The best restaurants serving Default food in Heald Green Stockport North West

Our meal was delicious,as always.Such a shame,this gem of a restaurant, is closing.It was very busy,tonight but great service and everyone was having a great time.Thank you to all the lovely staff,you will be missed.

This cafe claims to be British but doesn’t serve bacon in cooked breakfast or sandwiches. Now serving Turkey Bacon. I won’t be using this place again. I will use Coopers on Wilmslow Road or Cafe on the Lane. Always vote with your money.

Did just what we needed it to but could do with a face lift

Had a really poor experience when visited on 16 November. Had extensive safety and safeguarding concerns and immediately relayed these to the management in writing who said they would look into it. They offered me two free passes and I said I wouldn’t return until I know safety problems have been investigated and remedied. I sent several follow up emails before posting this negative review, they haven’t even bothered to reply. My concerns were: 1. No supervision in the indoor play area. It was a wet day. It was so (dangerously) overcrowded and older kids running everywhere in the toddler and baby areas. Did not see a single staff member anywhere in the play barn. Compare this to head over heels where staff regularly patrol and supervise 2. There are no locks or child protection gates on any of the the main exit doors straight out of the play barn and onto a car park. Shocking. When I was there I had to stop a couple of small toddlers (including my own!) from walking out- it’s just a normal door handle and the door was even left open when I was there. Dangerously unsafe 3. There are three steep stairs upto the main toilets near the play barn- the doors open outwards towards you as you approach. My toddlers fell backwards down the steps. 4. The door directly leading to the car park has no child lock- sign high up are asking parents to keep door closed but kids can easily open the normal door handle and run into the car park as cars reverse - could injure or kill a child I attempted to resolve matters directly with the company but they don’t seem to care as haven’t replied. Said three weeks ago they would discuss in a staff meeting but said nothing since despite my polite follow up emails. Therefore I have now reported them to ROSPA and the local council to investigate safety concerns So disappointed. Probably more disappointed that they think offering me two free passes was a resolution - why would I bring my children back here given my safety concerns ?

We came celebrating a 15th birthday. Greeted promptly and looked after fabulously by Laura. So attentive , refillable drinks, steaming hot food and a staff birthdays song and cake. We will definitely be back. *****

Food was dissappointing. My cajun mac and cheese👎 no taste. I have to add al salt to have taste. There'are set for an appertizer and a main for £22++. We order 2 set meal and 1 main for cajun mac and cheese. If you download TGI apps will get free dessert!!😡 After downloads, the staff said I can't use the free dessert which will expire in 3 hours because my main meal in the same bill with 2 set meals. I can't claim it. I felt I been scam for download the app! Futhermore asked us do we need any sauce for burger? When I asked for brown sauce, don't have it. They have bbq sauce and need to pay extra!! Only available free for tomato and mayo sauce. I guessed this will be last time to come in TGI Friday!! Any cafe I go would be free for sauces. Even cafe better services. Your food 3 x more expensive but quality poor.

A very limited and poor menu. Food was straight out of Icelands bargain end shelf and the furniture was literally falling apart. Looks like it has been intentionally rundown and was only used by people staying at the premier inn next door.

Food here is awful. Worst Chinese I’ve ever had. Far too expensive and people working there are miserable. Honestly don’t waste your money. The place is very dated too.

Ok I could say the staff were excellent and they are I could say the meal was very good and it was , the chairs are very comfortable, yes true. My only complaint is I have to leave at 4 am tomorrow morning so I can’t stay any longer.

well, a refreshing upgrade has certainly taken place since my last visit. The seating was plush, comfortable and very well laid out. Albeit we didn't eat on this occasion, we certainly downed a number of Holts Bitter, can't be beaten. All in all, a very pleasant evening.
