The Hurley Flyer in Lancaster

Always a great experience at the Hurley flyer. Staff are so efficient and very pleasant. The food is fab. Clean and nice surroundings.

Shortages of items on menu so had to have alternatives, then at 8.15 unable to order dessert despite stating kitchen open until 9.00pm. Very disappointed.

The pub was a consistent vibe with other pubs from the same chain that we’ve visited previously, but the staff here truly shone, and completely improved our experience here. Claudia (the girl with the pink-red hair), was so skilled on the bar and fast with our drinks, and she was so kind and polite- a true credit to the establishment! Josh was also amazing too, everyone on staff while we were there seemed perfect for their jobs. The drinks were also amazing too- made/poured quickly, and no silly issues that we normally have, adding ice or having a keg run out mid-pour! My partner and I will absolutely be staying for lunch here next time we visit Morecambe.

Popped in for a few drinks and a bite to eat and all I have to say is the service was outstanding especially the pink haired young lady at the bar. Such a gem to have and made the drinks perfectly. Food was quick and warm when served. I have no complaints and will definitely visit again!

Lovely Customer Service! Particularly from Michael, this young bloke was very conversational and quick to complete whatever we needed meeting.The drinks were swift and the environment is always family-friendly and an excellent place to play darts! Would definitely come back again, as we have been for years.

The service here is absolutely immaculate. I come here very regularly. The drinks are always top notch. The food is always up to stupendous standards. The staff here are super kind and friendly. There is a pool table and the football is always on which is fantastic. The service from 2 lads Josh and Michael is amazing every time.

Very over priced...small portion..would not recommend ..3 tiny onion rings Which didn't arrive until we asked for them and we had finished our meal...shocking 😒

Poped into the Hurley today.(may I say lovely space) the service was impeccable from the bar staff, the floor staff and the hats off to the chef for the food. Everything was just perfect form strat to finsh. And a lot more pubs should be like this one. A dog friendly establishment with its OWN doggy menu, they even provide treats and poo bags. Me and my family all enjoy our Sunday dinners, eveythinh piping hot and out in good time even though the place was rammed. If you’re looking for a lovely day out the family the Hurley flyer is your place. And it finsh it off a lovely bottle of cider in the beer garden x

Love it here. David, who I assume is in a manager role is always really friendly and efficient. He obviously knows his job really well, and is always super nice! Great local and great for my teenager as it feels comfortable as a family pub

Wow wow wow! What can I say what a lovely pub the Hurley is. Today me and family popped in for a lovely meal. And everything was just top notch, all the staff from the bar, the floor and even the kitchen staff were top notch. Our meals were amazing every meal was great, I had a ulimate chicken burger, the chips were cooked to perfection and my partner had a roast beef dinner. Both came out piping hot and quite quick considering how busy the place was. I would like to mention how lovely Dave, Abi, thea, Tamzin and the manger was, too noch service and work with a smile and as a customer it great to see. For the pub itself it’s nice and open plenty of room and loads of tables making us feeling less cramped. The pub is a dog Friendly pub and to my suprise they even off a doddy menu, treats and water for the dogs and even poo bags. Most definitely will be returning to this pub Thank you the hurley staff for looking after us.

Came in to watch the football whilst on holiday and the staff were so friendly and obliging. Food came very quickly. Very dog friendly with treats for them and their own food menu. Highly recommended.

Had a meal here whilst staying at Regents bay holiday park, and the service was second to none. I had my dog with me, and she had a beagle breakfast, just too much bread for her, but she loved the rest. When we arrived, David showed us to our table, but it was very noisy, and my daughter explained it was too noisy for me because I'm deaf, he found us another table, but that was the same, he had a word with the manager, and put us somewhere else and then put the tv on mute to help me. Really appreciated all the help. Definitely recommend and will visit again. Thanks again David.

Lovely hot food served with a smile

Me my mum and my children came for a meal on Saturday and it was lovely. The food was delicious the staff were fantastic and very polite will David and Abby went above and beyond would definitely recommend! We came back 2 days later :)

Great place to meet up with friends or work colleagues. Staff very friendly nothing to much for them. Abi and Kasper looked after us very well a pleasure to be served by them. Wasn't kept waiting for the food to arive at the table well done kichen staff. WE WILL BE BACK

As regulars here during the caravan season we enjoy coming over for dinner usually as a group of 6-10 which is never easy!! Food was lovely, hot and the staff are always so lovely and helpful. Outside part too which is great for the nippers!

Served the wrong meal. Food was poor. Pub full of kids running around, bumping into tables. Very loud. And for 7pm loads of people absolutely hammered. I just wanted a quiet meal. But there were no other dog friendly choices in the area

What a lovely pub, great location for the football, lots of TVs tuned into different channels, and the fella behind the bar was really friendly, provided a great service, and so did his staff. We'd already had a big breakfast so didn't eat in there but the food that came out looked really good.

Booked a party of 20 for my birthday and couldn't fault the service or the food. The food came out quickly and hot.

Could not get served not enough staff.

Got to be one of the worst meals we have had last couple of years. I ordered chilli my wife ordered chicken roast dinner. I had about 5 spoonfuls of chilli which tasted of vinegar. The rice was cold and the chicken dinner was lukewarm and bland. Never again.should have took it back but just picked at it and left.

All staff welcoming , the food is absolutely amazing , one of the best beer gardens around Morecambe.! Definitely will be coming again 😌

A nice relaxing atmosphere where we enjoyed a really tasty meal. The staff were lovely throughout and accommodating with children and meal requests. Would definitely recommend 😊

Went Friday for lunch served by Rebecca very helpful as was undecided on what to have she suggested the cowboy burger and well she wasn’t wrong when she said it was very tasty! My wife had the lasagne and also said it was tasty! Our food was served by Dave who couldn’t have been more pleasant. Thanks team hurly flyer for great food, atmosphere and service. Will definitely back soon

Lovely homely, friendly pub. Dogs are welcome too and drinking bowls and treats await them. The food was fresh and arrived quickly. The staff were attentive and nothing was to much trouble. The toilets were clean and well lit. Will definitely visit again and would recommend this pub to anyone looking for a friendly atmosphere and good food and drink.

Nice food at a reasonable price and quick polite service. Lose a star because the chosen draught lager was out of stock (possibly couldn't be helped) and the mushrooms were missing from the steak meal.

Visited a few time when we moved to morecambe. loverly friendly pub menu as a good choice of dishes and food we had was wonderful and steaks were cook just right one rare other medium rare bang on

Called in for a drink before the morecambe fc game .security guards at the door .plastic containers for overpriced beer .not a pleasant experience. Rival fans mixing inside and out foul language .not a place to go for a family outing on a Saturday when a match is on .andvthe state of the outside disgusting litter in all the shrubs and undergrowth does no one think to have a litter pick and put some rubbish bins in the seated area

Typical pub food. Standard menu. There was a table the while time we were there that was cleaned. Plates were stacked ready to clear but wasn't it wasn't busy. With a try if you want something quick

Came has not been for some time, food was freshly cooked and prepared to what we could tell and was still hot.

We were a party of 11 who all ordered at different times yet the staff did an amazing job in serving our food all together. And it was delish. A great pub and a gem if you’re peckish.

Food is fantastic, staff are amazing/ Polite and always make you feel welcome, and always smiling. A big shout out to David, Jack & ABI to service with a smile. Me and my friend come often and will be definitely returning. We always recommend the Hurley flyer, keep up the good work team

Lovely staff, my son and I played darts and I had steak which was cooked to perfection with salad, yum. My son had chicken wings which he loved. First time here and would definitely recommend for a chilled out meal with kids or partners.

I visited the Hurley Flyer for lunch mid week with my daughter and grandson, we were very happy with our experience. We were welcomed my a friendly barman who told us we could choose where we sit and order at the bar. We used a baby highchair which was clean and had the safety straps on (in our experience this isn’t always the case in other venues). The food service was excellent, food arrived promptly, hot and delicious, Thankyou to chef Will! Staff member Dave made sure we had everything we wanted and came back to check in with us that everything was ok. The table was cleared once we had finished to make room for our desserts which again were really good. Thankyou to the team for a lovely lunch, we will see you on our next visit.

Fabulous Sunday roasts for 5 people. Clean plates all round 😊 Staff friendly & very helpful. Plenty if space around the tables, not all crammed in as some places are. We were celebrating Mum’s 80th birthday & had asked if we were ok to take our cake in, they were happy for us yo do this as they didn’t make cakes there themselves. Handed over discreetly on arrival with 80th cake sparklers. When we had finished our mains & the table cleared the waiter brought out the cake on a serving plate with sparklers lit! Mum knew nothing about it & was a loverly surprise that they supported. They brought out plates & a knife so we could all have a slice with our coffees. Would highly recommend, we have been before & always had lovely food, but this time round was made even better by the waiter. Thank you

Came for drinks the atmosphere was nice and calm

Came for a last minute meal and was blown away. We were served promptly and the food was absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend the kebab and sherry trifle cheesecake. My partner had the cheese and leek pie which was also gorgeous. Will most definitely return.
