Had a pie, chips, beans and gravy experience with some work colleagues on Tuesday evening. Big-up to Courtney who was doing an amazing job front of house 👏

We travelled to Manchester from sheffield and halifax respectively to catch up with family for Sunday lunch 6 adults and 1 child in total. Service was very slow it took nearly an hour to get our food even after asking several times and the place being almost empty. One of the meals was not delivered at the same time as the rest, we had to ask yet again where it was even though the waiter was serving other tables and when it came it was luke warm at best. We had 2 carveries, and some of the potatoes were rock hard, so they were not cooked properly, carrots were soggy, so overcooked, and some of the potatoes were black. £118.00 paid out altogether and very disappointed with both food and service. We definitely won't be visiting this pub again and possibly won't visit Farmhouse Inns again. This is a shame as we eat out a lot and have a few farmhouse inns near us.

The customer service of Keira was fantastic she went above and beyond when serving us, was very polite and helpful, the prices of the meals/drinks are great very affordable and the quality of the food was amazing! Came here for my birthday! The service was amazing the food was lovely the carvery was spot on thank you to Keira for being so polite and so friendly to each one of my family members made the experience so much better and put a smile on all of ours faces :) definitely recommend to all!

I had some amazing service from Valentine last Thursday! This was my first time here - She was very attentive and talkative, and she made my little niece’s experience truly special as she was mesmerised by valentine’s appearance! She thought she was a ‘dark Disney queen (like the one from Sleeping Beauty)’ (her words not mine lol! I’m sure it was in the best way possible). She consistently checked back on us which was lovely and even gave us a little Halloween themed review card that she drew spooky bats and cobwebs on, which was super sweet and unique and lead me to write this! My niece was even happier with this as she saw it as an autograph 😂! On top of all this the other staff were so lovely - The lady on the bar was really sweet and the food was absolutely amazing, the veggie carvery has an amazing amount of food much to my pleasant surprise! The desserts were yummy too! Thanks so much for such a wonderful experience, I’ll certainly be back again and have recommended to friends and family!

Always a nice atmosphere when we go there wether it be with family friends and your other half. The staff are always pleasant and the food is pretty decent and the breakfast is good to 👍🏽

My family and I love going to the Coppice Wood, so on Sunday we made a last minute booking for 6. When we were shown to our table, it was right under the air con, which was blowing a gale. So I told the lady on the front desk, she said she can turn it off. I also mentioned that the table seemed a bit on the small side, and asked for something bigger. We were a party of 3 adults and 3 kids and we like to spread out! Unfortunately the place was packed, but she offered us another table that had to be cleared in an hour and a half. She was so friendly, helpful and we felt that she tried her best. We decided to keep the table, so we weren't rushed, and have the air con turned off. The kids meals came out quickly, before we got up for our cavery, and luckily they went off to play just as we started eating, so it wasn't a squeeze after all. The air con was turned on again, blowing cold air over our food, so I told the lady on the desk and it was quickly turned off again. What we thought were problems that could have spoilt our meal, we're dealt with courteously and professionally. She apologised for not being able to do more. I wish I had taken her name, she deserves the credit, but well done, we had another enjoyable meal at Coppice Wood Farm. PS. The food was lush, as usual, but the Booscoff cake was out of this world 😋

There's just something about a traditional Sunday carvery that people expect. But first hand trying a farmhouse carvery is another level 😍 - rich, tender and taste exception is high here, and you get that. Yes it looks like a regular carvery that you could probably find anywhere else, but the taste assigned to it is uniquely delicious with a farmhouse carvery. Worth checking out if you ever visit Trafford Centre/ Manchester.

There were 10 of us, and we had the all you can eat breakfast, which included unlimited tea and coffee. Great value for money, we'd reserved a table so we could sit together, not really necessary, but as I'd not been before with a biggish group we thought it would be better, but there was still plenty of room left, if we hadn't. The staff were lovely and kept checking to make sure we were all OK and happy with everything, no issues at all. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing too. I'd definitely recommend this place to eat, I believe the Sunday lunch is definitely one to try, too.

I was served by a wonderful human named Valentine the other day and she was so lovely and I felt so well catered for by her! She was super reassuring and attentive, and made sure to check up on us even when it got busy! all the other staff were lovely too but Valentine specifically stood out to me - thanks for such a lovely experience to the whole team! Carvery was amazing and the cakes were fantastic - I'll definitely be coming again soon x

I was served by Valentine who was really lovely and helped me with my order! (Plus she poured an amazing pint of Guinness) The fish and chips were also super crispy and lush 🥰 Definitely will come back again!!

Always love coming here for their tasty carvery, other meals and their massive and delicious cakes! Recently bought 3 slices of their cakes for a birthday party as the price and taste of the cakes is just stunning. The atmosphere and staff are always so pleasant and nice!

Working away from home a lot of the time always provides challenges when visiting places for the first time, never usually go for carvery as let down many times before but it looked so appealing so thought would give it a try. Very good decision! Everything delicious and hot and the young lady that came and checked on me was brilliant (I think her name was ellie) she even convinced me to take a cake away with me. Will 100% come here again next time I'm working in the area

This is a difficult one to review. On the one hand, one of our meals arrived a good 20+ past the rest and the woman at the bar openly admitted that she'd charged for it but missed it on the list. The ice cream orders were made infinitely more complex than they needed to be. It was chaotic and there was no clear system in place to make it any easier. On the other hand, we were compensated, staff were apologetic, and the food we did have was good - but the place is understaffed and overworked, and it shows.

Been coming here for a few years now!! food is always good and the wife loves the sirloin steak and I always have a carvery it’s great value for the money . Meet a new manager tonight called Libby she was lovely and went the extra mile to make sure we had a great experience and told us there is a new menu starting tomorrow so it’s looking like we will be back weekend for my birthday meal with the family cheers !!

Just to flag please makesure your staff are aware of the (to good to go) I felt a little stupid asking for my order and the lovely guy on the till had no idea what I was talking about, then having to explain what it was and staff stood around watching not bothering to help or explain to him, until he asked them.

We’re do I start 🤔the carvery meat was nice but the potatoes were dried up and totally un edible, the stuffing looked like flapjack, crusty and burnt , and I will show a photo off the Yorkshire pudding that was like a rock , the video shows my granddaughter try to smash it apart to eat it but mine is on the table , I gave up. The service as well was dreadful 1 girl taking all orders and they could see a big queue forming but made no attempt to put any on else on the tills. What should have been a nice afternoon with my granddaughter and friend who had brought her 18 month old daughter as a treat turned into us wishing we would have gone to Mc Donald’s. I was told it was nice food, it was dreadful 🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈1⭐️For ice cream . Mr kennedy Won’t let me put video on of the Yorkshire rock pudding, so put our photo on.

A member of staff had left so they were understaffed. The meals took longer to arrive one steak was so tough it was basically inedible. The pudding were ordered and never came so we had to ask a member of staff who was very busy due to the lack of staff she did sort it out not a brilliant outing

Came here was craving a carvery late at night (pregnant) and wasn't disappointed all food was fresh, all other family members were happy with there food and deserts will come back again with the baby as food family atmosphere thanks

I have to start by saying the staff are very accommodating and so kind. The classics gammon and turkey were delicious. They have done a good job at keeping the turkey moist. At carveries the roast potato's are sometimes hit and miss. This is my first time at this carvery and the potato's were pretty good. What makes this carvery better than others is the variety of vegetables. The honey roasted parsnips are incredible. I would highly recommend.
