My wife had the chicken roast dinner made by Wayne. It was a monster. Well worth the money. She would definitely recommend. The cowboy burger was very nice too.

Food and service was brilliant and really loved my Sunday roast 5 ⭐ Will defo go back. Liv and Michael were fab

My dad and I go every week, food is first class but what really makes it is the staff, friendly, efficient and it shows they care. Couldn't recommend enough you class.

Visited on Christmas Day. The food was very nice and the staff were friendly. However, we had to wait an hour and a half for our desserts, despite chasing them twice and people who had sat down well after us getting their desserts before us

The Christmas dinner and the starter and the pudding was excellent mum and I enjoyed it well done to the chef.

Dave’s service was excellent - laughed at my wifes poor joke! As well as the rest of the team! Great service when we had 12 people at the table

Decent pub right outside the Mazuma stadium. Good food (GF menu) and drink and a decent craic with away fans on match day. Kid friendly.

Had a lovely evening here last night. We dined on the festive fayre menu and had pre ordered. Table was ready when we arrived and set with a xmas theme including crackers. Once we'd all arrived we didn't wait long for our food which was all delicious. The turkey dinner had plenty of vegetables and the lemon tart pudding was lovely with great presentation so compliments to Chef Dev. Our servers Colin and Michael were friendly, attentive and couldn't do enough for us checking everything was OK regularly.

Bit disappointed ordered at 19.50 food and drinks and was told they would bring to us, food came quickly and was very nice but we'd nearly finished our food and the drinks had not arrived had to go and ask but only got 2 out of 3 and my daughter had to go back to the bar for the last which was 30 minutes not happy makes me think do I want to go back again

Josh, Colin and Dave were amazing!! Made sure to come over and make sure everything was ok and were super friendly and accommodating. The food was amazing so a big thanks to the chef Devon

We arranged food and drinks here for after a funeral. It was very easy to arrange and staff were very easy to deal with and helpful. The food was very good with a good variety and more than enough. We had a very nice area reserved for us. Thank you the Hurley Flyer.

First time at the Hurley Flyer. Great service from Connor, Josh and Colin. According to google, food service stopped at 9pm. However, this wasn't correct and food service stopped at 8pm. We arrived and ordered shortly after 8pm. The team were really accommodating and kept the kitchen open a bit longer to accommodate us. Really good service throughout. Great food as well. Will def visit again.

I attended for breakfast, as this is a fairly new thing for the Hurley Flyer. It was very tasty and great value for money at £6.95. I was served by Liv with a friendly smile and good service. I will definitely attend for breakfast again.

Visited today for a Sunday dinner with my mrs and we enjoyed it. It appears to have new staff since our last visit and the Service from Colin was brilliant and he couldn't do enough for us. Really friendly and we were made to feel welcome. The food was amazing ( see photos) we couldn't finish it as the portion was huge having the larger option. Everything was cooked to perfection by Wayne the chef. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this little gem. Dogs are welcome and they even have a doggies menu 😁 and a doggie takeaway for your not so socialising doggies. Can't praise them enough. Our new favourite place. You won't be disappointed.

Lovely food and service. We had a mega breakfast, great value and quality. Proper sausage not cheap ones. Only scored lower for atmosphere because it was very quiet.

Dave wayne and abi were absolutely incredible during such a busy service! football match on and protest so there’s more than likely twice as busy as a normal football day, the food was amazing!!

Came to the Hurley Flyer with my family, the food was lovely. We managed to win the quiz on the Friday night and won £25 bar tab. Thanks to David, Jack and chef Wayne we had a lovely night.

Attended with family for a birthday lunch for 12 of us including kids. Food didn't take too long and came out all together, no one was left waiting. Compliments to the chef Michael Devon. Small park to keep kids busy while we waited. Staff are friendly and chatty, nice atmosphere, tvs with sports on too.

Thankyou to the team. I turned up with three of my grandchildren and was made to feel very welcome..colouring sheets crayons and childrens menus brought straight away. They little ones enjoyed a freshly prepared hot meal and lived the dunk8bg doughnuts. The team were Abi Claudia and Michael.

We've been to this place a few times first time for breakfast it was great , my son loved his breakfast as the beans and the mushrooms where both in little ramekins which meant we could take them off and he could still eat the rest of his breakfast without worrying about having bean juice on the rest of his meal! We visited the hurley flyer today 23 October as a early Christmas meal due to my nanna going away November till January and we told the staff they brought us Christmas crackers out to Celebrate, food was amazing and all staff was brilliant too thank you too Will, wayne, liv and Dave

Been here 3 times this week for food and ale. Food was quick and nice and hot. Pubs pretty quiet the times we have been but thats just how we like it. 3 members of staff on today. Micheal connor and another guy who ive forgot his name. All.3 great service. Will call again this week for sure.

Another fantastic tea at The Hurley. As soon as we arrived Dave brought us a dog bowl (water) and some dog treats. Ordered a roast dinner and decided to pay the extra £2.00 for the doubling of beef & Yorkshire, to share with the dog...honest. OMG...it was double EVERYTHING! Ive never seen a roast like it and it was delicious. The staff came to check we were ok & were very chatty and polite. Even giving my son a toy egg from the machine. Ten out of ten tonight. We were really well looked after by all the staff. Kacsper, Dave and another lad I missed the name of sorry. A big thanks to the chefs Wayne, Josh & Michael. That Roast Dinner was something else!!!

Well..........we've been here several times but last night was abysmal. We're more than aware that you can't get a great healthy selection - no jacket spuds after 3.00pm, so we took our own jacket wrapped in foil - the 'lighter' options of a salad instead of chips doesn't cut it for a man who's worked outside all day to go alongside his steak, so we took our own! Result for that one. Myself, I'm calorie counting and again the choice is limited so alongside a veggie curry which filled HALF a plate including rice, I took 2 x Pitta breads also wrapped in foil. Just because you don't want to eat fat ( chips) and are watching content, doesn't mean you don't want to be full. I'd suggest carrying on with jacket potatoes to your evening service instead of limiting your healthy options to a side salad ?? And definitely look at your portion sizes. We're not 'big' people, we just have good appetites. Aside from the food - the steak was OK, the curry was just hot spice, no flavour, half of the restaurant had been taken up with a Halloween display. So some tables were replaced by this. So where we were, the door was constantly being opened ( fire door) for kids going in and out to the play area and for smokers. So as well as it being freezing ( we sat with our coats on and ate) we were also enduring passive smoking into the eating area. I did ask to move but the manager just closed the door- a minute later it was open again, and this went on......So all in all it wasn't great. We'd met with friends, we'll find another eatery next time. The manager tends to delight in telling you how much money you've saved with various offers but to be honest, I would rather pay a little more and have a comfortable evening. ☹️
