Good value for money. We enjoyed the carvery. The staff were welcoming and the service was great.

I have been here before and had a nice time. Tonight however food was awful staff were awful not a smile in sight. I complained about my meal the 1 thing the chef has to cook rather than microwave it was rock hard after pulling a server she said she would get a manager and pass on my comments. No one came, working in hospitality this is not how to handle things. 4 out of 5 is my party work in the industry including GK. I won’t be back any time soon.

Great service. We came for our daughters 13th birthday and Courtney made everyone feel welcome and made sure Georgia had a great time for her birthday. Food was lovely, staff were really lovely and BONUS you had vegan ice cream for our son who is allergic to dairy.

The food and service was excellent and the chef and the person who served us drinks was so helpful. I can't justify or get my head round how they can charge £3.60 for 1 can of vimto.

The bar staff Courtney is an amazing member of staff towards your company very outgoing very friendly a 100% asset towards your company

Tom, Courtney and Danielle provided excellent service for my mother's 50th birthday and I couldn't have asked for better

Had a lovely meal with colleagues on a work trip. Large group of us and bar staff were brilliant, especially Meg, as we had frequent large drink orders! I had two starters and a main and was very happy with the value and quality. Certainly a better choice than nearby places.

Had a wonderful meal the Beef and Ale Pie was to die for and Courtney provided us with excellent service

Standard dropping. Could do with a proper clean tables sticky carvery needed to be replenish could tell it had been out a while and warned up.

The food was spot on,though I can't justify a can of vimto at £3.80

We arrived for our too good to go, was waiting for a staff member for around 15 minutes, was told that we was too late even though there was 5 more minutes as they said they threw away the food? A young boy gave us attitude even though we was not complaining. We would have have complained regardless and just been disappointed. But the staff was really defensive before we could even talk. We then got the food and it was cold and I suspected they got it out the bin, a waste of time.

When we arrived we were seated quickly but not rushed, the waitress was very nice and chatty whilst she was taking our food and drinks order, there were 8 of us and we had plenty of space around our table.

15 of us came here after a funeral for food. Service was quick, the food was plentiful and easy to order. Thank you to Danielle for helping us to workout the (in)correct way to say knife and fork and keeping the mood light. Added to the mood at a pretty rubbish time.

Family of 3 went for tea time food before travelling home lovely colleagues really friendly... a colleague member had an accident dropping our drinks on the table and spilt 🍸 the team were really appolgetic gave us a slice of cake... overall good food and good experiance Child play area was really good for our 4 year old too A colleague member called Shaun was really attentive, helpful and friendly with us.

Came here yesterday to celebrate my father's birthday. The carvery was ok at best but i ordered a burger for myself which was rubbery and a big wedge of red onion on it. Presentation went out the window on this one. The main reason i wouldn't be returning is the customer service from the young male working behind the bar area. He was extremely rude. Twice I've been to this restaurant and on both occasions the same person has demonstrated poor customer service. Definitely the last time i will ever come here.

Visited on 15th and compared too my previous.visiy,it was a letdown,I go to.these.pubs alot and well.this time,the food was.not.upto.ther great standard,I.shall return for.breakfast see if that's OK

i have given this place one star because none is not possible.. this has got to be the worst restaurant i've ever been to, when i got here i orderd chicken strips and they didn't even have them in. what kind of pub doesn't have simple chicken? horrendous. then i ordered sausage balms and whoopty doo they're out of balms too. then when the slaves finally brought me my (cold) food it wasn't even nice, and i'm now ill. this place is shocking i do not recommend don't come here.

Ordered on the app, drinks didn’t arrive after 20 mins had to go to the bar then to be told one of the drinks they don’t have now and after ordering a carvery told there’s none left, order a new drink, they bring over the wrong one, finally new drink but it’s warm. Food is mid, mash has all bits in and one of us had to wait an extra 30 mins for her replacement meal and no check back Wouldn’t recommend, and as a waitress i don’t like complaining but i’ve not experienced something this bad ever. Only good thing is my brothers meal was fine and that we recieved a refund

Came for a family meal it was nice enjoyed the food, service was great but had low it as we was waiting for our taxi did not want be in cold we had disabled person with us, one lad asking clean table we was on, my friend said do we need go now, very abrupt guy said yes then walked off but still waiting on our taxi, we had to wait outside in cold with my disabled grandmother who can't stand very well could not sit as all chairs where wet

Lovely place for a big get-together. Large party celebration for birthday. Food is generally good, but the vegan bean burger was inedible. The service was excellent. Recommend carvery and steak and ale pie, but avoid bean burger.

The gentleman on the carvery made my little girls day. He was so nice and accomodatin! Helped a lotx

Excellent customer care by several members of staff. Enjoyable experience

From the beginning entering the place was messy, staff standing around chatting, no urgency from anyone to come great us at the welcome stand. Once we were shown to a table, we were just left. No one told us how to order, what was available or anything. Went to the bar after 30 mins waiting to be then told no carvery. So we ordered something else and starters came out reasonably quickly. We then waited 30 mins for someone to clear our starters after I asked how long our main course would be was told very abruptly and rudely 15 mins. Waited another 35 minutes and was told it's a further 45min wait. Then 2 mins the food arrived, dumped in front of us, no apology, no excuses, and then just walked off. Food was poor, cold and tasteless. Very fed up, hungry and very annoyed we just got up and walked out, didn't even eat anything. Luckily there was a Mcdonald round the corner who's service, food, atmosphere and welcome far exceeded this place. In all, first visit to your pub will most definitely be our last.

What a lovely little find. Warm welcome at the door. Just in time for a buffet breakfast for the fella and eggs benedict from the menu for me. Food was really good and cost a fraction of what we've paid elsewhere for very little. All through our visit we were looked after. Nothing was an issue. George and the his team were honestly beyond outstanding. You can tell that they all enjoy their roles and work hard to make it look effortless.

Had a lovely carvery today got there just in time before the issues with the headlamps. Only reason for giving 4 and not 5 stars is the vanilla slice has shrunk in size was a little disappointed with that

Absolutely love this place. The carvery's are amazing, the food is delicious and the gravy is lovely too. The roasties are gorgeous, light fluffy and crispy. Danielle our server was so friendly and helpful. The cakeaways are huge and delicious. The staff are all very friendly with the right amount of attention given. I can't recommend this place enough, it's my go to place for a carvery

Terrible hygiene. Dirty menu with old food crusted on it, dirty cutlery at the table, and when we asked for a box to take food home in we were given a dirty container.

After being a regular customer here I had always enjoyed our family meals out here as a treat.I visited a few months back and a staff member swore at me under her breath but I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt and go again.We went tonight as a family of 7 adults and a child.all ordered together and my partners meal never came.everyone else had finished eating and there was still no sign of it and had to get a refund and go to a takeaway.the food that did come had items missing and no explanation as to why,meats on the mixed grill were bland,dry and extremely salty.staff are ignorant and look like they don’t want to be there.i think we’re going to find a new family restaurant as we are definitely not going to be returning here again after tonight considering how much it costs to eat out as a family these days you’d expect good food and staff that can actually smile?

My food went back 3 times & my husbands once to cold.i don't have roast a anymore it's bland & cold . Latte are luc warm .

Great food and helpful staff. Had a lovely time despite the sign at the front door requesting patrons walk around to the main entrance, which is frustrating! Note to disabled patrons: park round the far side where the main entrance is, not where the disabled parking spots are located at the front!

Popped in for a couple of drinks and a bit of food. Tom and Megan were serving me and were absolutely brilliant, nothing was too much hassle for either of them. Would definitely come back and would recommend to anyone.
