This pub has changed so much for the better, great ambience and the decor is looking very clean and fresh. The pub was busy & the staff were friendly. It was so lovely to see fresh flowers on the tables as opposed to tacky plastic ones & the Halloween decorations were very tasteful and admired.

Only stayed for one night, we found this hotel comfortable and clean with very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel also has very accomodating and free car parking right next to the hotel.

it was more expensive than any other pub we visited. It was our first stop. The lad behind the bar was rude and clueless. Tried to put lime in my rosé. Didn't ask which rosé tried to charge for large when i adked for small. This was all after ignoring us standing there before others in our party who arrived after. We won't be visiting again. Sat aft 4.30 approx.

Tasty sushi and great ice cream, nice place to go to once in a while. Everything we ordered was fresh and portions were good enough for each person. I don't have much to say about the atmosphere, but the staff were friendly and helpful. Place was quite empty when we were there, so the wait time was not very long. Definitely worth checking out :)

Only the second time her & the staff are really nice, food has been great both times & reasonably priced excellent friendly local pub & great food now our go to place for a decent meal 😋

Good enough coffee shop that I frequent quite often. However, service is incredibly slow. I don’t think I’ve had a visit where I’ve been served and received my drink within 20 minutes. They always seem short staffed and seem to prioritise Just Eat and other online delivery platforms rather than their F2F customers. Things need to change here.

Crazy pub on a weekend Mainly for younger people. But enjoyed my visit.

The food tastes good, the service is good, and the kitchen is professional. Will go there to eat again in the future. Worth recommending!

We stayed two nights, the pub is in a great location for some beautiful walks and surrounded by great local history too. Our room had everything you could ask for. Both James and Judith are lovely people and made us very welcome. The pub has a open fire, which makes it even cosier in the evenings. The food is all homemade by Judith and the breakfast is particularly outstanding, with all local ingredients.

Lovely staff, limited hours opening
