Starving Man in Trafford

We ordered some pizza’s from Starving Man for an event we had in Altrincham. The team were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. They even delivered the 16 pizza’s to us and everyone commented on how nice they were. Would highly recommend.

I'm from the Midlands but whenever I come to visit my mate in Altrincham, we always have a Starving Man. I love the mixed kebab with salad and chilli sauce. The sign of a high quality kebab is when you still enjoy it when sober and your mouth doesn't feel rotten the next day - both achieved by The Starving Man. Great atmosphere and service in the shop.

Ordered food at 8:15pm over the phone told would be 45 mins for Delivery, it now has been 1hour 30 minutes before food was delivered. Not great service when you don’t get an update.. Chips cold… margarita pizza under cooked also

ordered my food 10 mins before the shop closed as just finished work so really hungry after waiting 1 and a half hours I tried to ring and email with zero response I went to bed A STARVING MAN!!! really upset as I use this takeaway all the time and usually good service and good food

Fantastic takeaway, especially after a night out. Garlic bread with cheese is the go to for me, and it’s actually decent quality and much better than canada grill / papa chinos ect. Bit expensive but can’t really complain it’s the same as its competitors.

Food was ready to collect at my requested time and was very tasty. Great to be able to use the points I'd collected via the app.

Me and my family we eat from this takeaway at least once a week for the last 20 years. The staff are amazing, the food all freshly cooked and the veg is fresh. They do a lot of home made food such as veg kebab, veg burger, houmous, chilli source and Yogert source. Their pizza dough is amazingly tasty and fresh. It's simply one of the best fast food takeaway in Altrincham. Hint hint: ask for fresh naan

Not used this place for many years and it was always fabulous back then. However we ordered pizza as a home delivery .arrived on time but was greasy and stodgy. Wouldn't use again and was nothing like i remembered. The only thing its got going for it is that it delivers later than other take aways

We haven’t ordered from Starving Man for a while due to delays in delivery times but glad to say we’ll be ordering more often. Best Kebabs and delivered in 45 minutes as stated

Amazing kebabs 10/10 Edit: kebabs usually nice but tonight whoever is making the food just stop the kebab nan isn't meant to be rock hard it's meant to be soft like a wrap learn to cook, also the burger was a 2/10 with a big hard bit in that nearly broke my tooth whoever it was that said the burgers are better than five guys and McDonald's clearly has no idea what there on about and I wouldn't take recommendations from that person if you know them because they clearly eat dog food out of a tin for breakfast every morning while huffing on there crack pipe. Edit 2: thanks guys you redeemed yourselfs here kebab naan was perfect tonight nice and soft like this there 10/10 hope you can keep it this way in the future because there so good changed back to 5 stars also thanks for the free mince pie was surprised at how nice it was compared to one from the shop. thanks a lot have a good Christmas and new year cheers.

Delivery guy is nice, but without doubt there will always be something missing from your order. Every time, even if they say they'll make up for it, never happens.

Had a mixed kebab, chicken, lamb steaks, kofta and donner in a naan with salad and sauces. Absolutely delicious 😋 100% recommended We also got a garlic bread with cheese, beard was really nice and everything was cooked bang on.

Wow! Incredible! Just polished off one of the best kebabs I've had in a long time. Plenty of meat to send you into a meat coma but every bite as delicious as the last. If you're ever in Altrincham give this place a try it certainly won't disappoint!

After a recommendation from a friend, i had a chicken and lamb kebab , by far the best kebab I have ever had. Its a long drive for me but well worth it and will do it again.

Stopping over in Altrincham tried this place on good reviews,donner and chips was ok,lamb kebab not so good,pitta bread rock hard broke into pieces when picked up,hardly any meat,mainly salad,phoned to complain,said it was because we were late in picking it up?though he did say he would replce it will try elsewhere if we come back to Altrincham.

Rubbish, took an hour and a half to deliver cold pizza

Ordered a takeaway. The food was bland and tasteless. I suffered all night (without going into detail) as a consequence of this very poor choice of food. Have deleted their App for the third time and will not be using them ever again.

Long wait when ordering in person (15 minutes) would rather give food to those that ordered online, food was average price but not to good. A little bit disappointed

My food was not delivered , no attempt made. They said it was due to using an external delivery company and there was nothing they could do. I asked if they could help me as they must have a relationship with the company to perhaps chase the driver i was told they didnt want to. Foods ok usually but this is very poor and i wouldnt want this to happen to some one else whos hungry for a quick bite. Avoid.

Went for a kebab, stood around for approx 15 mins, tasty but not worth £7.50 in my opinion, staff were polite and well mannered, may try it again in the future

The menu is varied, and the food good quality. They use fresh ingredients and do what they do well. Had pizza this time, but have had falafel and halloumi salad previously - all very good

£8.50 for a Chicken Shawarma that completely lacked flavour and texture, it was mush wrapped in Flat Bread and not a Naan as described.. Chicken Wings were cooked from frozen and probably the best thing of the meal. For £15.50 delivered, I’d expect some sort of half decent food. My advice would to be to spend a couple ££ more and get something half edible.
