza. We didn’t get any desserts so can’t comment on that. Staff were great and attentive. We will definitely be back!

This is the second time I've been here. Both times the pizza I've eaten has been fantastic. My daughters have really enjoyed their pizzas too. The service has been excellent. The pizzas are so much better than your standard chain pizza parlours, brilliant!

Staff were very professional and friendly. The food came out super quick. It was quite an efficient dining experience. Good brunch out with the children.

We enjoyed a great meal here before a theatre visit just local to the restaurant. The food was piping hot and as fresh as you could wish for, extremely tasty and the service was top notch. Never been disappointed yet with a Rudy's!

The best traditional pizza in Manchester. Although a chain restaurant Rudy's sale hits different. Maybe its the atmosphere? The friendly staff? Or being able to watch the pizza you just ordered being made in front of you? Rudys in sale is possibly one of my favourite restaurants in Manchester With a great range of pizzas and some truly interesting specials or great desert. There is certainly some flavour for every pallet. Cheap. Great pizza. With friendly helpful staff. And a cool vibe.

Had a business meeting in Sale and we decided to head into town for a bite to eat (only 2 of us). It was 6pm on a quiet Tuesday evening and we came across this pizzeria so decided to try it out. On entering the restaurant, the smell of the food was so nice and appetizing so it was extremely disappointing to be told that the restaurant was fully booked and we would have to wait around 1.5 hours before we have a table when we could clearly see there was at least 7-8 empty tables empty (the restaurant was clearly not busy). The waiter did offer us a seat at the bar area facing the kitchen but for us this area was too small. This is where I have the problem...I asked if we could sit outside on one of those tables but the waiter said no because they were not doing outside service as they would be too busy!! Ultimately, it wasn't a huge problem for us as we left and found a restaurant that was helpful and accommodating and quite happy to take our money and look after us well. Like I said earlier in this review, the pizzas looked really good and the smell was excellent it was just sad that we were let down by poor customer service and we didn't get the chance to actually taste what looked like great food. Sadly due to the poor customer service we will not return! I've scored this place a 1* based on the service (or lack of) and atmosphere and I've not given any rating to the food as we did not get to try any. Judging by the smell and appearance, the food did look good!

Absolutely the best pizza I've eaten. Good size pizzas, generous amount of toppings and a wider variety selection of pizzas than most. Ok selection of Beers and wines.

Best place for a quick drink and bite in Sale

Disappointed. Its usually much better than this. We had to wait for 45mins for our pizzas. No apology. They were busy for a Wednesday night and obviously dealing with lots of takeaways but we had to chase for our pizzas. There were 4 of us and we were out for my husbands birthday so it was even more annoying that the service was so poor. I also made the mistake of ordering a special, turns out it was a white pizza, (no tomato topping) which wasn't clear on the menu. Overall not a great experience yet they still include a tip on the bill which we were expected to pay regardless.

The restaurant is Cozy. We ordered garlic bread and it was very delicious. The mushroom pizza was delicious and we ordered the Margherita pizza which was medium

The restaurant is amazing and the best pizza ever there isn’t one time I have been and felt disappointed. Our waitresses vics and Sarah were so attentive and welcoming, they worked so hard to keep everyone on our table and the restaurant happy, super impressed. Highly recommend to everyone

I had my own restaurant in altrincham and cant stand bad service, poor food and being over charged ! This was a lovely restaurant with fabulous service , extremely good food and a very varied menu ! Excellent ! Thank you

We appreciate Italian pizza having lived in Italy for 8 years. The dough is the key part of the pizza, Rudy’s get a five out of five. The topping did not come close - I had to open a can of tuna to add to my take away pizza!. Rudy’s is popular and exceptionally busy with the restaurant and take away service this says a lot about the pizza, but don’t skimp on the toppings please. Take a minute to ensure there is sufficient topping to enjoy the pizza.

Incredible good, amazing drinks and brilliant customer service. The pizzas are such a good size and the value for money is very very reasonable. Would highly recommend coming.

Been there twice now - both times the staff and service were stand out. I also like the vibe in there, it’s a good casual atmosphere. Now onto the pizzas - superb! 10/10 - the dough is really nice and the toppings are great too. If you’ve been you know, if you’ve not - then what are you waiting for!

Went with my family on Wednesday evening and the restaurant was packed, despite this the waitress arrived within 5 minutes to ask what we would like to drink. The food arrived promptly. The food was delicious, excellent customer service and overall was good value for money. Couldn't fault and strongly recommend!

Good thin pizza, beers are a little expensive considering they are cans served to your table.

Pizzeria with excellent decor and friendly staff serving passable pizzas. Our pizzas could have benefit from slightly longer cooking because they were just too floppy and the dough was possibly undercooked. Also the toppings could be more generous. There could have been more tomato sauce and basil on my Margarita. They sell dips for the crusts but I would rather spend a pound more and have the toppings spread further to the edges. Also the red wine choices are, frankly, awful in my view. Far too acidic and lacking flavour. I think what might have happened is they have listened to one of those daft wine critics who sniffs and swirls wine around as opposed simply drinking it. This review won't make a jot of difference because the place is so popular. The atmosphere and staff do make it worth going back to but please please please serve nicer reds.

Staff attentive, pizza was outstanding, couple of nice beers available. Menu very varied, plenty to choose from. Order taken quickly and we didn't have to wait long for the drinks or the food. Definitely recommend
