Kathleen (an employee here) was very friendly, helpful and made us laugh. Amazing food, great service at the bar. The only complaint is the price. This deserves 5 stars.

Been to Coppice wood farm today 28th May 2025 where we found the food served by Mark excellent, there were 3 of us which included an elderly person and Danielle the waitress helped carrying her carvery back to the table, both staff were polite at all times and very helpful 💯

Visited Coppice Wood Farm near Trafford Centre with my parents and had a wonderful experience! We ordered 3 small carveries and were really impressed. The slow-cooked meats were incredibly tender and full of flavour, and the vegetables were perfectly cooked—soft, hearty, and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly throughout. A great place for a comforting meal with family. Highly recommend!

I have been here before and wanted to come for a family meal for a birthday. Our table was reserved as booked online, and everything was spot on. No queue at the bar when ordering drinks - all served correctly. Most of us had various carveries with some opting for other menu items instead. Could not fault a thing. Kathleen served us during our visit and was friendly throughout. We never felt rushed, nor a burden (even when taking group photos - Kathleen waited patiently when we had accidentally blocked her path!) We would definitely come back again.

Had lunch with wife. We arrived and were greeted and seated almost immediately . We were served by Ben whom took our order and asked of our dietary needs. Didn't wait to long for the meal. Ben was great and attentive.

Great food and helpful staff. Had a lovely time despite the sign at the front door requesting patrons walk around to the main entrance, which is frustrating! Note to disabled patrons: park round the far side where the main entrance is, not where the disabled parking spots are located at the front!

May 2025 Went for a little family tea - quick service - table available in the children area which is vital with a 6 and 2 year old.. manager Hannah served us and she was very helpful and even did me a DIY chicken burger that was amazing.. staff are always friendly happy - children area clean and toilets clean Affordable place to go if you cba cooking that night 😃 also walked out with a cheeky cake away - couldn’t resist

We arrived just after midday thinking the carvery would be fresh. The turkey was in bits it was that dry. The parsnips were burnt the roast potatoes were inedible the carrots were grey and hacked up. My favourite the Yorkie was cold and greasy. Absolutely disgusting. 4 adults spent over £100 and I ate one parsnip. Because we had a disabled person with us we could not have food removed or leave the venue as this would have caused a meltdown so we was stuck. Waste of money. Rarely get out so disappointed. Never go back

Having recently visited the premises for the first time was very pleased and found the staff helpful and friendly especially Tom the person who served us. He took time to explain the menu and how the carvery system worked. He also came over and checked everything was okay with the food. Will be back.

I usually don’t like these places but this particular restaurant and also The Oak Tree Farm in Sunderland are both very good. Almost identical in their layouts, both have very friendly staff and the food is so much better than when this chain first started to appear. Very good all round. The carvery and the carvery salad are both excellent, the former being so much better than the chain beginning with T. Danielle looked after me well and promptly without being overbearing. Well done all round.

Asked for fish, didn’t have any then said I’d have steak pie didn’t have any. Then picked chicken came out dry, onion rings was like mush. Not one member of staffed asked about our meal.

This has always been our go to for meals out but today was something else The veg on the carvery looked like they had been there for a week all dried up a whole unpeeled carrot with slashes in it and big chunks in the carrot dish the roast potatoes were dry as was the rest of the veg and the Yorkshire pudding was hard as the road When I complained to the manager she told me they had just been put out which was a lie because as we sat down to eat the little food that was edible she told the carver to put out fresh veg I was thoroughly unimpressed with my meal today

My go to place for food when i’m up that Big north. The staff are always spot on and attentive ( a quality sadly lost in a lot of places these days ). It’s not high dining, but you will be pleasantly surprised with the attention to detail and fast service.

We had a carvery and it was delicious, served by Caroline, great and friendly service and a warm and welcoming atmosphere with good food for what you’re paying.

We all got carvery, everything was lovely and well cooked it was great meat was portioned well and you got as much veg as you like, the person that served us, Caroline was great she was really lovely and made sure we had everything we needed couldn't ask for better service, staff were lovely, food was lovely, and the atmosphere was great couldn't have asked for better

Carvery was good portion off meat, but the Yorkshires were burnt and the veg was soggy. The place was quiet on a Saturday. Hot chocolate and mocha was lovely. Good free parking.

Have been dining at coppice wood since it 1st opened on average about 6- 8 times a year as a family of 3, disgusted to have received a £100 parking fine today from 29th of March when we last went for a meal, according to the enforcement notice you need to register your vehicle reg with reception or at the bar,at no point did the receptionist inform us that we had to do this,we have never had to do this before & seeing as we hadn't been there since xmas we weren't aware parking policy had changed

Money grabbing anpr cost me 60 pound just put signs up great service that isn’t it will be reported to head office. I don’t give up easily.
