Coffee is great that’s standard. but I was at the till there was a young mother and her 2 kids behind me. Waiting to get served when someone a older female staff member clearly knew came in. Completely ignored the woman and children to serve him and not charge him. Can someone explain how all customers can get this service ????? Guy that did serve was great.

Great Costa Coffee store that is perfectly located on the coastal road.

I always use costa when out for walks, this as to be the worst ive used. 4 guys serving took ages just to get 2 medium lattes. Went on yhe seafront to drink our lattes, both of us couldn't drink as was a weird taste, They ended up in the bin, we should have taken them back, but the place was packed due to poor service.

Well, if you're used to Japanese service, it's shocking, or maybe it's normal in Japan...Part-time workers chatting with each other over the food, it's slow, and it's not typical of part-time shifts. A young deaf girl enters the counter in casual clothes and joins in the conversation, bypassing me as a customer and getting her drink first?This store is very untidy, so I won't be going back there anymore.

Really disappointed today, been coming to Morecambe Costa since it opened. Never had an issue before until today, our order took alot longer than usual. However staff were messing about laughing and joking together and not concentrating once manager left the counter. So much so that my partners order was completely forgotten about. No apology was made, lady who taken our order confirmed we did order another drink and then it was laughed off. We waited and then was handed our missing drink with no apology. Headed out the cafe and had our drinks elsewhere only to then realise that my chocolate brownie milkshake was compacted with ice to the point where it was flavourless. Won't be going back.

I have never been so appalled in my life, this is the first time i have ever seen such a disgusting and filthy Costa, shocked at the dripping roof and over flowing bins, the floor looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for days. No excuses lazy staff that have no idea how to maintain a clean environment. Everything needed cleaning from floors to windows and the coffee machines, dirty rags lying around. A mop bucket catching a drip, sort yourself out, your not that busy and before i forget no card cash only …. Get it fixed.

Visited Costa on the 02/05/2023, there was abit of que, there was four servers behind the counter. When I was asked for my order the man kept having having a conversation with his colleague & I had to repeat my order 3 times 😤 once placed my ordered, I waited & the only saving grace was syra who single handedly seemed to be only one who was working hard & ensuring ordered was made. If it wasnt for syra I would of requested a refund & left due to the lack of customer service.

Lovely view of the sea and the staff in this costa are very friendly, nothing seems rushed at all, lots of locals visit this one, it’s in such a good spot.

Nice place, good coffee, great views of the bay while enjoying a takeaway drink/snack. I ordered a mocha with oat milk (because of allergies). They were really knowledgeable about ingredients and allergens. Big plus! Barista made too much hot chocolate, so I got a small take away cup of hot chocolate. My daughters loved it! Will come again next time I'm in Morecambe.

My boyfriend went to pick us up some coffees. The batista said he had accidently written HC (hot chocolate) on mine but that it was in fact an oat milk mocha. It was a hot chocolate, actually.

Love love love the coffee at Costa. The ambience is typical cafe (chilled), it's pricey but you get what you pay for. Only problem is that generally I find they use skimmed, so I recommend asking for the milk you like as it provides a better coffee all round. The staff are good people and get the millionares shortbread, it's amazeballs

We had two latte's and two sandwiches, standard Costa really however the staff were so rude. Asking for a cupholder turned into being insulted! Shame bringing the brand down with bad customer service!

Best place to spend time while you waiting for an appointment

A great place, you can sit outside or inside and enjoy the beach view. Staff are friendly and the food is really good. The staff are very kind, helpful and give excellent service. Very nice, I would recommend.

Popped in just before midday for a Soya hot chocolate with marshmallow, flake and cream on top. Was offered chocolate dusting on top 😋. First time using the app here staff were very helpful and showed me how to use it. Very polite and fast service here. Looking forward to coming here again. Thank you.

Nice small seafront cafe, the weather was terrible grey and cold but a warm atmosphere inside with friendly staff, didn't really want to leave back into the cold.

Not one of the best, the young girls serving were more interested in each others exploits than serving customers. Coffee was standard Costa fare. Place needs a clean and tidy up

Nice little Costa, Good staff, good service and great drinks. The one further down the prom is no where near as nice as this one.

Hi may I just say that I must admit I do pop into Costa quite often and the staff are so friendly to all their customers which is very important, I even bought a yummy cake which is why I'll definitely have to go on a diet lol. But on the serious side of things keep up with good but hard work as you do wonders making a latte so quick and easy so I've come to notice. Take care of yourselves

Very slow service, slower than previous visits. Only 2 doing the drinks on a very busy day.

I visit here quite often on my morning walk, the staff always make my drink perfect.

Service good even though you have to queue for social distancing and only 2 customers in shop.

Last visit the coffee was very good but the previous visit the coffee was awful not much coffee in my de caffe capachino depends on the staff on duty so don't use it when they are on.

Ideal shop on the promenade if you want a coffee. I like to sit outside great views across the bay.i like the coffee as well.

So so. Probably slightly disappointing due to the current Covid 19 restrictions.

Its the usual Costa that we all know and love.

Was unfortunately forced to change my review after the abhorrent service from staff my fiancé encountered; she was called 'deaf' by the staff because she couldn't hear them clearly through the screen.

Not a problem with coffee, it was the staff. Firstly the server had no interest whatsoever or patience. Order 4 drinks and took the money without giving change then the drink were in mugs when I was clear it was takeaway, still not received my change and when I brought it up to another member of staff to get my change the other server didnt apologised n simply answered with a shrug and rude face that he 'gets distracted easily' . My family was disgusted with the service to which I tried to ignore but I'm finally putting a review on here.

Excellent service and a beautiful view

Went for a coffee and a hot choc with family and friends. The staff were so polite and friendly, they made us feel really welcome. Coffee was good, so was the hot choc for my kids. The flakes were a good touch with the coffee.

Firstly, I like the coffee - always a good property in a cafe! I can get a choice of plant milks and I can also get a vegan meal/snack too. I appreciate their ethos - rainforest alliance coffee, encouraging people to use reusable cups by giving a good discount (25p), and recycling coffee cups (not just Costa). It's also a handy venue in the Centre of town.

A small but very popular Coffee Shop. Helpful staff. Great Coffee. I don't like that smokers are so close to the door outside that the smoke drifts in as the door opens. Ideal for 'people watching'.

Male member of staff couldn’t even be bothered to say hello. Carried on wiping down the surfaces and coffee machine as if I wasn’t there. First time I’ve been to a Costa and felt guilty for being there! Coffee and hot chocolate were good as always but staff need to work on their customer relations!

Usual excellent coffee. This coffee shop is on a main road so parking is a bit of a pain, when you do manage to get here the access is pretty good for all abilities and there seems to be ample seating, been here on a number of occasions and will probably be coming back some more, definitely recommend.

Lots of seating outside with a sea view, what more could you want ? Does not take too long to get served in here. I had a cheese and ham toastie, and it was only toasted on one side !!

Pricey but drinks are nice and hot

Small Costa but a good view of the rain driving against the front. Got toilets and usual range of cakes etc.

All tables were covered with dirty cups and trays. Eventually cleared but not cleaned. Staff busy but not quick to clear up.

Costa is always good and consistent You know what to expect and it is always clean and tidy.

Staff waste of space. Cleared our own table while 3 staff stood doining nothing but chat to each other. An when getting served, staff was more interested in chatting to someone about there night out.

It's always busy as it's the only cafe in the hospital, so near the entrance. I asked for a soya latte but staff didn't communicate well and I got normal milk. It's usually more efficient.

Good service, unfortunately nearly every time I go in there are tables not emptied or cleaned .I sat down at a clear table the other day and the table was sticky.
