Costa Coffee in Lancaster

Una gran estancia de dos noches en Lancaster llegó a su fin, mi hermano gemelo y yo estábamos esperando nuestro tren de vuelta a Liverpool y decidimos pasar por este Costa Coffee , he estado aquí antes, siempre lo pasamos bien y así lo demostró en nuestra última visita a aquí. Un café lo suficientemente decente, el interior es magnífico, paredes de piedra maciza, decoración y mobiliario típicos de Costa Coffee, mostradores de servicio con frente de vidrio muestran las golosinas que se ofrecen y hay un montón de opciones de asientos repartidos por todo este café tanto dentro como fuera con vistas a la concurrida y bulliciosa estación de tren de Lancaster. Pedimos un café blanco plano cada uno, estos se sirven humeantes calientes, nos relajamos y fuimos sobre las grandes vacaciones que acabamos de disfrutar mientras bebíamos nuestro café. Mi café era muy bueno, un gran fan del café servido en Costa Coffee, es consistente en todos sus puntos de venta y su café blanco plano es uno de mis favoritos particulares. Ambos disfrutamos mucho de nuestro café aquí antes de seguir adelante y aunque nuestra visita fue solo fugaz como en cualquier otra visita a aquí nos lo pasamos muy bien. Este Costa Coffee es fácil de encontrar en la estación de tren de Lancaster. El horario de apertura es; De lunes a sábado, de 6 am a 7 . 30 pm. Domingo, 9 am a 5 pm. Vale la pena comprobar si estás en la zona o planeando un viaje a Lancaster.

Very lovely staff but very frustrated that it's listed as wheelchair accessible as it is not - there is a 4 inch step at the door and no ramp available. Staff are lovely and happy to come out to take an order but there's no call button available so you have to get someone's help to get their attention.

Great friendly staff and nice takeaway service for the train journey. Will definitely be back.

Costa Coffee at Lancaster train station is a good place to wait for your journey.

went in this morning and thought the staff were very rude kept on talking between themselves while serving me,might only be trivia but I hate bad service and manners

Sad to say today I've had the worst coffee ever. Ordered a medium latte and think I received a quadruple espresso with a splash of foam! And it was far too hot for a latte, I needed an extra cup as there were no cup holders. Last time I passed by there was no food delivered. For a train station, it's not very reliable or decent, and customers are trapped or unable to get exchanges/refunds. Today's coffee was binned on the train! Service was friendly and efficient though, just the actual coffee was shockingly bad.

This was a brilliant shop to grab breakfast, with the options readily presented at the counter! This was handy when catching my train and wait time was fine, yoghurt was very flavoursome.

We arrived at the train station 15 minutes before the train arrived, we went into cafe and ordered a large americano and regular cappuccino, the server shouted our order to the 2 baristas who was making coffees, 2 ladies then came in behind us and ordered 2 teas, the baristas decided to make the 2 teas before making my order, so I just had to stand at counter and wait for my order to be made while watching the 2 ladies walk away with their teas, I have to say this was very bad customer service and I was very angry to be treated that way.

I had a really nice Vor task here. The staff were pleasant too. The place was clean and pleasant to take a break at.

A nice place to have breakfast when you need to catch the train in the morning.

This Costa is on the platform at Lancaster Station. Easy access from the street although you will need to navigate the staircase.

Got served by this guy(couldn’t see his name coz I wasn’t wearing glasses) he was super nice and helpful, great smile on his face, nice guy, nice service!

One of the Best coffees I've had recently opens at 6am

Popped in ! On a train visit ! Didn’t drink any of my drink til I got on the train ! Cup felt a bit light but didn’t think anything of it ! Opened it up to cool it down a bit ! And it was half a cup!! Feel like I have been ripped off some what !! You can tell there has been nothing taken out as there is nothing up the sides !!

Service was more of a grunt and the coffee was just about average. I came here with my friend and it was disappointing

Quaint little shop, fitting in well with the aesthetics of the surrounding train station. We were served promptly and made feel welcome instantly. Lovely staff and atmosphere.

Staff were incredibly friendly and made time to talk to every customer even with a big queue.

A wonderful and pleasant experience. Quick service as I was in a rush to get back to my train. Staff were wonderful and helpful to my needs as I was in a rush. Always a happy smile from Becki and always a pleasant experience when ever I visit the store. Always call when ever I have time in Lancaster station. Store can get busy and the staff are as quick as possible when this happens but if you call be patient. As the wait is worth it! A* team well done!

A well-presented Costa on one of the station platforms, with a good range of food and friendly staff. Space to sit inside and out.

One for the nice staff, but been there five times, ordered latte and mocha, all were awful taste 🌝, don’t know if it’s the problem with machine or material

It was very quiet when I went in about 3pm on Monday. I was looking at the menu and waiting to order, There was only myself and someone behind me in line. instead of asking if I want to order, the server immediately spoke to the group of 3 people behind me who hadn’t decided what they wanted and then waited for them to decide and to order, cutting infront of me. I assumed they didn’t realise but then I get to place my order, and the girl immediately walks off after putting it on the machine when I tried to say I had a costa rewards scan to get points. So I didn’t get my point, and then while waiting they seemed just rude in general, all three looked absolutely annoyed at anyone who came in. I get working on a Monday isn’t the best but being decent to customers isn’t that difficult . Then when I get my drink, a cooler, it’s half empty, not even up to the fill line and tastes very strongly of the syrup used, making it rather over powering, it’s also more liquid like it was fully melted than an icy cooler, think too much syrup and too little ice. Overall they may have been having a bad day but they were rather rude and seemed annoyed anyone came in the store at all

experience made unique by quirky and hilarious staff - always cheer me up when i pass through. melissa and niki are a fabulous duo in particular. big love to the dream team! coffee excellent also

Staff didnt take my order properly, barrista tried to trick me into buying a more expensive drink, other barista got snotty with me because first one hadnt taken my order properly. Then i heard them slagging me off to each other when they thought i was out if earshot. Terrible way to act tbh- theres no need for it. Only reason they are getting 2 stars is cos the coffees nice. But seriously? Slagging off customers, when it was YOU that made the mistake. Poor customer service

Staff were clearly really busy but still so polite, cheery and helpful. Fab. And of course lovely coffee! Thank you!!!!

Nice quick hot brew for next train ahead

After a great four day stay in Lancaster my twin brother Stephen and I were in Lancaster Railway Station to catch our train back to Liverpool,with time to kill we dropped into this Costa Coffee in Lancaster Railway Station and what a great visit. It's only a small outlet,neat and tidy,typical Costa Coffee decor and seating out onto the platform,it's a really cosy outlet of this famous coffee chain. We ordered a flat white coffee which was served steaming hot ,we just kicked back and went over the great break we had just had in this beautiful town.a big fan of the coffee served in Costa Coffee ,it's always consistent in all their outlets and their flat white's are a particular favourite of mine. We really enjoyed our coffee's in here before catching our train back to Liverpool and for a first time visit to this Costa Coffee outlet we were totally impressed,it's easy to locate in Lancaster Railway Station,most certainly worth seeking out .

Was served by becki who was friendly & attentive, i ordered a white hot chocolate but unfortunately there was non available, so decided on a chai latte & a sausage bun. The staff are always very polite & helpful at the costa on Lancaster train station, perfect service!

This Costa on the station is superb. Was changing trains and had about 25 mins in a very cosy outlet - go into the far rooms not just the shop area. Excellent cosy and cleanThe shop itself is superbly clean very well laid out. The fridges containing the food were extremely well laid out neat and well stocked. Seats outside on a nice day. The staff were brilliant - all of them. Everything excellent

getting a coffee before my train arrived taking me to London. The staff were really friendly the chairs outside could do with a smartning up when compared to other coffee outlets on stations this was very good for service

Lovely dairy free options and decaf also available, somewhere to sit and enjoy your waiting time. Handy for south bound 🚂

Made first coffee Luke warm..... Got them to make a second hotter coffee, yet came with no caramal in it..... But disappointed if I'm honest.... Not my usual Costa experience.

Placed between platform 2 and 4, this coffee shop has a lovely atmosphere as well as inside and outside seating. The coffee is Costa but the real gem is the staff. Friendly, fun and fast but not so fast they don’t take care of the coffee. If you’re in a rush, it’s the place to get quality and not miss your train. The station is 5 mins from the centre.

This station cafe makes my regular journey from Lancaster to Hull much nicer. The staff are always pleasant and helpful even when really busy. The English breakfast tea is lovely - served very hot in a nice teapot with clean cup and saucer and there is always a tasty treat to go with it. Not a five star restaurant but a good, reliable cafe. Just what you need before a long journey.

Visited today and put off totally by all the flies in the cake area, crawling on everything. Come on Costa not so good. I think you need to think about your displays and how to combat insects. :-(

I visited this morning and was served by a young guy, Charlie I think. Such an excellent attitude and restored my faith in service with a smile. Hang on to this guy Costa!

Really lovely, staff are fantastic! To say it's just a train station cafe. It really is lovely Oldie worldie, with the service of past times, staff who connect with the customers. Had coffee and a panini. Really nice. Better than Costa and other coffee shops

When I go to cafés, I usually do the following things: make an unusual order (unusual cappuccino) and rate the coffee in my head. This time, I ordered a coconut decaf cappuccino, and the order was taken well. The staff were very polite, the milk was not scorched and the froth was fine (which is something, surprisingly, something you get in quite a few cafés) and the atmosphere is warm and cosy (they even have a wood stove). The only nag is it's still quite expensive, but that's Costa in general, not just this branch.

Nice to get quality coffee on the platform and the room still has the feel of original railway waiting room. Usual Costa quality of coffee (good) and friendly service. Not much seating space though if you are drinking in.
