Sunday dinner needs to be improved the beef was very thin and dry portion sizes were small for the price

We have just celebrated my son’s 16th birthday at Hurley flyer and can’t thank the staff enough for their attentive service. They definately went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was well cooked and there was a large selection of food on the menu to suit everyone’s tastes and needs. Thank you !

Great meal , friendly service and good staff. Made catching up with family special. We will definitely come here again.

Food was not good at all chicken strips batter was hard and chips were frozen which i hate and tastless. Would not go again.

For the price, the food is decent (not mind blowing but what you would expect from a pub chain like this). I had the ultimate veggie burger which was good. The lasagne was a little underwhelming but for the price, acceptable. More notably, the staff were extremely friendly, service very efficient and a good family friendly restaurant. Would recommend.

Nice pub with a good atmosphere. Don’t bother if you want to watch football. If anyone comes into the bar and wants to watch another channel they just turn it over even if you have been sat there the whole game. Last orders can be any time from 9 pm. Highest beer prices in Morecambe.

The service was great lovely bartender but the only thing that was wrong with the food is that the people who had the chicken all thought it was bry it looked like they were trying to cover it up with sauce even though it didn't need it..the decoration is very nice but it is a bit loud with all the clattering plates. But this place is still a family favourite.🥳🥳🥳🥲

Booked a table for six for roast dinner. The pub I cannot fault, brilliant place and vibe. Staff very helpful and friendly. The roast dinner is the worst I have ever had, and I mean that honestly. Everything was clearly from frozen. I ordered the roast beef, photo on the menu looked great. The real thing would not be further from that. It was like a small thing steak with griddle marks, definitely not cut from a joint if beef. My dad ordered the half chicken, more like half a pigeon. Each meal was served in a big bowl, the gravy was tasteless and watery. The Yorkshire puddings were actually quite nice. But that's where it ends. Not value for money at all. Terrible, I would not recommend the food 3/10. As a pub 10/10

We had been for a walk while at the near by caravan park. We called in here for a coffee. Coffee could have been a little bit hotter. Apart from that it was a nice coffee. Staff behind bar polite. Not many people in. So nice and relaxing.

Absolutely fantastic, we decided to celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary at the Hurley Flyer. We pre booked and requested a booth which was reserved on our arrival. From entering to leaving the staff were amazing, we asked for a bottle of rosé prosecco and they even sourced one from the cellar. Food was outstanding. Overall a great experience making our anniversary very special and memorable. A big thank you to the staff at the Hurley flyer, you made it ver special. Thank You

Fantastic service fantastic food great staff. We come to Morecambe to stay a few times a year ant this is our go to place for food and drinks. Monday pizzas can not fault just as we liked them . Tuesday burgers especially the cowboy burger yehah. Weds curry day tikka masala is brilliant fininshing off thurs with fish n chips you can not fault the quality or quantities of any of them. The staff are always pleasant and polite and the place is spotless. Sport on many tellys and background music not too loud. Great beer garden when fine. Special mention for all the staff on our week 13/4 to 19/4 and our dog loves the place too

Staff were polite & friendly. Service was good, no great delays once orders had been placed. Food was good, as were portion sizes. Drinks were good, too.

The food is average at best and the drinks have increased since last year. Not a bad place to watch sports.

It’s a long time since I’ve been here following a bad experience many years ago. Clearly under different management from my previous visit What a wonderful surprise We visited as a party of 9 this evening. Everyone of our meals and desserts was fantastic, the service was second to none, the welcome great and all reasonable value. So, if like me you have any doubts, give it a go, you won’t be disappointed. We will definitely be returning as I couldn’t choose what I wanted to try so have to go back and try everything else. Staff are very friendly, the food service is efficient and the food is well cooked and tastes nice. We visit here more often now as the food and service has improved a great deal. We shall be back to visit again soon.

Had the double cheeseburger with bacon, chips and onion rings. So good, full of flavours and as a first time visitor, pleasantly surprised with everything. Great service as well.

Great place to go as an away fan. Atmosphere is brilliant and food is way better than your average pub.

My dad and I go every week, food is first class but what really makes it is the staff, friendly, efficient and it shows they care. Couldn't recommend enough you class.

A large group of us visited the pub on two separate occasions, we travelled to Morecambe for Easter weekend and were staying on a near by holiday park . This is hands down the best Marston’s we have visited - friendly, attentive staff, food was excellent arrived hot and good portions , a couple of minor errors with food which were rectified immediately. Staff were chatty and accommodating- we were a group of 12 and one particular lady ( working Easter Sunday ) went above and beyond to find us a table . We dined here twice and ordered from the main menus and kids . Plenty of veggie and vegan options too , highly recommend the vegan chilli 👌🏻. There is a kids play area outside and a few toy machines to entertain the children . We had a game of darts and enjoyed watching the football on the large screens both inside and out . Overall a great place to visit with family or friends . Maybe some of the midlands marstons could take a leaf out of their book . P.s please we would have loved it if you served breakfast 😅

Fantastic service, meal excellent, value for money

Visited Easter Sunday, grabbed some dinner whilst enjoying drinks and football in the beer garden. Yorkshire puddings are to die for! Dave is an absolute treasure! ☺️

Booked a table for 5pm rang to see if rugby on at 3pm no problem walked in rugby on. Staff fab drinks fab. Stayed to have meals hubby and son had cowboy burger with extra chips garlic bread and onion rings. Absolutely spot on. I asked for steak & ale pie with mash instead of chips. Well I’ve seen more meat on a butchers pencil the pastry was chewy like it had sat in a microwave and the mash tasted like instant. The gravy was like watered down. It was a shame as the other meals were ok. I didn’t say anything because my son who has a brain injury was so happy they played the rugby for us. I didn’t want to upset him I just hope next time i order something different it won’t spoil my experience. The pub is lovely the staff Claudia liv Michael and Wayne were fab and worked hard. We will be back tomorrow and I will just avoid the pies & mash. Happy Easter

Went with my best friend on Monday 25th March and it was lovely. I had the hunters chicken baguette with cheesy chips and a side of cheddar bites, my best friend had loaded fries and mushrooms in bread crumbs. We both really enjoyed our food, we also had a warm chocolate cake each which was super tasty! The place seemed clean and the bathrooms were actually really nice at the time we visited. It gives cheep & cheerful pub vibes (in a good way), a few steps up from Wetherspoons, we were really happy with everything and the staff were lovely! Will definitely be going again for a chilled pub lunch, thank you 😊

Me and my daughter had a wonderful meal here today the fish was lovely and well portioned the bar staff were lovely and kind helping me with everything I needed especially Connor and kayah they had a warm welcome attitude which made the whole experience very enjoyable I will be back again soon!

Nice food and good (efficient) service.

Visited today and we all had a great meal. Couple of points to mention though. They don't serve decaf coffee which in this day and age is sad for people like me that have to avoid caffeine. Most of the food was great but my son ordered a well done steak and it was medium rare ? When he mentioned it he got told "it's ok" Overall good food for price and served fast

The bar staff were friendly and welcoming, asking about allergies. I stated I had a sesame seed and pea allergy and to make sure there was no pea shoots in the salad (I know this is a common thing and can be overlooked). However, when I received my meal there was pea shoots in the salad. I explained to the waitress that there was pea shoots in my salad and I would need a fresh plate and chips due to the cross contamination. She took my plate away and returned a minute later saying the salad had been removed and replaced. I asked if the chips had also been replaced and if it was a fresh plate again due to cross contamination- this would cause me to have a reaction. She took my plate away for a second time and returned (hopefully with a fresh plate). This has put me off my meal as I wasn't sure if it was safe for me to eat. I will now be on edge all evening, hoping I don't have a reaction. This is a shame as normally the hurley flyer is great with allergens.

My experience at the Hurley flyer this evening was incredible, firstly the place was well kept and up to high standards. The staff was amazing especially Michael the bar man he was very lovely and polite. The Hurley flyer supervisor Connor was amazing he was great help for me and my spouse/partner. We had a lovely experience and Dave was such a lovely old chap. Very chatty and very friendly, always checking if we wanted anything else.

We stay at Regent Bay, across the road, a few times a year and, usually, always come in once or twice. This time as it was a Tuesday I had the burger meal deal, which was good, though a bit too crispy (but I like crispy), my partner had fish and chips and all in all we enjoyed it. I am there again next week, but with my mum, I'm hoping to bring her across to

The food was nice. Drinks wise they either do bottle of pop or pint no in-between. I had finished and my sister was still eating and a lady came over didn't say anything and just took one of the plates away one rude for not saying a word to us and 2 for doing it while someone is still eating I've been a waitress and this a pet hate. The lady who had abit hair shave at the back was lovely she came over when we'd both finished and actually asked us if everything was ok and if she could take the plates away which is good service. Though we didn't have a check back from either. Also I'd asked another lady about gluten free and kids meals as couldn't see any she came over with a menu and said allergies are online which I think is just lazy as to say don't wanna deal with this and I find it confusing online as it goes off the meal not the individual food. Overall some staff need to work more on customer service and to address customers when they are getting plates.

Lunch time vist on a miserable February day. The place was nowhere near busy maybe 10 other diners in the dining area. There was a choice of tables but wherever you chose the temperature in the room was decidedly chilly, it did not encourage you to remove coat. We were contemplating to maybe have a drink and move on, in the end we did finally order food. 2 of us had the 4 oz gammon and 1 had the smaller hunters chicken. The Gammon was succulent and very nice indeed as was the Hunters Chicken. Although the meals were very nice and we enjoyed them, I would think twice about doing another lunch time until the weather warms up. We did mention the temperature to the guy behind the bar he said the heating was working, but to be honest there was no heat coming from the vents. It's not good having a meal out and you feel cold.

my friend and I meet up twice a month, and after our foray to the shops go and have a meal at the Hurley flyer. its got everything we want, its spacious, the customer service is second to non, the fascilities are spotless,, but most of all the food is absolutely great. just try their fish and chips for starters. oh wow. Excellent food. There were 4 of us and each meal was perfect! Thankyou to chef Michael! The service was amazing was also fantastic, great servers, Connor, liv and dave. We hadn't been to the hurley flyer until late last year, despite living very close but it's definitely a firm fave and we will be returning!

Went for food with family on the way home from visiting Morecambe, food was fresh & tasty. Mixed grill was all cooked perfectly! Wife’s steak looked cooked perfectly. My brother had the pizza which had plenty of toppings. The service was really good the waitress Claudia served us with a smile and was very attentive, the bar maid Rebecca was very helpful when taking the order for both drinks & food. The food was nice, the atmosphere was relaxed, the bar staff were really fun, singing and dancing to the dukebox tunes because it was a bit quiet. It was a nice visit for a dreary Thursday.

We spoke mostly to David, who was really nice and attentive, and took the time to make sure everything was great with our food, despite not having many staff on. Everyone was smiling and seemed happy to be here, which is always nice to see. 11/10 would definitely come again!

Visited in-between Xmas and New Year as a break from cooking and close to home. Ordered the Mexican nachos to share as a starter. Disappointing, the menu said 'with cheese sauce'. Had to hunt for the sauce, very strange soured cream (more like cream cheese) and the only Mexican part was a few jalapeños on the edge of the plate. My partner ordered fish and chips. The fish arrived curled up, very overcooked and the fish was like cotton wool. I had the classic burger. This was just and so passable. Such a shame the food wasn't better as its handy to walk to for us. We won't be rushing back☹️👎

Great place for food! Go very often never had a bad meal! Separate area for dogs to sit in as well, loves his ‘chow chow’ meal!
