Stopped in for a good breakfast and wasn’t dissapointed. The full English was excellent and had pretty much everything - 2 sausage (good quality) 2 bacon 2 fried eggs, beans, mushrooms, tomato, hash brown, full slice of sourdough bread, black pudding. Add to this tea and you have the complete builders breakfast ! All well cooked and available quickly. We also enjoyed the breakfast burrito with 2 hash browns which filled up my teenage grandson Very well presented and cooked.

Can highly recommend the breakfast from Buxton Road Cafe. Had two delivered and the food was piping hot and so good there was nothing left at the end. Excellent value

Absolutely first class full English breakfast, the best for miles around. Also great coffee and cakes. Highly recommended. Friendly and helpful staff and a lovely atmosphere. Great portion size!

Stopped off here for breakfast after reading positive reviews. Place was quite busy, no room inside but was a pleasant morning so got a table outside, first at the front, but slight smell from bins nearby made us move to round the back of the cafe which was quieter away from the main road. Picked up a menu, prices quite reasonable. Friendly chap took order from the table. A little wait for drinks and food but like I say cafe was quite busy. Food was excellent especially the Full English, well recommended. Worth a visit for sure for breakfast/brunch.

Lovely Staff. Asked the server what could be made gluten free. I went for the full english but I swapped the sausages and black pudding for some halloumi. Good portion sizes, ended up taking some home in a doggy bag, absolutely stuffed. Will definitely be back.

Very disappointed hadn't been for a while due to illness,no choice of milk just whole or almond no skimmed or semi skimmed,no choice of bread no brown just white,ordered a BLT asked for crispy bacon it was very fatty,felt like I had just a lettuce and tomato barmcake,not happy

Called in for breakfast full English was really tasty does say in the menu sourdough toast it wasn’t sourdough but none the less it was nice. Lacked atmosphere not sure if it’s changed hands nothing about the art work on the walls suggest it’s a cafe very random paintings. Good good but needs a rethink in terms of atmosphere

Great food and friendly staff. This is a lovely cafe with a great menu. The food was tasty and well presented and great value. Kids meals available and parking next to cafe in the park.

Called in on a Sunday Morning for a breakfast. We ordered 2 coffees on arrival and waited for someone to take our order. After 25 mins, the coffee hadn't arrived and no order taken. A family of 3 also looked like they were waiting and decided to leave the cafe. They had 2 staff on and the place was not particularly busy but they were very disorganised with NO customer service skills. We eventually just walked out - fed up of waiting!!! Coffee should have been served immediately and I would expect a 15 wait (max) for a bacon sandwich. Probably next time we'll find somewhere else who will be happy to take our order....

One of the best cafes in the area!! The coffees are amazing and food is delicious (I’d recommend the cakes/brownies as well - they have an incredible selection). The staff are so friendly too. It’s a real gem of a place.

Ideally placed for drinks/snacks after a play on Torkington Park. Took grandkids after playing on the park, for hot chocolates- lovely service, nice touch to be offered slightly cooler versions so the kids could drink straight away. Also, lovely chat over sweet bags to engage the children in what their favourite inclusions might be for future sweet bags which generated much discussion- a list will be posted through the door for consideration shortly😂

Brilliant homely place with good friendly service and good food. I go on a regular basis and it's very convenient for Torkington Park.
