Took our grandson to PizzAmmore last week. It was everyone’s first visit and we were all pleased with it. The pizzas are fabulous, perhaps the only criticism is that we should have liked knives with serrated edges to cut easily. Otherwise we were very satisfied and the staff were great. Definitely not a one off visit.

I dislike leaving bad reviews but I must in an attempt to warn others. I've tried here a few times now, each time hoping the poor experience was just an issue on that day. I've persevered as I like to give local eateries a fair chance. The pizzas are either cold, undercooked or very sloppy in the middle. The outer edge is burnt, but the middle is just so bad. You shouldn't hold a piece of pizza up and it slops down, and all the topping slides off. Inexcusable. The sauce is so watery in the middle it turns an horrible pink colour. It's inedible. I eat regularly at Mano a Bocca and have no issues here. There's just no comparison. I won't be returning. Sadly.

There's alot of pizzeria in Sale this one is my favourite, reasonable price, good size and tasty. The crust is spot on, neopolitan style. You can't go wrong here unless you like thick base pizza then this isn't for you

First time for us in this pizzeria, fantastic pizza and excellent service, my daughter fell in love with the girl with red hair.

I love this place, since my Italian friends recommended it. It has a great service, the stuff is always nice. The best to go for pizza if you are in Sale. Try pizza frita and the day specials.

Went on to order a pizza for collection, originally ordered a calzome but changed after realising it didn't have a tomato base.When I changed my order (30" later), the new pizza was cheaper but was happy to pay the difference for the inconvenience. Ordered a ham and cheese pizza and added gorgonzola. When I collected the pizza I couldn't see any gorgonzola, I went back into query and was told it was there just hidden, was willing to give them the benefit of the doube. When I got home I bit into it and there wasn't any. When I rang up I got told it was a just there obviously wasn't enough for me. They ordered to make another one but it would have required walking back and waiting. Really disappointed by the response to my query, felt like I was spoken to like I was stupid and noone wanted to admit a mistake

Had a delivery via Uber Eats and it arrived as though it had fallen upside down. Totally not edible. Literally nothing on pizza but plenty on the box and cold. Rang Pizza Amore who told me it's not their responsibility , but yet happy to take the money . Disappointed!!!!!!!!

Ordered two starters and mains, sadly 1 of the main, in this case a veggie pizza wasn't upto normal standards, the pizza base was left very watery from the topping, I'm not a pizza chef but I'm thinking maybe temperature of oven not hot enough. Staff very friendly and prices are good

Loved their pizza. Tried the arancini too and the mozzarella and tomatoes salad! The tiramisu is just perfect and very nice coffee. The service was so quick too and our waitress was always smiley!

I visited with my young niece and daughter for a girly tea time treat. Great value kids meal and my niece said it was the “best pizza ever”. Lovely friendly staff and varied menu with good portion sizes. We were sat close to the back, I would go for a central table or near the window next time to avoid being distracted by take out collections. Just personal preference from a first visit but will definitely be back. 😊

Ammore Pizza in Manchester is one of the best pizza places around. I go there often because the staff is friendly, the customer service is excellent, and the pizza tastes authentically Italian. If you’re hankering for the real deal, this place is a must-try.

Nice pizza and pasta, kids love it

Rang at 8pm to order 2 pizzas and chips, was told 30 minute wait ( not a problem as I had to walk there) I waited for 15mins then walked for 15 min to collect. Upon arrival I was told they could make no pizzas at all as oven was acting up, I was given no apologies or reasoning to why she couldn’t call me back and let me know that they couldn’t fulfill this order. Second time I’ve been let down by this place so I will not be trying again- shame as it is so cheap for pizzas

Popped in for an early tea with a friend. Served delicious pizzas. Plenty of topping and base crisp. Staff welcoming.

Simple yet effective menu with beautiful Arancini and authentic Neapolitan Pizza. Lovely flavour and a perfect tomato sauce both on the pizza and with the Arancini. Excellent cold draft Moretti beer with a comprehensive choice of Italian and Sardinian bottled beer. Great coffee and canoli with an extremely moreish pistachio filling. We prefer the pizza to Rudy’s and there a some great alternatives to pizza on the menu should you fancy an Italian alternative. Good friendly service. We would highly recommend.

Worst pizza I’ve ever had the misfortune of tasting!! Absolutely rotten, freezing cold and how they got the paper thin base to go soggy whilst also being burnt underneath is completely beyond me! Genuinely don’t see how people are giving this place good reviews, they must’ve never tried an actual nice pizza to be able to compare it to. £60 quid down the drain, would have been better with a supermarket pizza!

Lasagne was mainly pasta with very small amounts of meat and cheese sauce. The top was burnt. Noticed that the pizzas coming out were all burnt too. Seating is wooden chairs with no pads.

The pizza was not cooked properly!!! Burnt underneath and sloppy in the middle, the garlic on the bread was too oily very disappointing, the waitress was absolutely lovely, drinks were also fine , I wouldn’t go there again I’m afraid.

If you are looking for a real Neapolitan pizza, look no further. Genuine ingredients, perfectly cooked, top quality. By far, the best pizza I had here in England. I’m originally from Naples and I can tell you in this place, you have the same tasty product. 100% guaranteed!

I was the leader of a party of eleven that dropped in on a busy Saturday night (17/09/23) unannounced. They rearrange their upstairs room for us PDQ to fit us in. The food was fantastic. All of my friends loved it too. The lady who served us was absolutely brilliant. Thank you PizzAmmore. We will be back. (We'll give you a bit more notice next time, Promise)

Fab pizza and prosecco here. Fresh and tasty pizzas, love all the options on the menu. Maybe some more vegan options but the funghi pizza was😋 great atmosphere and super value for money!

A fantastic sourdough is the secret ingredient in this little gem - we’ve had Bolognese calzone, Funghi pizza & even tried a gluten free Napoli pizza. Whatever the topping, you cannot go wrong as they are all yummy.

A wonderful place for pasta or pizza! We've been a few times now and the staff are always lovely and the pizza's are just the best! We got the kids deal only £8.50 for pizza, chips and a drink (you can choose other food options) and i had pizza too. They have a nice selection of desserts too. Worth a visit! :)

Food - Amazing, we went for a family of four dinner, the food was loved by everyone, especially the children. Space is limited in the restaurant, very tight, Staff seem busy and a little short staffed Excellent place with a good atmosphere.

Best pizza in Greater Manchester! Friendly atmosphere and superb quality ingredients! Moreover, you can try some unique Neapolitan street food like Pizza Fritta (fried pizza) and Cuoppo (fried seafood and vegetables) which are truly amazing.

Amazing! It looks like an ordinary little cafe, but it's actually one of the best Italian places I've been to. The menu is varied with lots of good options of pizza and pasta and Italian side dishes, there's also a kids menu. We tried the pizza and the Linguine Di mare, and both were delicious. My new favourite spot in Sale.

Food was delicious and waiting staff were friendly but the waiting time was over 2 hours due to there being only one chef.

Maybe an unlucky evening. It took more than 40 minutes to have the starters, frittatina di pasta and arancini were burnt in oil and quite dry when eaten. The pizzas were good however the take home baba tasted super dry and felt it was there since last week. Unfortunately very disappointed, I think will try other Italian pizzerias from now on!

On a Sunday evening, we had a dinner at PizzAmmore. We ordered Pizza & Pollo. The pizza is absolutely yummy and the best I had in Sale. We also had Crocche and it is crunchy in the outer layer and soft in the middle. It is absolute delight. We will be definitely going back.

Pizza was very good in a very clean little restaurant. The toppings were very generous on the pizza and the young boy serving by himself was very helpful. The lasagne let the side down by being rather tasteless and sprinkled with breadcrumbs or similar which offered nothing. Overall worth a visit

i came last night with my wife & 2 teenage boys. nice ambience with friendly attentive, polite & quick service. we all loved our meals, great quality and value for money which is hard to find these days.

Amazing Italian street food restaurant. We have visited quite a few times now and every meal has been exceptional. Freshly cooked/prepared food. Excellent value for money. Our server today (young guy working alone) was so courteous and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for him (only asked for tap water/extra plate) and it was provided with a smile. He is a huge credit to the business and we will definitely be returning. Our meal today was a margarita pizza, chips, carbonara, bruschetta and a tomato/mozzarella salad. Coupled with a reasonable priced bottle of Pinot Grigio and a take away tirimisu as we were too full for dessert afterwards. Everything was delicious.

Terrible. Dirty glasses. Very slow service. If you prepared to wait an hour for the drinks and another 2 hours for the dessert then it's your place. Otherwise avoid! Never again.

Eaten here a few times recently. Food was good again. However, the complete lack of service ruined the meal. The table was not cleaned in between courses. Nobody came to ask if the food was satisfactory. Nobody came to ask if we wanted more drinks. Nobody asked if we wanted deserts. My kids wanted deserts, begrudgingly I walked up to the counter to order, but after waiting 30 minutes, we gave up and asked for the bill. Funnily enough, this arrived within the minute and surprisingly contained the deserts that we did not receive. No real apology apart from chastising a waiter in front of me. It's a very competitive market in Sale and we shall look elsewhere next time we eat out.

Ordered a kids meal which was a big portion, what most places would consider an adults, and the food was amazing. The pizza was the best I've had, the chips and dough balls were delicious sides to have. Waiter was very friendly and the chef seemed nice.

Lovely surroundings, was seated and served straight away. Pizza came fast and was delicious, couldn't finish it as it was so big however asked for a takeout box and they were happy to do so, on way out ordered some deserts, if you like pistachio then I highly recommend. Already planning my next trip there soon.

Best pizza in the city 🍕 The calzone is amazing. Basically it's a real authentic Italian pizza place. No gimmicks no hipsters just top class grub.

A really nice little find of an Italian. The place is small but charming and the staff really helpful. Both of us ordered pasta and the portions are quite generous and also tasty too. Dessert as well was a treat. Very happy and would love to visit again.

Good pizza very tasty, only issue is the toppings are to wet made the bottom soggy. Needed to crisp it up in a pan when I got it home.

Forget about Rudy’s, if you’re in the market for truely authentic Napoli Pizza, Pizza Ammore is the one! Without doubt the best in Manchester (and most likely the UK). The only place I’ve seen Pizza Fritta outside of Napoli! Would highly recommend trying this fried delicacy, BELLISSIMO! 🤌🤌🤌

My first meal at this restaurant..the pizza was some of the best I’ve ever had outside of Italy. We had a lunch time meal deal which was outstanding value & staff & service were excellent. The restaurant itself is a bit basic, & I found it chilly. But the food & service made up for it. We will definitely go back.

Best pizza this side of Naples hands down. The dough is magic. The ingredients are top quality. Service fantastic. Very reasonably priced menu. Lovely little place with an intimate atmosphere. Well worth a visit. You can also buy bread made from the magic dough but you need to hurry they go pretty fast. PizzAmmore is a great addition to Sale’s up and coming foodie culture.
