Good service, good food with plenty of room to sit and enjoy your meal.

Stayed in the hotel and had evening meal and breakfast. A superb jewel in a struggling town. Excellent clean, comfortable hotel room with a good breakfast. The chef needs praise for a great menu of fresh prepared and cooked meals

We booked for lunch on Bank Holiday Monday, we were in the bar as we had our dogs with us, dogs in the bar area only, fine with that . Prompt service from a lovely smiling Poppy , very welcoming as were Dan and Wendy . 2 fish and chips and I had the chicken and bacon tagliatelle Fish lovely and fresh and my pasta was lovely and creamy ! Excellent all round and the fix price menu is excellent value ! Highly recommended

Came across this hotel/restaurant the other day when myself and some friends were passing. None of us are from this area but we had a look online at the reviews and decided to have a look. Once we walked in the bar woman gave us the dirtiest look as if we were muck. She made us all feel uncomfortable and then heard her giggling and whispering to who I presume was one of the chefs. We decided to only use the toilets at this point. Won’t be coming again unless they change their staff. Very unhappy.

Fabulous Fabulous lunch , outstanding food, good service, great value, 2 x 3 course lunches ,2x large premium lagers,1 x large glass of Chardoney.

A really good meal tonight with a bottle of rose with change from £50 for the two of us. The chicken option we both had was well cooked and served piping hot.

Had a meal with my wife while visiting the area. Nice place, managed to park on the street just down the road. Otherwise parking would be in the public car park opposite. A friendly welcome and was impressed too with the restaurant decor to. Staff happy to chat and no rush to order etc. Food on fixed price menu is great value, fresh, good amount and well priced. Wide choice of drinks on tap and Melbec was really good. Would return and recommend. I can see why their scores are so good on reviews. Good work, great team.

Still great here if a bit quieter than it used to be - but then everywhere is in Morecambe at the moment. They look after this place is top style, it's always very clean, super nice lavs and theres always top notch service. The food is consistently great with giant portions. The back garden is lovely in the summer.

This is my new favourite place to grab a quick working lunch. Really nice decor and the food is great. Highly recommended.

What an absolute little gem this hotel is. Beautiful bar area with fantastic features, stone walls and fire. Lovely clean rooms and bathrooms but above all the really friendly and attentive staff. And, the food was great.

We went for dinner tonight and couldn't fault anything! The staff were friendly ,helpful and professional. The food was excellent,the service was quick and overall it ranked as one of the best meals we've had whilst in Morecambe. My wife had the gluten free Hunters Chicken which was outstanding and my Gammon Steak with all the trimmings was superb. Highly recommended and will definitely return as soon as possible.

Stopped at Morecombe on our way home as neither of us had ever been after a weekend in the Lake District. Morecombe itself was a little disappointing and not what I had imagined especially the area back from the promenade like many places suffers from lack of investment. However the hotel was the upside. Room and bed both were comfortable and ideal. The shower was excellent, hot and powerful. Both our breakfasts were very good. Well cooked and tasty. Service was great at breakfast. The bar provided a good selection but for me was a little soulless. Overall we enjoyed our visit to the area and would definitely recommend this hotel. It was a little bit more expensive than some other local hotels but the breakfast and shower made it worth it.

Only thing that spoiled the visit was being cashless luckily I had a card with me signage stating cashless would have been a good idea

We came to the Morecambe Hotel for lunch on Tuesday with our 1 year old daughter and the service we received was impeccable. The lady who served us couldn't do enough and was so attentive to our little girl. We asked for carrot sticks which weren't on the menu and it was no trouble at all. We ordered a sandwich to share and a soup each and we were even given separate plates with half a sandwich on and our own portion of chips! The owner then very kindly gave our daughter a drink of juice in a palm tree cup which she absolutely loved and it was such a nice touch. We come to the Morecambe hotel quite often and we're always given such great service, but it's extra special when children are made to feel welcome too. Such a lovely place with lovely staff - and the food is just always amazing! Thank you for making us feel so welcome 🩷

This is a gem. Came here twice over the three days we stayed in Morecambe. I would make a reservation. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is very warm and the food is fantastic. I honestly think I had the best burger of my life here... I was so blown away. Perrin sizes are generous and prices are very good. The tables are massive... They must have giants in the area. We loved it. The food is very well presented too. This was an unexpected gastronomic delight and I would highly recommend eating here if you are in Morecambe.

Went to the bar where there was a man serving 2 women and when he finished serving them he completely ignored me .when I was waiting I wanted to order food but with that that terrible customer service of ignoring me I walked straight out

Booked a table for 5 for 8 o’clock, on arrival the glasses were stacked up on the bar and was offered tall or gin glasses for wine and it wasn’t that busy . The table was sticky , after waiting an hour for the food, it was awful 4 had fish which was basically a tiddler in a huge amount of cardboard batter and my supposed sirloin steak was like something I’d buy cheap from the butchers and covered with something I’m sure I didn’t order, the peppercorn sauce was ok. 2 of our party was ill. Will not be returning or recommending to anyone soon .

Brought a group of friends from Manchester for a meal pm during the Vintage festival weekend. Service poor , uninterested staff and an hour wait for food from our arrival. 4 people in the group had fish and chips, and had to request vinegar, got some eventually, but only enough for one , had to request more. Massive piece of rock hard batter, with little fish inside. Won't be going back anytime soon.

Very slow service.Part of meal stone cold. No apology given. Said OK will pass it on. No apology on payment and still charged full price. Couldn't even get the drinks right. Shocking experience. Would not recommend and definitely will not be returning.

Arrived midweek for a lunch. Made very welcome, staff were attentive. Good selection on both menus (lunch and main menu) and ordered the lamb. Very tasty but quite a long time to wait for the food. Staff did come and keep us abreast of the wait, we hadn’t ordered a starter and if so would not have noticed the time. All in all a good experience.

Visited on a Monday lunch time, roughly 3/4pm.. very quiet, however took our mains roughly 45 minutes to arrive. We ordered the lamb and a rib eye steak. The lamb was barely warm, and steak had to be up there with one of the worst steaks i’ve ever been served. The chef most definitely can not cook steak, which is worrying when they are charging £40 for one. Service felt rushed, and unprofessional from arriving to paying the bill, it definitely isn’t worth the price at all. No one came and asked how the food was either. Had better service and food from pubs. Isn’t the easiest place to find parking for either so wouldn’t bother!

Very disappointed called to try to book 13 people in for dinner tonight on a Monday night and they said they couldn’t accommodate us!! Who can’t do 13 people in a seaside town on a Monday night in the Summer Holidays!

Nice pub but noisy due to 40's weekend, singer and house music playing at the same time. Had the signature fish and chips which was overwhelming. Could not est it all, chips would feed 5000. A lot of batter on the choos and nearly 60.00 for lunch for 2. I think we will bring our own sandwiches next time. 13.00 for shrimps is overpriced.

Not the greatest of experiences,told as soon as we walked through the door there would be a substantial wait for food even though restaurant wasn't busy. We ordered food which came after waiting..the excuse was because we had asked for separate bills when it did come lamb was only luke warm,overall food was OK. We then ordered the desserts I opted for the chargrilled pineapple....after waiting a considerable time it arrived....however it wasn't chargrilled the excuse for this was because they had to run round sourcing fresh ingredients.....don't treat your customers like idiots with your lame excuses....especially an ex pastry chef....even had to wait over 30 minutes for scoops of ice cream

We were so disappointed it was a special birthday and it was spoilt by very poor badly cooked food. The manager did not seem to care and told us we were wrong when we said the food was not cooked. Will not be returning.

The food for three out of four of us was not good . Under cooked and the manager didn't seem to care. Very poor customer service and would not recommend. Shame as have been before and it was good. Will not be returning again.

The restaurant and bar is lovley .We went to sit outside as lovley sunny day. But didn't sit out due to the floor being covered in bird muck plus seats and tables. It's a lovley sitting out area. I know you can't prevent this happening...

The food was expensive and awful, I couldn’t eat the chips they were like cardboard. The fish I had was really greasy, batter soggy. I gave it 2 stars because the service was good.

Terrible service was a awful smell in the place and was left waiting over an hour without service and was not busy so couldn’t understand the delay. Whoever I spoke to was aggressive to the point of threatening. Will never go there again nor recommend

Fantastic food slightly more expensive but you definitely get your money's worth. I had a small fish and chips and filled me to last all day! Best tartare sauce ever had too! Staff were friendly and exceptionally polite and helpful. It was very clean. Would definitely recommend to anyone!!

Ate here over the Easter weekend ,food fabulous & nice atmosphere,unfortunately ive given three stars for the service . We were served by a young guy who must've had amnesia that night as he came over to take our order for drinks then never materialised ,same with the food ,fortunately the lady behind the bar ,saved the day & she was extremely busy sorting drinks orders managed to take both our drinks & food orders otherwise we'd never have gotten our orders . The manager needs to get a grip of their younger members of staff & the restaurant will be amazing .

Had one of the best Festive Afternoon Teas here. Took my mum for her birthday as a special treat and the Food & Service were fantastic. Great value for the afternoon tea, also compliments to the chef for the lovely sausage roll, ham hock Terrine and quiche. Not forgetting the amazing cakes. Been a few times with my fiancee. Always opted for steaks when dining. Very good steak accompanied with proper onion rings. Good portion sizes and decent selection of beer/ales to wash it down with.

When your in the mood for eggs royale and my husband fancied a big breakfast! They had no spinach and the muffins could've been toasted for longer and the staff were doing their morning cleaning around us whilst we ate. Not good?

As we are staying at the Morcambe hotel we decided to try out the restaurant for the first night. My husband had the beef Sunday dinner and I had the vegan nut roast. Both were delicious and although this was the first nut roast I have ever had I would try this again. Dessert was white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake for my husband and I decided to try the vegan panna cotta. Again both delicious. Reasonably priced, delicious food, friendly and helpful staff. What more could you ask for?

We had a lovely meal at the Morecambe Restaurant last night (30th July.) The new menu has a good variety of dishes to choose from. All the staff were very pleasant and attentive especially our server....Hannah. Thank you everyone, we will be back again soon.

Rude service. Came in with a baby in a pram and the way how we were treated is unacceptable.

Tried the vegan roast diner. They served nut roast, veg, mash, green beans, roast potatoes and cauliflower cheese. All with veg gravy. The cauliflower cheese wasn't on the menu but it tasted good, I asked for the recipe but they said no. Buy the way, cauliflower cheese isn't vegan.

Visited for lunch, beautiful interior and pleasant beer garden and nautical themed climbing frame. Food was great quality but sadly the service didn't match, the children had ate their meals by the time ours were brought to the table and that was after a verbal prompt to the server. The restaurant was pretty quiet and no reason was provided for the lengthy delay. Bit pricey but the food was very good, would probably visit again.

Friendly staff, beautifully decorated surroundings and good choice of food on the menu. The prices for food and drinks are very reasonable. There is a sunny orangery to dine in if you wish also outdoor seating and play area outside in the garden at the back of the hotel/pub. I would definitely go back 👍😁.

Food was really nice but service was slow the table was really sticky and nasty, floor was rotten and we were kind of stuck out the back of the restaurant which feels like an after thought people smoke outside the window outside which was a bit grim, I wouldn't go back

Superb food, lovely waiting and bar staff, quiet, clean and welcoming. What more could you ask for? This place has become a firm favourite of ours when we have a celebration such as an anniversary. I can highly recommend the scallops and the fried fish - perfection.

Excellent fish and chips for me and my sister- in- law, the waitress was very helpful when i asked for the ingredients in the lamb hot pot, unfortunately i couldn't have it. Thankyou Morecambe hotel for a lovely lunch. We wouldn't hesitate to go back.
